0009More adhesive film strips of this type are in <b>WO 95/06691</b>, <b>DE 43 39 604 A1</b>, <b>DE 44 28 587 A1</b> and <b>DE 44 31 914 A1</b> described, and a corresponding suspension device in <b>DE 195 11 288 A1</b>.

0010However, the adhesive systems shown in the aforementioned publications also had a number of disadvantages:<ul id="ul0001" list-style="dash"><li>In order to be able to detach the adhesive film from the adhesive joint, some of the adhesive must emerge from it in the form of a handle. The adhesive film is thus not necessarily completely invisible when non-flexible objects are bonded, but the handle is visible, which can appear optically disadvantageous and, when using materials which age under the influence of light, can also lead to technical problems.</li><li>When gluing, it can easily happen that the entire adhesive film, including the handle, disappears in the adhesive joint. This can happen to laypersons in particular if they do not place a section of such an adhesive film on the edge of the substrate in such a way that a handle protrudes and then protrudes from the adhesive joint. When releasing the bond, good advice is then expensive and destruction of at least one substrate can result.</li><li>If the adhesive film tears during the detachment process and a torn adhesive film part remains completely in the adhesive joint, a residue-free separation of the bonded materials without destroying the bonding partners is usually no longer possible, which can cause considerable damage.</li></ul>
