Abstract

A liquid ejecting method includes providing a liquid ejection outlet; providing a first liquid flow path for first liquid in fluid communication with the liquid ejection outlet; providing a second liquid flow path for second liquid, adjacent to the first liquid flow path; providing a separation wall having a movable member between the first liquid flow path and the second liquid flow path; and ejecting, by displacement of the movable member toward the first liquid flow path, liquid which is a mixture of the first liquid and not less than 10 % by weight of the second liquid on the basis of the amount of the first liquid.

    A liquid ejecting method, comprising the steps of:providing a liquid ejection outlet;providing a first liquid flow path for first liquid in fluid communication with said liquid ejection outlet;providing a second liquid flow path for second liquid, adjacent to said first liquid flow path;providing a separation wall having a movable member between said first liquid flow path and said second liquid flow path;andejecting, by displacement of said movable member toward said first liquid flow path, liquid which is a mixture of the first liquid and not less than 10 % by weight of the second liquid on the basis of the amount of said first liquid.

    A liquid ejection head, comprising:a liquid ejection outlet;a first liquid flow path for first liquid in fluid communication with said liquid ejection outlet;a second liquid flow path for second liquid, adjacent to said first liquid flow path;a separation wall having a movable member between said first liquid flow path and said second liquid flow path;andwherein by displacement of said movable member toward said first liquid flow path, liquid which is a mixture of the first liquid and not less than 10 % by weight of the second liquid on the basis of the amount of said first liquid, is ejected through said liquid ejection outlet.

    A liquid ejecting apparatus, comprising:a liquid ejecting head including;a liquid ejection outlet;a first liquid flow path for first liquid in fluid communication with said liquid ejection outlet;a second liquid flow path for second liquid, adjacent to said first liquid flow path;and a separation wall having a movable member between said first liquid flow path and said second liquid flow path;wherein by displacement of said movable member toward said first liquid flow path, liquid which is a mixture of the first liquid and not less than 10 % by weight of the second liquid on the basis of the amount of said first liquid, is ejected through said liquid ejection outlet;anddriving signal supply means for supplying a driving signal to said liquid ejecting head.

    A liquid ejecting apparatus, comprising:a liquid ejecting head including;a liquid ejection outlet;a first liquid flow path for first liquid in fluid communication with said liquid ejection outlet;a second liquid flow path for second liquid, adjacent to said first liquid flow path;and a separation wall having a movable member between said first liquid flow path and said second liquid flow path;driving signal supply means for supplying to said liquid ejecting head a driving signal for ejecting, by displacement of said movable member toward said first liquid flow path, liquid which is a mixture of the first liquid and not less than 10 % by weight of the second liquid on the basis of the amount of said first liquid, is ejected through said liquid ejection outlet.

    A head cartridge, comprising:a liquid ejecting head including;a liquid ejection outlet;a first liquid flow path for first liquid in fluid communication with said liquid ejection outlet;a second liquid flow path for second liquid, adjacent to said first liquid flow path;and a separation wall having a movable member between said first liquid flow path and said second liquid flow path;wherein by displacement of said movable member toward said first liquid flow path, liquid which is a mixture of the first liquid and not less than 10 % by weight of the second liquid on the basis of the amount of said first liquid, is ejected through said liquid ejection outlet;andliquid container for containing the liquid to be supplied to said liquid ejecting head.

    A print provided by liquid ejected by a recording head comprising:a liquid ejection outlet;a first liquid flow path for first liquid in fluid communication with said liquid ejection outlet;a second liquid flow path for second liquid, adjacent to said first liquid flow path;a separation wall having a movable member between said first liquid flow path and said second liquid flow path;andwherein by displacement of said movable member toward said first liquid flow path, liquid which is a mixture of the first liquid and not less than 10 % by weight of the second liquid on the basis of the amount of said first liquid, is ejected through said liquid ejection outlet.

    A head kit comprising:a recording head including a liquid ejection outlet;a first liquid flow path for first liquid in fluid communication with said liquid ejection outlet;a second liquid flow path for second liquid, adjacent to said first liquid flow path;a separation wall having a movable member between said first liquid flow path and said second liquid flow path;and wherein by displacement of said movable member toward said first liquid flow path, liquid which is a mixture of the first liquid and not less than 10 % by weight of the second liquid on the basis of the amount of said first liquid, is ejected through said liquid ejection outlet;a liquid container for containing liquid to be supplied to said liquid ejecting head;anda filling portion, containing the liquid, for filling the liquid to said liquid container.

    A liquid filling method, comprising:preparing recording head including a liquid ejection outlet;a first liquid flow path for first liquid in fluid communication with said liquid ejection outlet;a second liquid flow path for second liquid, adjacent to said first liquid flow path;a separation wall having a movable member between said first liquid flow path and said second liquid flow path;and wherein by displacement of said movable member toward said first liquid flow path, liquid which is a mixture of the first liquid and not less than 10 % by weight of the second liquid on the basis of the amount of said first liquid, is ejected through said liquid ejection outlet;wherein the liquid is filled to both of said first liquid flow path and the second liquid flow path.

    A tone gradation recording method, comprising:providing a liquid ejection outlet;providing a first liquid flow path for first liquid in fluid communication with said liquid ejection outlet;providing a second liquid flow path for second liquid, adjacent to said first liquid flow path;providing a separation wall having a movable member between said first liquid flow path and said second liquid flow path;andejecting, by displacement of said movable member toward said first liquid flow path, liquid which is a mixture of the first liquid and an amount of the second liquid on the basis of the amount of said first liquid, wherein the amount is controlled in accordance with the tone level to be recorded.

    A tone recording apparatus comprising:a liquid ejection outlet;a first liquid flow path for first liquid in fluid communication with said liquid ejection outlet;a second liquid flow path for second liquid, adjacent to said first liquid flow path;a separation wall having a movable member between said first liquid flow path and said second liquid flow path;andwherein by displacement of said movable member toward said first liquid flow path, liquid which is a mixture of the first liquid and an amount of the second liquid on the basis of the amount of said first liquid, is ejected, wherein the amount is controlled in accordance with the tone level to be recorded.

    A liquid ejection method, liquid ejection or recording apparatus or a liquid ejection head such as an ink jet head, wherein a first liquid path communicates with an ejection outlet and a second liquid path is communicable with the first liquid path, for example by means of a movable member, and a proportion, for example not less than 10% by weight, of liquid from the second liquid path is ejected with liquid from the first liquid path.

    A liquid ejection method, liquid ejection or recording apparatus or a liquid ejection head such as an ink jet head, wherein a first liquid path communicates with an ejection outlet and a second liquid path is communicable with the first liquid path, for example by means of a movable member, and means are provided for controlling an amount of the liquid from the second liquid path to be ejected with liquid from the first liquid path.
