    Radiation-sensitive planographic printing plate precursor comprising a photosensitive layer containing a product which is obtainable by hydrolytic polymerization of a hydrolytic polymerizable compound represented by the following formula (1):(R 11 ) n - X - (OR 12 ) 4-n      (1) wherein R 11 and R 12 , which may be the same or different, each represents an alkyl group or an aryl group;X represents Si, Ti, or Zr;and n represents an integer from 0 to 2, and/or one or more compounds selected from trimethoxy aluminate, triethoxy aluminate, tripropoxy aluminate, chlorotrimethoxy titanate, chlorotriethoxy titanate, chlorotrimethoxy zirconate, chlorotriethoxy zirconate, trimethoxy silane, triethoxy silane, and tripropoxy silane in the presence of a compound having at least one functional group (a-1) that is selected from among a sulfonic acid ester group, a disulfone group, a sufonimide group, and an alkoxyalkyl ester group.

    Radiation-sensitive planographic printing plate precursor according to Claim 1, wherein the compound having the functional group (a-1) further has at least one functional group (a-2) that is selected from among -OH, -NH 2 , -COOH, -NH-CO-R a23 , and -Si(OR a24 ) 3 , wherein R a23 and R a24 each represents an alkyl group or an aryl group and wherein R a23 and R a24 may be the same or different in cases in which both R a23 and R a24 are present in the compound.

    Radiation-sensitive planographic printing plate precursor according to Claim 1 or 2, wherein the photosensitive layer further contains a plurality of water-insoluble particles.

    Radiation-sensitive planographic printing plate precursor of Claim 3, wherein surfaces of a plurality of the water-insoluble particles are covered by a composition having the hydrolytic polymerization product, thereby adhering portions of the water-insoluble particles with each other and forming a photosensitive layer having voids.

    Radiation-sensitive planographic printing plate precursor of Claim 3, wherein said water-insoluble particles are selected from among inorganic particles, organic particles, and metal particles.

    Radiation-sensitive planographic printing plate precursor according to Claim 3, wherein the water-insoluble particles have a light-heat conversion action of converting the energy of radiation to heat and a characteristic of initiating a self exothermic reaction using the heat as a trigger.

    Radiation-sensitive planographic printing plate precursor of Claim 6, wherein the particles having a light-heat conversion action of converting the energy of radiation to heat and have a characteristic of initiating a self exothermic reaction using the heat as a trigger are particles comprising at least one kind of metal or, at least one kind of metal and at least one kind of metal compound selected from among metal oxides, metal nitrides, metal sulfides, and metal carbides.

    Radiation-sensitive planographic printing plate precursor, comprising a photosensitive layer containing a product which is obtainable by hydrolytic polymerization of a hydrolytic polymerizable compound represented by the following formula (1-S):(R 1s2 ) 1 (OR 1s3 ) 3-1 - Si - L - (SO 3 R 1s1 ) m      (1-S) wherein, R 1s1 represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, or a cyclic imide group;R 1s2 and R 1s3 , which may be the same or different, each represents an alkyl group or an aryl group;L represents a divalent organic linkage group;1 represents an integer from 0 to 2;and m represents 1.

    Radiation-sensitive planographic printing plate precursor according to Claim 8, wherein the photosensitive layer contains a product which is obtainable by hydrolytic polymerization of:(i) the hydrolytic polymerizable compound represented by following formula (1):         (R 11 ) n - X - (OR 12 ) 4-n      (1) wherein R 11 and R 12 , which may be the same or different, each represents an alkyl group or an aryl group;X represents Si, Ti, or Zr;and n represents an integer from 0 to 2 and/or one or more compounds selected from trimethoxy aluminate, triethoxy aluminate, tripropoxy aluminate, chlorotrimethoxy titanate, chlorotriethoxy titanate, chlorotrimethoxy zirconate, chlorotriethoxy zirconate, trimethoxy silane, triethoxy silane, and tripropoxy silane;and (ii) the hydrolytic polymerizable compound represented by the formula (1-S).

    Radiation-sensitive planographic printing plate precursor according to Claim 6, wherein the water-insoluble particles, which have a light-heat conversion action of converting the energy of radiation to heat and a characteristic of initiating a self-exothermic reaction using the heat as a trigger, comprise at least one kind of metal or, at least one kind of metal compound selected from among metal oxides, metal nitrides, metal sulfides, and metal carbides.

    Radiation-sensitive planographic printing plate precursor of Claim 3, wherein the water-insoluble particles are surface-modified particles wherein, a group (s) that changes from a hydrophobic property to a hydrophilic property due to radiation or heat, bonds to a solid particle surface thereof.

    Radiation-sensitive planographic printing plate precursor of Claim 11, wherein the group that changes from a hydrophobic property to a hydrophilic property due to radiation or heat is a group represented by the following formula (2):L - SO 3 R 21      (2) wherein, R 21 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, or a cyclic imide group;and L represents a divalent organic linkage group which bonds to the solid particle surface.

    Radiation-sensitive planographic printing plate precursor of Claim 11, wherein said surface-modified particles are cross-linked with a cross-linking agent.

    Planographic printing plate obtainable by thermal recording or laser-irradiation of the radiation-sensitive planographic printing plate precursor according to any one of Claims 1 to 13.
