The invention relates to a hearing device system for binaural Supply with two hearing aids, microphones, signal processing units, Headphones and control elements, wherein provided between the hearing aid signal exchange is.
Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for operating a such hearing aid system.
A hearing aid system of this type is known from DE 23 60 342 C2 known. This hearing device system with two hearing aids, each of which a microphone, a receiver and a signal processing unit exhibit, is in one of the hearing aids the handset replaced with an induction coil. In other the two hearing is also an inductor provided for the reception with the listening coil of first hearing aid. This is between the two hearing aids the hearing aid system a wireless connection to Exchanging signals.
From DE 43 27 901 C1 is a hearing device system with two hearing aids and a spatially separated from this controller known. Between the hearing aid devices and the control unit is a wireless connection for exchanging Audio signals.
Furthermore, DE 19 38 381 A1, a hearing aid device is described, wherein the volume control by means of a wireless remote control is carried out.
Known hearing aids systems with two hearing aids, where provided a signal exchange between the two hearing aids is, have the disadvantage that for individual adjustment the hearing aid system, for example, with respect to the Volume control or the choice of hearing program, a separate Operation of both hearing aids needed. If a Remote control used the equally to both hearing aids acts, it is disadvantageous because they always carried must become. Furthermore, the hearing aid include the known hearing aid systems complex signal processing units.
Object of the present invention is to provide a hearing aid system of the type mentioned with respect to his hearing aids simplify and to a method for operating a indicate such a hearing aid system.
According to the invention this object is achieved in that at least from an operating element for adjusting the a Hearing aid generated control signals to the second hearing aid device are transferable and simultaneous adjustment of two hearing by these control signals and the hearing aid's own Signal processing units is provided. According to the invention thus is a significant simplification in the operation and / or the features of the hearing aid system reached.
In an inventive method for operating a hearing device system of the aforementioned type are of the Controls generated for adjusting the hearing aid a transmit control signals to the second Hörhilfegerat and the two hearing aids are by these control signals and the hearing aid's signal processing units simultaneously adaptable.
Known operating in hearing aids are, for example; On-off switch, input selector switch for microphone or auditory coil, gain adjusters, tone control, microphone switch or program selector. The controls allow the adaptation of the hearing aid to the needs of the case. You can gradually (eg switches) or continuously (Eg Steller resistors) be adjustable.
The invention realizes the function of a remote control, but avoiding their disadvantages, since the transmitter unit with the is hearing aid integrated. The invention has the advantage that no separate remote control has to be carried. to Adjustment of the two hearing, it is sufficient, one of the two Hearing aids to use. This is particularly the Switching to another hearing advantageous. In conventional Hearing aid systems, it may happen that one of the two devices is operated in the wrong hearing. Especially adversely this affects, for example if the one operated device with directional microphone and the other omnidirectional becomes. Total disorientation could then occur.
A hearing aid system according to the invention allows a simultaneous Switch both units and thus avoids the disadvantages conventional solutions.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the hearing aid system two hearing aids, the controls with regard to their match and from conventional hearing aids differ in that at least at a the controls of a transmission by the operation carried generated control signals to the other hearing aid device. This has the advantage that the present invention in hearing aids be applied without changing the present-day housing can. If on one of the two hearing an operating element actuated, are according to the invention both hearing aids adjusted accordingly.
Another variant of the invention, the controls at least partially split to both hearing aids. This has the consequence that therefore no longer any kind of Controls is present at each of the hearing aids and thus less overall space required for the installation of is operating elements required, whereby the remaining Controls carried out according to or greater, with an unchanged Size of the controls, the housing of the hearing aid can be reduced accordingly.
A particularly preferred variant of the invention provides, that exist in both hearing aid devices each a volume control is, when actuated, it not for a signal exchange is according to the invention, so that the gain can be set separately for both hearing aid devices, what a different hearing loss of both ears of a wearing the hearing aid user account. More controls such as the input selector switch for microphone or Auditory coil, the tone controls or the program switch are distributed according to the invention on both hearing aids. The Operating one of the last operating results thus a simultaneous adjustment of both hearing aids.
Another embodiment of the invention, all to install controls on only one of the two hearing aids, resulting in a very low-cost variant and in the hearing aid without controls a very small Design allows.
Another variant of the invention the hearing aid system provides that at least some of the control elements Choice is whether in a actuation of these controls an adaptation of the other hearing aid. Such adjustments may for example during the Programming the hearing aid system are determined. This increases the number of possible applications for Hearing Systems according to the invention, while reducing the Device variants. For example, according to the invention one and the same hearing aid for a hearing aid wearer with same on both sides pronounced auditory weakness are used, the volume control only one of the two changing hearing aids wishes and this change then on both hearing aids affects alike. Further, the same hearing aid device also at a Wearers with varying degrees of hearing weakness are used, the volume of both devices individually adapt wishes.
One inventive solution to the stated object, a hearing aid system to simplify regarding his hearing aids, is further characterized in that only one of the two Hearing aid signal processing means comprises that from the microphone of this hearing aid and the microphone second hearing aid received and at the first hearing aid processing transmitted audio signals, said processed Audio signals own handset or to a transfer processed audio signals to the second hearing aid device this the handset of the second Hörghilfegerätes fed are. According to the invention such a hearing aid system with Hearing aid devices with simplified signal processing units usable.
Processing by the microphones of both hearing aids recorded audio signals in only a signal processing unit offers besides the smaller size of the two Hearing aid devices other benefits. So be prepared by the common processing of both hearing aid devices recorded audio signals spatial hearing and the suppression of noise significantly improve. About that hi ager by eliminating a signal processing unit in one of the hearing aids and cost savings possible. The outer structure of the relevant hearing aid can be and also correspondingly smaller and lighter Power usage drops, whereby the capacity and thus the Magnitude of the voltage source can be adjusted accordingly.
According to a further variant of the invention is carried out for the received by the respective microphones of the hearing aid Audio signals first signal preprocessing before a common signal processing unit are supplied. This signal preprocessing includes, for example AD conversion with band-pass filtering.
Accordingly, in one embodiment, the processed Audio signals of the respective hearing aid post-processed, before being fed to the headphones. This signal post for example, includes a DA conversion and Gain.
The desire for the smallest possible designs of hearing aids can be realized in accordance with the invention is best, that the predominant part of the operating elements of the hearing aid system is not mounted on the hearing aid device, which the means for signal processing of the two microphones having received audio signals. Since in this hearing aid the opposite remaining signal processing unit the signal processing unit of the other hearing aid much smaller and less powerful is, is for less space. As a further consequence the energy consumption of this hearing aid considerably thereby lessening the power source for downsizing can be. By these effects, the elevated Space required for the larger number of controls on this Hearing aid compensated. Overall, this makes the Reduce design of both hearing aids.
For transmitting the audio and / or control signals between the hearing aid devices, these appropriate means for Transmitting and / or receiving such signals. There are all the usual methods for the transmission feasible. So looks a variant of the invention, a wired transmission and another variant a drahltlose transmission, for example, in the form of electromagnetic waves before. After Invention may be in the transmitted signals both involve analog as well as digital signals.
Particularly simple and cost is carried out according to the invention the exchange of audio and / or control signals via at any means of hearing aids located to send and / or receiving of these signals in conjunction with one Telecoil as inductive in conventional hearing aids for Recording magnetic information signals already exists is. This involves the use of additional components is to Embodiment of the invention limited to a minimum. additionally for transmitting and / or receiving said audio and / or control signals according to the invention or for transmitting useful signals, can via the telecoil and wireless programming or remote control of the hearing aid devices occur.
