    A process for producing a filter element, the filter element comprising:- a bundle of hollow fibre type asymmetric separation membranes (1) made of a natural or synthetic macromolecular material having a respective melting or decomposition temperature, the membranes having a smooth skin layer on an inner surface thereof and a finely jogging support layer on an outer surface thereof, said bundle having an opening in at least one terminal part thereof;and a watertightly sealed part (2) made of a thermoplastic resin bonded to said bundle, said resin being of a material that has a lower melting temperature than the melting or decomposition temperature of the macromolecular material, characterised in that the process comprises:- placing both said macromolecular material and said thermoplastic resin in an atmosphere at a fusing temperature that is not higher than the melting or decomposing temperature of said macromolecular material and that is higher than the melting temperature of said thermoplastic resin, such that entry of the molten thermoplastic resin into the heated but non-molten finely jogging support layer is facilitated;andcooling the materials so as to bond them together, thereby forming said watertightly sealed part (2). Processus pour produire un élément de filtre, l'élément de filtre comprenant : un faisceau de membranes de séparation asymétriques (1) du type fibre creuse faites d'un matériau macromoléculaire naturel ou synthétique ayant une température de fusion ou de décomposition respective, les membranes ayant une couche de peau lisse sur leur surface intérieure et une couche de support finement inégale sur leur surface extérieure, ledit faisceau ayant une ouverture dans au moins une partie d'extrémité de celui-ci ;et une partie étanche à l'eau (2) faite d'une résine thermoplastique collée sur ledit faisceau, ladite résine étant d'un matériau qui a une température de fusion inférieure à la température de fusion ou de décomposition du matériau macromoléculaire, caractérisé en ce que le processus comprend : placer à la fois ledit matériau macromoléculaire et ladite résine thermoplastique dans une atmosphère à une température de fusion qui n'est pas supérieure à la température de fusion ou de décomposition dudit matériau macromoléculaire et qui est supérieure à la température de fusion de ladite résine thermoplastique, de telle manière que l'entrée de la résine thermoplastique fondue dans la couche de support finement inégale chauffée mais non fondue est facilitée ;refroidir les matériaux de façon à les coller ensemble, formant ainsi ladite partie étanche à l'eau (2). Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Filterelements, wobei das Filterelement umfasst: ein Bündel von hohlfaserartigen asymmetrischen Trennmembranen (1), die aus einem natürlichen oder synthetischen markomolekularen Material hergestellt sind, das eine entsprechende Schmelz- oder Zersetzungstemperatur aufweist, wobei die Membrane eine glatte Hautschicht auf einer inneren Oberfläche derselben und eine leicht unebene Trägerschicht auf einer äußeren Oberfläche derselben aufweisen, wobei das Bündel in wenigstens einem Anschlussteil desselben eine Öffnung aufweist;undeinen wasserdicht abgedichteten Teil (2), der aus einem thermoplastischen Harz hergestellt ist, das an das Bündel gebunden ist, wobei das Harz aus einem Material besteht, das eine niedrigere Schmelztemperatur als die Schmelz- oder Zersetzungstemperatur des makromolekularen Materials hat,dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Verfahren umfasst: Anordnen sowohl des makromolekularen Materials als auch des thermoplastischen Harzes in einer Atmosphäre bei einer Schmelztemperatur, die nicht höher als die Schmelz-oder Zersetzungstemperatur des makromolekularen Materials ist und die höher als die Schmelztemperatur des thermoplastischen Harzes ist, so dass ein Eintritt des geschmolzenen thermoplastischen Harzes in die erwärmte, aber nicht geschmolzene leicht unebene Trägerschicht unterstützt wird;undKühlen der Materialien, um diese aneinander zu binden, wodurch der wasserdicht abgedichtete Teil (2) hergestellt wird.

    A process according to claim 1, wherein the melting point of the said thermoplastic resin is not less than 20 degrees Celsius less than the said melting or decomposition temperature of the said macromolecular material. Processus selon la revendication 1, dans lequel le point de fusion de ladite résine thermoplastique n'est pas inférieur à 20°c de moins que ladite température de fusion ou de décomposition dudit matériau macromoléculaire. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, bei dem der Schmelzpunkt des thermoplastischen Harzes nicht weniger als 20 Grad Celsius kleiner als die Schmelz- oder Zersetzungstemperatur des makromolekularen Materials ist.

    A process according to claim 1 or claim 2, further comprising preparing the thermoplastic resin as paste and contacting the paste with the hollow fibre membranes prior to heating. Processus selon la revendication 1 ou 2, comprenant en outre de préparer la résine thermoplastique comme une pâte et de faire entrer en contact la pâte avec les membranes de fibres creuses avant le chauffage. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder Anspruch 2, ferner umfassend, das thermoplastische Harz als Paste vorzubereiten und die Paste mit den hohlen Fasermembranen vor dem Erwärmen zu kontaktieren.

    A process according to claim 3, further comprising inserting the fibre bundle in an outer tube and contacting the paste with the fibres by injecting the paste through the outer tube ends. Processus selon la revendication 3, comprenant en outre d'insérer le faisceau de fibres dans un tube extérieur et de faire entrer en contact la pâte avec les fibres en injectant la pâte par les extrémités de tube extérieur. Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, ferner umfassend, das Faserbündel in eine äußere Röhre einzubringen und die Paste mit den Fasern in Verbindung zu bringen, indem die Paste durch die äußeren Röhrenenden injiziert wird.

    A process according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said asymmetric membranes are reverse osmosis membranes. Processus selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel lesdites membranes asymétriques sont des membranes osmotiques inverses. Verfahren nach einem der vorigen Ansprüche, bei dem die asymmetrischen Membrane Umkehrosmosemembrane sind.

    A process according to any of claims 1 to 4, wherein said asymmetric membranes are ultrafilter membranes. Processus selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, dans lequel lesdites membranes asymétriques sont des membranes ultrafiltrantes. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, bei dem die asymmetrischen Membrane Ultrafiltermembrane sind.

    A process according to any of claims 1 to 4, wherein said asymmetric membranes are gas separation membranes.     A process according to any one of claims 5 to 7, wherein said hollow fibre type separation membranes are microporous hollow fibre type separation membranes containing pores of a largest diameter in the range of 0.01 to 5 µm. Processus selon l'une quelconque des revendications 5 à 7, dans lequel lesdites membranes de séparation du type à fibres creuses sont des membranes de séparation du type à fibres creuses microporeuses contenant des pores d'un plus grand diamètre de l'ordre de 0,01 à 5 µm. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 7, bei dem die hohlfaserartigen Trennmembrane mikroporöse hohlfaserartige Trennmembrane sind, die Poren eines größten Durchmessers in dem Bereich von 0,01 bis 5 µm enthalten.

    A process according to any of claims 5 to 8, wherein said macromolecular material is one member selected from the group consisting of cellulose, cellulose ester, polysulfone, polyether sulfone, polypropylene, polyethylene, polyamide, and polyacrylonitrile. Processus selon l'une quelconque des revendications 5 à 8, dans lequel ledit matériau macromoléculaire est un élément choisi parmi le groupe consistant en la cellulose, l'ester de cellulose, le polysulfone, le polyéther sulfone, le polypropylène, le polyéthylène, le polyamide, et le polyacrylonitrile.     A process according to any one of claims 5 to 9, wherein said thermoplastic resin is one member selected from the group consisting of a polyolefin type resin, a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene with polyfluoroalkyl ethers and a fluorine type resin. Processus selon l'une quelconque des revendications 5 à 9, dans lequel ladite résine thermoplastique est un élément choisi parmi le groupe consistant en une résine du type polyoléfine, un copolymère de tétrafluoroéthylène avec des éthers de polyfluoroalkyle et une résine du type fluor.     A process according to claim 10, wherein said polyolefin type resin is one member selected from the group consisting of polyethylene and polypropylene.     A process according to claim 10, wherein said fluorine type resin is one member selected from the group consisting of polytetrafluoroethylene and fluorinated ethylene propylene.     A process according to any one of claims 5 to 12, wherein said hollow fibre type separation membranes have a length of 150 mm, manifest a flexure of not more than 65 mm at a free end thereof under their own weight when supported in the manner of a cantilever, and exhibit strength of not less than 60 gf/membrane at rupture. Processus selon l'une quelconque des revendications 5 à 12, dans lequel lesdites membranes de séparation du type à fibres creuses ont une longueur de 150 mm, présentent une flexion qui n'est pas supérieure à 65 mm à une extrémité libre de celles-ci sous leur propre poids quand il est supporté en porte-à-faux, et présente une résistance à la rupture qui n'est pas inférieure à 60 gf/membrane. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 12, bei dem die hohlfaserartigen Trennmembrane eine Länge von 150 mm aufweisen, eine Durchbiegung von nicht mehr als 65 mm an einem freien Ende derselben unter ihrem eigenen Gewicht an den Tag legen, wenn sie in der Art eines Auslegers gehalten sind, und eine Stärke von nicht weniger als 60 gf/Membran bei Bruch zeigen.
