    A medication delivery regulation apparatus comprising:a pulse wave detection apparatus, said pulse wave apparatus comprising pulse wave detection means (200) for detecting pulse waves from a patient, and pulse wave analysis means (100) for determining pulse wave spectra by frequency analysis of said pulse waves, and for calculating waveform parameters based on the pulse wave spectra determined by frequency analysis;means for measuring a blood pressure of the above-mentioned patient;and medication delivery control means (100, 300, 400) for ordering the delivery of medication if said waveform parameters fulfil set conditions;characterised in that said waveform parameters include amplitude ratios of the respective harmonic spectra and the fundamental spectra of the pulse waves;and    the medication delivery control means (100, 300, 400) is adapted to order the delivery of medication if said amplitude ratios fulfil set conditions and said blood pressure is greater than a set value.

    A medication delivery regulation apparatus comprising:a pulse wave detection apparatus, said pulse wave apparatus comprising pulse wave detection means (200) for detecting pulse waves from a patient, and pulse wave analysis means (100) for determining pulse wave spectra by frequency analysis of said pulse waves, and for calculating waveform parameters based on the pulse wave spectra determined by frequency analysis;means for measuring a blood pressure of the above-mentioned patient;and medication delivery control means (100, 300, 400) for ordering the delivery of medication if said waveform parameters fulfil set conditions;characterised in that said waveform parameters include phase differences between the respective harmonic spectra and the fundamental spectra of the pulse waves;and    the medication delivery control means (100, 300, 400) is adapted to order the delivery of medication if said phase differences fulfil set conditions and said blood pressure is greater than a set value.

    A medication delivery regulation apparatus comprising:a pulse wave detection apparatus, said pulse wave apparatus comprising pulse wave detection means (200) for detecting pulse waves from a patient, and pulse wave analysis means (100) for determining pulse wave spectra by frequency analysis of said pulse waves, and for calculating waveform parameters based on the pulse wave spectra determined by frequency analysis;means for measuring a blood pressure of the above-mentioned patient;and medication delivery control means (100, 300, 400) for ordering the delivery of medication if said waveform parameters fulfil set conditions;characterised in that said pulse wave analysis means (100) detects the high frequency and low frequency components of the pulse waves and said waveform parameters include the ratios between the high frequency components and the low frequency components of the pulse waves;and    the medication delivery control means (100, 300, 400) is adapted to order the delivery of medication if said ratios fulfil set conditions and said blood pressure is greater than a set value.

    A medication delivery regulation apparatus comprising:a pulse wave detection apparatus, said pulse wave apparatus comprising pulse wave detection means (200) for detecting pulse waves from a patient, and pulse wave analysis means (100) for determining pulse wave spectra by frequency analysis of said pulse waves, and for calculating waveform parameters based on the pulse wave spectra determined by frequency analysis;means for measuring a blood pressure of the above-mentioned patient;and medication delivery control means (100, 300, 400) for ordering the delivery of medication if said waveform parameters fulfil set conditions;characterised in that said waveform parameters include the distortions of the pulse waves calculated from the pulse wave spectra;and    the medication delivery control means (100, 300, 400) is adapted to order the delivery of medication if said distortions fulfil set conditions and said blood pressure is greater than a set value.

    A medication delivery regulation apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein a setting means is provided for setting the waveform parameters determined by the above-mentioned frequency analysis section as the conditions for said medication delivery.

    A medication delivery regulation apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein a first alarm means is provided for determining the amount of medication delivered to the above-mentioned patient, and outputting an alarm if the summation value of the medication delivery amounts reaches a set amount and/or a second alarm means is provided for observing whether or not said medication delivery is being performed normally, and outputting an alarm if there are any problems.

    A medication delivery regulation apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein said medication delivery regulation apparatus is portable, has a battery, and has a power control means (8b) for delivering the output voltage of said battery to the respective relevant elements only while the collection of the pulse waves by the above-mentioned pulse wave detection means (200), the calculation of the above-mentioned waveform parameters by the above-mentioned pulse wave analysis means (100) and the above-mentioned medication delivery by the above-mentioned medication delivery control means are being performed.

    A medication delivery regulation apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein a memory and a medication delivery recording means are provided for recording in said memory medication delivery data representing the time, type of medication, and/or amount of medication delivered for each time said medication delivery is performed.
