Device for arming an alarm system and for monitoring an entry door
Abstract
The setting device allows an intruder alarm with a central device and a number of spaced detectors to be set automatically when at least one access door is locked, using switches (S1,S2,S3) incorporated in the door frame (5). A first switch (S1) is closed when the door is closed, a second switch (S2) closed when the locking bolt (1) for the door is operated and a third switch (S3) is closed when the locking bolt reaches its fully locked position. The signals from the switches are fed to a control device, providing the control signal for setting the alarm when all 3 switches are closed.

The invention relates to a device for arming an alarm system and for monitoring an entry door according to the preamble of claim 1.
Alarm systems usually consist of an alarm panel and a plurality of detectors that monitor the area to be protected, such as buildings or apartments.
For arming the alarm system, it is known, especially in wireless alarm systems to provide a radio transmitter, which contain by one or more different radio signals defined data telegrams, the control panel notifies that the alarm system or parts be armed them. The disadvantage of such transmitters is that the operator must use a separate input device to arm the alarm system. Thus, there are often errors in operating or arming the alarm system will be completely forgotten.
From European Patent Application EP-A-0462442 a method for arming / disarming an alarm system is known in which at the end of a monitoring area, ie an electromechanical block castle is located at the last door that can be closed. This block lock the intruder alarm system is armed while mechanically locks the door. The block lock is connected to an alarm center that listens all the detectors simultaneously, so that the states of the detectors are known at any time and arming the alarm system can be prevented, for example, if a window is not closed. However, detection of manipulation at the front door is not possible with the specified block castle.
The invention is therefore based on the object to provide a device which allows the arming of the alarm system and when unauthorized opening of the door can be detected.
This object is achieved on the basis of a device according to the preamble of claim 1 by the characterizing features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.
According to the invention a first switch is arranged on the door frame of the door with which it can be determined whether the input door is opened or closed. The switch is arranged so that it is actuated when the door is closed, that is that the switch is closed when the door is closed. With the door open and the switch is open. A second switch is arranged in the door frame in the region of the insertion of the bolt. This switch is closed when the bolt of the lock is pushed into the insertion hole. A third switch is mounted in the insertion opening in such a way that it is closed when the bolt is fully inserted into the insertion opening. The three switches are connected to a control unit. the switching states of the individual switches thus may be communicated and the control unit generates a status signal corresponding to the switch positions to the control unit.
The inventive device can be armed advantageously the alarm when a certain pattern of switching states occurs. It can also be detected tampering with the front door when the switch states have, contrary to the normal closing operation.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention the control unit is designed so that it outputs a signal to the arming of the alarm system if all three switches are closed. In this position the door is closed and the bolt introduced completely into the insertion opening.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the control unit outputs an alarm signal when the second switch is closed and the first switch is opened. In this case, it is assumed that the door is undermined. By pushing away the door of the first switch is opened before the second, while in the normal digestion first the second switch is opened when unlocking the door and is only operated when opening the door, the first switch.
A further advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the switching signals are fed to a radio transmission unit and the connection is realized to the control unit by a radio link. This makes complex installation work that would be needed at a cable connection.
A further advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the lock is attached to the bolt as an additional lock (block lock) at the door and the door frame a trap is attached, which serves as the insertion of the bolt and the switches are arranged. This embodiment is particularly advantageous in a retrofit installation of an alarm system.
In the following the invention is explained with reference to FIGS 1 and 2. FIG. Show it:

Figure 1: The layout of the switches and the lock on a door

Figure 2: A state diagram of the switch

1 shows a lock 1 which is arranged on the door 3. A door lock 2 and is moved with a rotary member of the fourth To the door frame 5 an insertion opening 6 is attached to the bolt first
The door frame 5 and the first switch S1 is arranged which monitors the closed state of the door third In the insertion opening 6 for the bolt 1, a second switch S2 is provided, which is closed upon insertion of the bar 1 into the insertion opening. The switch S3 is arranged at the end of the insertion opening and is closed at full insertion of the bar 1 into the insertion opening. 6
2 shows a table of the states of the switches S1 to S3. If the door is open, all three switches are open, while in the closed, not blocked off door closing switch S1 and the switches S2 and S3 are opened. When the door is closed and blocked off the switches S1 and S2 or all the switches are closed. If all switches are closed, that is when the bolt is fully inserted into the insertion opening, the alarm system by a control unit, which is not shown in the figure 1, is connected flocking.
When switch S1 is open and closed switches S2 and S3, an alarm is triggered. This switch position indicates that the door has not been properly opened. It is assumed that the door was unhinged and pushed backwards. The same applies to open switch S1, open switches S3 and switch S2 is closed.
The states in which the switch S2 is open and switch S3 is closed are expected neither the proper opening of the door even in a manipulation.
The inventive device for arming an alarm system and to monitor an entrance door can be integrated as a locking mechanism in the door, or, especially in a later installation of an alarm system, be designed as a block lock.
