Device for attaching the components of alarm systems
Abstract
The housing bolted to a wall (1) consists of a rear section (2) and a front section (3) screwed together (4). The bolt (8) passes through the upper part (21) of a banjo-shaped opening in the rear section, whose lower part (22) has a larger diameter than the bolt head. The position of the bolt is monitored by a switch (6) mounted on an insert (7) screwed (5) to the front section. When the housing is fitted around the protruding head of the bolt, the latter actuates a tongue (61) which instigates a remote alarm if the housing is removed by an unauthorised person.

Independent claims2
13 paragraphs, as filed
p0001The invention relates to a device for the attachment of components of alarm systems according to the preamble of claim 1.
p0002Alarm systems include components for monitoring of individual areas, for example, sensors on access doors, windows, etc., that are offset from the control panel. These sensors are usually arranged in housings and fixed to appropriate places, most walls. The fastening is carried out at known components so that the fasteners, for example screws, are not accessible when fully assembled component. For this purpose, it is necessary to open the housing in the assembly and to secure the assembled, closed case against opening.
p0003The invention is based on the object disposed in a housing component of alarm systems in such a way that the fixing can be carried out quickly and without opening the housing, wherein the components are protected against sabotage.
p0004This object is achieved on the basis of the features of the preamble of claim 1 by the characterizing features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.
p0005According to the invention, the housing rear wall has a recess, through which a fastener such as a screw can be guided. Within the housing, an arrangement for monitoring the position of the fastening means is arranged, which in particular detects a change in position of the fastening means within the housing, and an alarm signal that is preferably transmitted to the alarm center.
p0006Through the device of the invention easy attachment of components of an alarm system is possible in that the housing can be suspended by means of the recess in the fastener. As fastener screws or hooks may be used, which are anchored, for example, in a wall. The fastening means is not accessible, for example because the screw head or of the hooks project into the interior of the housing. There, an arrangement for monitoring the position of the fastening means is arranged. If a change in position or removing the cover from the fastening means an alarm signal is output, so that unauthorized removal of the component is not possible.
p0007According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the arrangement for monitoring the position of the fastening means of a switch which is operated by the recess at the implementation of the fastener. Thereby, the position, in particular the presence of the fixing means is monitored in the housing in a simple and inexpensive manner. Once the fastener is removed from the housing, ie for deliveries of the housing from the mounting location, the switch is opened again or it changes state, causing the alarm. False alarms can be avoided in that the switch is so arranged or designed so that a slight movement does not lead to a switch operation.
p0008A further advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the arrangement for monitoring the position of the fastening means is disposed indirectly or directly on the inside of the housing front wall. When opening the case, the relative position of the position monitoring arrangement changed for the fastener and it is recognized to open the housing and leads to the alarm signal.
p0009Furthermore, it has proved advantageous to the housing to be designed so that it can be opened only in the non-attached state. This can be achieved for example, by removing the screws which hold the housing parts, are accessible only from the rear housing wall.
p0010The invention with reference to an embodiment shown in Figures 1 and 2 will be explained. Show it:

Figure 1:

a cross-section of the device according to the invention and

Figure 2:

the recess in the front view.

p0011The housing in which is arranged a component of a security system, for example a sensor for surveillance which is not shown in the figure, consists of a housing rear wall 2 and a housing front wall 3 which are connected by means of a screw 4th The back wall 2 has a recess 21, 22, can be passed through the fastening means 8, in the present case a screw. As shown in Figure 2 visible, 22, the recess 21, a lower part 22, whose diameter is larger than the head of the fed through bolt 8, and an upper part 21 whose diameter is smaller than the screw head and larger than the diameter of the shaft the screw 8 is. The screw 8 is, for example, screwed into a wall 1, wherein the screw head has a distance from the wall. 1 The housing 2, 3 is fastened to the screw by the lower part 22 of the recess on the head of the screw is guided 8 and then the casing is lowered, so that the shank of the screw 8 is the recess in the area of the upper part 21st Inside the housing, a switch 6 is arranged with a switch tongue 61 according to the embodiment. The switch is located within the housing such that when hanging the housing of the head of the screw actuates the switch tongue 61st At purchase of the housing by an unauthorized person, an alarm signal is output. Here preferably a corresponding signal is sent to the alarm center. In case of acceptance of the case by the user, an alarm can be suppressed by the alarm system is completely or only the component disarmed concerning.
p0012The switch 6, 61 may be mounted either directly on the housing front wall or if the dimensions of the housing does not allow, by means of an insert 7 and a fastener be 5 connected to the housing front wall.
p0013Through the inventive device components of an alarm system can be quickly and therefore cost attached and removed, for example for service purposes, the protection against unauthorized removal of the component relative to known solutions was increased.
