Electrically propelled vehicle
Abstract
The electrically propelled motorcycle has the battery fitted in a housing that is removably attached to the frame of the motorcycle. The battery housing (10) is rigid and contributes to the rigidity of the chassis (2). The battery is attached to the chassis by pivoting bolts (11), with a lock to ensure they do not work loose.

The present invention relates to an electric-powered vehicle.
More particularly, although not exclusively, the invention relates to a vehicle with two or three wheels (including scooter type) electric propulsion. Specifically, the energy used to power the vehicle electrical low voltage type supplied by batteries embedded.
Until now, the materials supplied by this type of energy are generally made in the form of a metal structure in which are housed batteries, commonly known structure " frame ". In addition, batteries are trapped in the dressing vehicle and are not directly accessible.
In addition, the weight of the batteries, which is still important, requires chassis strengthening. In terms of use, the batteries are charged by the sector, a defined voltage, via a charger, usually integrated into the vehicle. Therefore, as soon as the batteries are discharged, the vehicle is stationary time of the charge.
The present invention aims to avoid these drawbacks.
For this purpose, the electrically propelled vehicle, comprising at two wheels, a chassis, and embedded power supply means into electrical energy, is noteworthy, according to the invention, in that said means for supplying electrical energy are housed in a structure rigid adapted to be removably attached to said frame by contributing to the overall rigidity of the latter.
In particular, in the case of a vehicle having at least two wheels connected by a frame, especially scooter type, said structure rigid is a housing at least substantially rectangular able to be fixed under the framework.
Thus, with this design, it is possible:

optimize the implementation of the frame (or frame)

to take tensile stresses, bending or compression of the frame,

to make easily interchangeable supply means energy, including batteries, and therefore to avoid vehicle immobilization.

Advantageously, said housing has on each side face thereof, a footrest.
Particularly in the case of a scooter, the housing assembly-batteries becomes a combined several functions:

rigidity of the frame,

maintenance of block batteries,

battery protection,

footrest for the driver,

aesthetic element of the vehicle.

Moreover, such a design allows the integration of several types of batteries in the same case.
Furthermore, the fixing of said housing to said frame can be ensured by screw fastening means, by fitting or by latching.
In the first case, said screw fastening means comprises, one hand, a fork and, on the other hand, a pivoting bolt, the nut is to be clamped on said yoke.
In the second case, said fixing means by engagement comprise, on the one hand, a lug and, on the other hand, a hinged latch to fit onto said pin.
In the third case, said locking fastening means comprise, on the one hand, a fork and, on the other hand, a pin, a rod, provided with a stop and a bore being intended to pass through bores Correspondents said yoke and, passing under the lug, to fix this last said screed with a cotter pin through said hole of said rod.
The figures of the appended drawing will elucidate the invention may be embodied. In these figures, identical references denote similar elements.
FIG 1 schematically illustrates a two-wheeled vehicle, of the scooter type, the housing receiving the batteries, not assembled frame of the vehicle.
2 is a figure similar to Figure 1 showing the housing assembled and fixed to the vehicle frame.
3A, 3B illustrate, respectively in position before assembly of the housing assembly, batteries and frame assembly position, the first screw fastening means.
4A, 4B illustrate, respectively in position before assembly the battery-box set to the frame and in the assembled position, second means of fixing by fitting.
5A, 5B show, forward position respectively assembly of the housing assembly, batteries and frame assembly position, third locking fastening means.
Figures 1 and 2, there is shown schematically a vehicle two-wheeled scooter type electric propulsion according the invention.
The vehicle 1 comprises, as is usual, a chassis (or frame) 2, connecting the two front wheels 3 and rear 4, by means of a 5 front suspension and a rear suspension 6, respectively. As purely indicative, handlebars and saddle are designated by references more Digital 7 and 8, respectively.
The vehicle 1 has, furthermore, on-board means electric power supply 9, including batteries housed in a housing 10 at least substantially rectangular able to be fixed under the frame 2 by fixing means 11, some examples of embodiment will be described in detail below.
In addition, the housing 10 has, on each lateral face 10A, 10B thereof, a footrest 12.
Figures 1 and 2 illustrate the ease of installation and removal of the housing assembly, battery, and, particularly Figure 2, integration of this assembly to the frame (or frame) 2, participating in the various functions of the latter, as already indicated above.
3A, 3B illustrate, respectively in position before assembly of the housing assembly, batteries and frame assembly position, first securing means 11 by screwing.
In this case, the first fixing means 11 comprise, one hand, a yoke 13 fixed to the frame 2, and, secondly, a bolt 14 pivoting on a pin 15 fixed to the housing 10 by tabs 16. The clamping the nut 17 of the bolt 14 on the yoke 13, after pivoting of the latter (Figure 3B), allows the attachment of housing 10 to the frame 2. It is understood that such means 11 are advantageously provided to ensure four Housing attachment points to the frame, and the clevis 13 and the bolt 14 could also be provided on the housing 10 and the frame 2, respectively.
4A, 4B illustrate, respectively before assembly in positron of the housing assembly, batteries and frame assembly position, second fixing means 11 by interlocking.
In this case, the second fixing means 11 comprise, one hand, a lug 18 secured to the housing 10 and, secondly, a latch 19 articulated to fit on the lug 18, attached to the frame 2. The pivoting of latch 19 and its interlocking to the pin (Figure 4B) allows the fixing of housing 10 to the frame 2. It is understood that such means 11 are advantageously provided to ensure four-point mounting screws the frame, and that the lug 18 and latch 19 could also be provided on part 2 and the housing 10, respectively.
5A, 5B illustrate, respectively in position before assembly of the housing assembly, batteries and frame assembly position, the third fixing means 11 by locking.
In this case, the third fixing means 11 comprise, one hand, a yoke 20 fixed to the frame 2 and, secondly, a lug 18 attached to the housing 10, a rod 21 provided with an abutment 22 and a bore 23, being intended to pass through corresponding holes 24 of the clevis 20 and, passing under the lug 18 (Figure 5B), to attach it to the fork 20 with a cotter pin 25 through the hole 23. As before, it is understood that such means 11 are advantageously four points provided to ensure housing fastening the frame, and the fork 20 and the lug 18 could also be provided on the housing 10 and part 2, respectively.
