Method and device for movement correction and positioning

Abstract

The present invention relates to a method and a device for correction of the movements of a suspension device (9a) and positioning thereof in a fluid. The suspension device (9a) is provided with a first and a second end, and the first end is suspended from a point (S). A correction device (13) is arranged at the second end of the suspension device (9a) and adapted to generate a force which provides an acceleration in the fluid such that the position of the second end of the suspension device (9a) is corrected. <IMAGE>

10 claims: 6 independent, 4 dependent

  1. 1
A method for movement correction of a suspension device (9a) and positioning thereof in a fluid, wherein the suspension device (9a) is provided with a first and a second end where the first end is suspended from a point (S), characterized in that in a correction device (13), arranged at the second end of the suspension device (9a), a force is generated which provides an acceleration in the fluid such that the position of the second end of the suspension device (9a) is corrected.
  2. 4
A device for movement correction of a suspension device (9a) and positioning thereof in a fluid, wherein the suspension device (9a) is provided with a first and a second end where the first end is suspended from a point (S), characterized in that it comprises a correction device (13) with at least one correction member (14, 16) which is adapted to generate an acceleration in the fluid for the purpose of correcting the position of the second end of the suspension device (9a).
  3. 7
A device according to any of claims 4-6, characterized in that it is adapted for transport of suspended loads in a nuclear power plant.
  4. 8
A device according to any of claims 4-7, characterized in that it is adapted for transport in water of fuel assemblies (4) and/or control rods (11) between a nuclear reactor vessel (1) and a fuel pool (3).
  5. 9
A device according to any of claims 4-8, characterized in that at least one correction member (14, 16, 18) is designed as a propeller device (14) or a nozzle means (18).
  6. 10
A device according to any of claims 4-9, characterized in that the correction members (14, 16, 18) are adapted to be controllable independently of each other.
