Switch for opening a door
Abstract
The switch has a tubular housing (1) contg. an axially movable button (10) for actuating a switching element attached to the housing. The button can be depressed against a restoring force (19). The housing has a radially protruding bracket (2) between its front and rear ends. The front and rear surfaces of the bracket form stop surfaces which define the distance of the end surface (9) of the housing from the front side of its mounting plate (31). The housing exterior is bounded by a radially symmetrical, pref. cylindrical casing.

p0001The present invention relates to a door opener switch according to the preamble of claims 1 and 5. FIG.
p0002Door opener switches require a large-scale Lens with a small switching path and a very flat construction. To achieve this known switch with electronic switching elements are provided, but they are sensitive to voltage spikes; Such spikes are, however, often in the networks of public transport, such as railways, trams, trolley buses, etc., and cause damage to the switches or to interfere with the door operator.
p0003The present invention therefore has as its object to provide a flat door opening switch with a mechanical switching element and having a large surface pressure hood whose visible side also within wide limits is aesthetically designed.
p0004According to the invention this object is achieved by the characterizing features of claims 1 or. 5
p0005With the accompanying schematic drawing, the invention is explained, for example. Show it:

Fig. 1

a longitudinal section through a door opening switch which is inserted from the rear in a mounting plate and

FIG. 2

a similar view to FIG. 1, in which the door switch is inserted from the front in a mounting plate and covered with a rosette.

p0006The switch includes a tubular housing 1 which is divided by a radially outwardly projecting away, axial to the longitudinal axis A of the building, the flange-like collar 2 into a front portion 3 and a rear portion in the fourth The outer sides of the portions 3 and 4 form the housing axis A cylindrical casing surfaces, wherein the diameter of the lateral surface of the front portion 3 may be slightly larger than that of the lateral surface of the rear portion of the fourth On the inside of the housing 1 forms a concentric to its longitudinal axis A annular rib 5. This forms a substantially cylindrical, koachsiale to switch the longitudinal axis of the guide surface 6, in which a pressure hood support 7 is axially displaceable and, thanks to radial play tiltably mounted around each transverse axis. With the push button carrier 7 a pressure hood 8 of larger diameter is integral, whose visible side is flush in the drawn rest position with the front end 9 of the housing. 1 The pressure hood 8 and the push button carrier 7 form a key 10, which is connected by means of an elastic annular membrane 11 movable with the housing. 1 The back of the annular rib 5 further forms a stop surface 14 on which a circuit board 15, by rivets 23, free from backlash. The circuit board 15 carries a mechanical switching element 18 with a spring-loaded actuator cam 19 and a with respect to the housing axis off-center pivot bearing 20 for a lever 21st
p0007The key 10 is 19 one hand axially pressed into the housing 1 and / or conditionally tilted against the resiliently elastic restoring force of the operating cam by the radial play transversely to the housing longitudinal axis A.
p0008Next is the annular rib 5 on its lower radially distributed symmetrically a orE several stop surfaces 12 abut against the action of the translated by the lever 21 return force of the actuating cam 19 radially outwardly projecting stops 13 of the push button carrier 7 when the button 10 is in its rest position. Here, the restoring force of the actuating cam 19 may be superimposed on the reaction force of the elastically deformed diaphragm ring eleventh
p0009The back of the housing 1 is closed by an end cap 17 which is fixed with detents 16 positively on the housing. 1 The housing 1 is preferably designed as a pull-out protection for the connecting cable.
p0010The lever 21 is mounted with a spherical projection 22 in the ball socket of the swivel bearing 20 and rests with its end 24 on the actuating cam 19. The projection 22 and the pivot 20 form a ball or universal joint. Between the pressure hood 8 and the lever 21 extends diametrically a the push button carrier 7 mounted leaf spring 25, against the lever 21 with a rounded, to the housing axis A koachsialen cam 26 bears. The cam 26 forms a pivot axis for the key 10 and is located between the pivot bearing 20 and the lever end 24, the ratio a / b is selected the levers so that the preset for Lens 8 Switch travel only a fraction of likewise predetermined switching path of the operating cam 19 is. When switching element 18 therefore, a commercially available, proven, mechanical micro switches are used.
p0011The stroke of the button 10 is limited by the annular rib 5, which engages between the stops 13 on the one hand and an existing at the pressure hood rear annular rib 27 on the other. By this Hubwegbegrenzung the button 10 protects the leaf spring 25, whose spring travel is greater than the maximum stroke, the switching member 18 in front of a mechanical overload when an excessively large force acts on the pressure hood eighth The on the cam 26 applied force is simply the product of the distance traveled by the pressure hood 8 stroke and the spring constant of the leaf spring 25; it is up to the operating cam 19 nor reduces the lever arm ratio a / b accordingly.
p0012Hence the pressure hood 8 at any point can be executed with a comparatively large diameter and operated at substantially the same force as mentioned the push button carrier 7 with play within the annular rib 5 is mounted so that the button 10 not only axially relative to the housing 1 and the lever 21 slidably but also to each to its longitudinal axis oriented transversely, by the cam 26 and the universal joint 20, 22 formed axis tilted. Now acts an actuation force to the pressure edge of the hood, thus remains on the opposite side of the pressure hood 8 of the stop 13 into engagement with the stop surface 12 and forms a pivot axis about which the pressure hood 8 pivots and the 26 attached to the cam leaf spring 25 the lever 21 depresses.
p0013If the housing 1 of transparent, preferably glass-clear material, the printed circuit board 15 may be provided with a concentric to the housing axis A diode ring 28 which illuminates the circular end face 9 of the switch and improves the visibility of the pressure hood 8 for a user or him of the operating state switch signals. The diodes of the diode ring 28 are in corresponding recesses 29 in the housing. 1
p0014In Fig. 1, the switch from the rear clearance inserted into a bore 30 of a dot-dashed mounting plate 31. Thus, the front end 9 of the housing 1 is flush with the front, the forward-looking and fitting from behind against the mounting plate 31 face 32 of the collar 2 is set back by the thickness "d" of the mounting plate 31 behind the end face 9 and the collar 2 of screwed rear by screws 33 against the mounting plate 31st If necessary, the distance between the surface 32 and the end face 9 of the thickness "d" of the mounting plate 31 by the insertion of spacers between the collar 2 and the mounting plate to be adjusted 31st
p0015In the type of installation shown in FIG. 2, the housing 1 is inserted from the front 31 in a bore 30 of a mounting plate and screwed with the back surface 34 of the collar 2 opposite the front side of the mounting plate 31. The collar 2 is covered by a non-releasably latched with him rosette 35 that is aesthetically desired, Artwork and enhanced by their shape or color, the visibility of the pressure hood. 8
