    A mobile telephone system, for sending messages to and from mobile stations (90) comprising:a plurality of service centers (10) for sending and receiving messages to and from the mobile stations (90);and a switching center (70) for establishing a message dialog and detecting message busy conditions for a message being sent to one of the mobile stations (90) by one of said plurality of service centers (10) while a message is attempted to be sent to the one mobile station (90) by another of said service centers (10), characterized in that the switching center (70) is adapted to sequentially developing a list of each of said service centers (10) attempting to send messages to the one mobile station (90) and to develop a signal to alert the next service center (10) on said list when said message busy conditions are ended.

    A method for sending messages to and from mobile stations comprising the steps of:(a) sending and receiving messages to and from the mobile stations (90) by a plurality of service centers (10);(b) controlling messages sent by message services of said service centers (10) during a busy condition while a message is being sent by one of said service centers by compiling a waiting list of addresses for each of said service centers (10) which have attempted to send messages during said busy condition;(c) developing an alert signal after completion of sending messages to said one service center (10) and to each of said service centers (10) in said waiting list;and (d) sequentially sending said alert signal to each of said service centers (10) in said waiting list to initiate sending of messages to each of said service centers (10) in said waiting list while maintaining the same radio connection.

    A switching center for a mobile telephone system with a plurality of service centers (10) for sending and receiving messages to and from mobile stations (90);wherein the switching center (70) is adapted for establishing a message dialog and detecting message busy conditions for a message being sent to one of the mobile stations (90) by one of said plurality of service centers (10) while a message is attempted to be sent to the one mobile station (90) by another of said service centers (10), characterized in that the switching center (70) is adapted to sequentially developing a list of each of said service centers (10) attempting to send messages to the one mobile station (90) and to develop a signal to alert the next service center (10) on said list when said message busy conditions are ended.
