The present invention relates to a holder for a surgical Instrument by the surgical instrument a fast shutter coupled, according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such generic holder are known from DE 39 34 610 A1 known. When thinking of a grater blade cutter as a surgical Instrument, with which the natural acetabulum to the preparation of prepared implantation of a metal base of an artificial hip joint is, thus, for example, a bayonet known, lands in the equatorial plane of the blade through the bayonet when locking are covered. The closure is spring biased so that the closure can always only be opened against the spring force. Especially when Preparation of the acetabulum for implantation of a metal base of a artificial hip joint is the exchange between different sizes of Raffel cutter blade necessary. Normally, with the smallest blade started the milling and size gradually, for example, in seven Levels increased to the maximum. This means on the one hand that the Coupling and uncoupling of the holder of the instrument for the Surgeon must proceed easily. Moreover, but must the Instrument and the holder to be cleaned after the operation. To this end, it appears in the known apparatus as a disadvantage that it is not without Another can be dismantled into its individual parts, the then relatively unproblematic can be purified.
Another proposal is that the holder at its coupling end is provided with a relatively large base plate, according to the trained instruments can be set. A simple locking device to the blade lock on the base plate. It turns out to be problematic out that the frictional connection and positive connection between holder and blade is not large enough to meet the high loads that occur during for reaming the acetabulum permanently withstand.
Further holders for surgical instruments are known from the rest of US 5,222,956 A, US 5,171,312, EP 0642770 A2.
Before outlined background, it is now the object of the present Invention to provide a generic holder easy to open and is close and can be easily dismantled and therefore easy to clean.
This object is achieved in that the undercuts of a Cavity in the instrument cross bars as part of a double-Kreuzstegess are formed.
The instrument has a coupling element via a cavity strained, the Undercut forming webs. Particularly when the instrument shows Raffel cutter blade, the cavity is formed by the hemispherical Inner cap of the mill. The webs are then located approximately in the equatorial plane tensioned.
The correspondingly formed Raffel cutter blade as a tool in the aforementioned combination is preferably further developed such that the web a Double cross dock in the equatorial plane. Through the mine opening of Double cross web of the holder is guided during the coupling of the instrument and the actuating member while its actuated such that the mandrel in Inside the sleeve does not intervene between the balls. In the end position of the distal end holder is then released the actuator, whereupon the above-mentioned spring makes sure that the mandrel in the direction of the ball cage is forced to engage between the balls and to lock in such a way that the balls the holder due to the background grasping the undercuts the double cross dock safely lock.
According to a preferred embodiment it is provided that the holder in the essentially of a sleeve is, in de ren inside a mandrel axially is displaceably mounted, wherein the mandrel in the advanced position the balls locked in a provided at the distal end of the holder housing cage. For this purpose, the mandrel moves at its distal end between the Balls and pushes them apart, so that the balls of the projected beyond the outlines Cage housing protrude partially so on behind the undercuts grab tool. Moreover, are the thorn in his balls retracted position free, so that they fall into the interior of the cage housing or can be pressed when the balls by the narrowing at the Undercuts are led out of the instrument. The thorn in Inside the sleeve must therefore means of an actuator in the axial direction can be moved so far that he is having at the locking balls its distal end between the balls and pushes the other hand, in the other direction can be slid, so that the mandrel no longer engages between the balls.
Preferably, the holder is in the form of a sleeve at the rear end by means of a sleeve closed by the sleeve preferably has an external thread and the sleeve having a corresponding internal thread. This arrangement can take easily apart again when namely the Socket outward turning an Allen screw for a so-called having AO-key, is which widely used in the medical field.
Preferably, a further development in which between the mandrel and the Bush a spiral spring is used, the mandrel in the direction of advanced position biases. Thus, when the sleeve with the sleeve is closed, the spring pushes the mandrel toward the balls with the Tendency to drive between them and to arrest that. This has in practice the advantage that the operator in case of non actuation of an actuating organ, can be sure that the instrument is locked at the distal end of the holder.
As an actuating member is preferably a sleeve through an oblong hole through cross threaded bolts provided the appropriate with a Threaded bore in the mandrel is screwed. Also, the threaded bolt can outward again have a hexagon socket for an AO-key.
In a simple way, the holder according to the invention can be disassembled after use are, namely, for example, by first removed the threaded bolt is that mimic inside the sleeve, so the mandrel, the spring and the Jack are removed and finally the balls through the sleeve be transported to the outside. The items can then be cleaned and in reverse order in a simple manner also again are joined together.
The invention is explained in more detail using an exemplary embodiment. In the drawing:

figure 1

the holder with coupled surgical instrument, on average,

figure 2

the individual parts of the holder, and

figure 3

the view of the underside to a surgical Instrument, with the holder of Figures 1 and 2 can be coupled.

Hereinafter, like parts are provided with the same reference numerals.
In the present case consists of the holder 1 of a sleeve 6. In the interior of a Dorn 7 axially displaceably. carried out the operation of the mandrel 7 present by an actuator in the form of a threaded bolt 14, the engages through a long hole 13 in the sleeve 6 and with the threaded bore 15 is screwed into the mandrel. 6 The movement of the threaded bolt 14 in Figure 1 effected to the right, that the distal end 21 of the mandrel 7 is disengaged comes with the balls 4, that of an essential part make quick closure. 3 At the distal end 9 of the sleeve 6 is the Cage housing 8 is formed, in which the balls are trapped 4th
At the other end, the sleeve 6 is formed by a in the interior of the sleeve 6 threaded bolt 11 is closed. Between the pin 11 and the mandrel 7 in this case is a coil spring 12 is inserted, onto the mandrel 7 in direction the cage casing 8 pretensions. Lets the user person now to the tension of the spring 12 threaded bolt 14 to get rid of, so ensure that shifted the threaded bolt 14 with the mandrel 7 in Figure 1 to the left be such that the distal end 21 of the mandrel 7 between the balls 4 suppressed and this so tries to squeeze out of the ball housing. 8 This but does not succeed due to the cage situation. Rather, the balls 4 locked in position. This they fall permanently behind the Undercuts 5 on the instrument. 2
The undercuts 5 are formed by webs 17 in the equatorial plane of embodied as Raffel cutter blade instrument 2. The webs engage here via the cavity 16 of the instrument.
The human operator needs to change the instrument meet only the force of the spring 12, the threaded bolt 14 in Figure 1 to the right to press, after which the holder 1 is easily the instrument 2 removable.
To remove the holder for cleaning purposes, it is present only necessary, first of all the provided with an external thread 19 of sleeve 11 the bore with the internal thread 20 in the sleeve 6 of unscrewing. This purpose is served in the bush 11 an ordinary Allen screw 22 for a so-called AO-key. may After unscrewing the bush 11 the spring 12 are removed. The threaded bolt 14 also has a Allen screw 23 for the AO-key on. After removal of the The threaded bolt 14, the mandrel can be removed from the interior of the sleeve 6 will. Finally, the balls 4 can through the interior of the sleeve 6 from the rear end 10 of the sleeve 6 are removed. The assembly according to the Purification is carried out in a simple manner in reverse order.
In conclusion, on the view of the underside of the surgical Instrument 2 noted in FIG. 3 Here encroach webs 17 a Cavity 16 thereby forming the instrument 2. The webs 17, Undercuts 5 behind which the balls 4 of the holder 1 in the locked State access and so for the secure attachment of the instrument 2 am Holder 1 worry. In the present case, the webs are part of 17 Double Cross web 18. Through the opening 24 is shown in Embodiment, the front end of the holder 1 is pushed so far that the balls 4 grip behind the webs 17th
