Method for avoiding errors when measuring or determining gas consumption by matter
Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for avoiding errors in the determination of the gas consumption of a sample arranged in a closed container. An automatic error avoidance during the adaptation phase of the sample to the temperature level in an incubator is achieved by monitoring the container pressure before the start of measurement in a test phase, and evaluating the measured values for the measurement of the gas consumption from the reference time at which the pressure change in time the container is within a predetermined range of values.
