    A heat sink (H) for cooling a heat producing element (3), comprising;a heat sink body (1) made of a material having a good heat conductivity, including a base (7) capable of being mounted on the heat producing element (3), and a cover (8) mounted on said base (7);a fan assembly (2) installed in an internal space of the heat sink body (1), said fan assembly including a drive (2b) and fan blades (2a) fixed on the rotating shaft of the drive (2b);said cover (8) having a hole (8a) corresponding to the position of the fan assembly, and a vertical partition (9) extending downward from a periphery of the hole (8a) for surrounding the fan blades (2a) when the cover (8) is fixed on the base (7).

    A heat sink (H) for cooling the heat producing element (3) as set forth in any of claims 1 to 4, wherein the heat sink body (1) further includes bars (7a) for supporting the cover (8) disposed at the four corners of the base (7) respectively.

    A heat sink (H) for cooling the heat producing element (3) as set forth in any of claims 1 to 7, wherein    cooling grooves (8c) connecting the edge of the hole (8a) and one of the sides of the cover (8) are disposed on the upper face of the cover (8).

    A heat sink (H) for cooling the heat producing element (3) as set forth in claims 1 to 8, wherein    radiating pins (8d) are disposed on the upper face of the cover (8).

    A heat sink (H) for cooling the heat producing element (3) as set forth in any of claims 1 to 9, wherein    radiating pins (8e) are disposed on the bottom face of the cover (8) so as to be positioned in the space surrounded by the heat radiating fins (6) when the cover (8) is fixed on the base (7).

    A heat sink (H) for cooling the heat producing element (3) as set forth in any of claims 1 to 10, wherein    the fan assembly (2) is installed in the heat sink body (1) whose rotating shaft is disposed at the center of the heat sink body (1).

    A heat sink (H) for cooling the heat producing element (3) as set forth in any of claims 1 to 10, wherein    the fan assembly (2) is installed in the heat sink body (1) whose rotating shaft is disposed offset from the center of the heat sink body (1).

    A heat sink (H) for cooling the heat producing element (3) as set forth in claims 14 or 16, wherein    a space for decreasing an air-pressure loss under the fan assembly (2) is formed on an upper bottom face of the base (7) under the position of the fan assembly (2) by making a stage (7c, 7d) having a different depth.

    A heat sink (H) for cooling the heat producing element (3) as set forth in any of claims 1 to 17, wherein the heat radiating fins (6) are shaped like a pin,    an arrangement of the heat radiating fins (6) disposed on the upper bottom face of the base (7) is dense around the center of the base (7) and is non-dense around the side of the base (7).

    A heat sink (H) for cooling the heat producing element (3) as set forth in any of claims 1 to 18, wherein    power supply terminals (18) are disposed on the lower bottom face of the heat sink body (1), and the power supply to the fan assembly (2) is executed via the power supply terminals (18).

    A heat sink (H) for cooling the heat producing element (3) as set forth in any of claims 1 to 19, wherein    a temperature sensor (20) is disposed on the base (7) of the heat sink body (1), and the fan assembly (2) is ON/OFF controlled by the output signal from the temperature sensor (20).

    A heat sink (H) for cooling the heat producing element (3) as set forth in any of claims 1 to 19, wherein    a temperature sensor (20) is disposed on the base (7) of the heat sink body (1) and a rotation speed of the fan assembly (2) is controlled by the output signal from the temperature sensor (20).

    A heat sink (H) as set forth in any of claims 1 to 21, applied to a portable electronic apparatus having a keyboard assembly (23) equipped with a reinforcing plate (22) on the bottom thereof and installed in a casing (21), and a printed board (17) having a heat producing element (3) on the upper face thereof and disposed under the keyboard assembly (23), wherein    a surrounding wall (24) whose upper edge contacts to a bottom face of the reinforcing plate (22) is disposed on every edge of the heat sink (H) mounted on the heat producing element (3), and ventilation holes (25) for passing a cooling air of the heat sink (H) are disposed on the reinforcing plate (22).

    A heat sink (H) as set forth in any of claims 1 to 22, applied to a printed board (17) having at least one pair of L-shaped shoes (43) with its level part bent outside, and a heat producing element (3) is mounted on the printed board (17) between the pair of the shoes (43), further comprising a fixing spring bar (44) formed as a separate member, and the fixing spring bar (44) is attached to the shoes (43) overpassing the heat sink body (1) with pressure whereby the heat sink (H) is mounted on the heat producing element (3).

    A heat sink (H) as set forth in any of claims 1 to 23, further comprising a U-shaped fixing spring clip (45) having contact segments (45a) at both ends formed as a separate member, wherein    the heat sink (H) is mounted to the heat producing element (3) by clipping the heat sink body (1) and the heat producing element (3) with a spring force of the clip (45).

    A heat sink (H) as set forth in any of claims 1 to 24, wherein the heat radiating fins (6) shaped like a pin are disposed on the top face of the base (7), further comprising:a heat sink fixture (28) having a level segment (26), a fin hole (26a) for inserting the radiating fin (6) and an L-shaped pressing segment (27) extended from the level segment (26) for pressing a bottom face of the heat producing element (3) to mount the heat sink (H) on the heat producing element (3) clipping with the level segment (26) and the pressing segment (27).
