Method to purify the exhaust gas of Diesel engines
Abstract
For a process for exhaust gas purification in diesel engines by means of at least one catalyst and a soot filter is proposed for safe ignition of the deposited in the filter, substantially dry soot, that an additional fuel up to a predetermined catalyst temperature above its light-off temperature controlled in such amount / is added regulated that in the soot filter Rußbefeuchtung is achieved by liquid or condensed fuel.
