p0001The invention relates to a lighting frame for table lamps, floor lamps and other lamps that have a light arm, which is provided at one end with one foot and the other end with a lamp housing.
p0002For lamps with straight luminaire attachment of the foot and the lamp housing at the ends of the luminaire arm is not difficult. It is different with a bent lamp arm, which is composed of several sections (DE-A-36 04 319). In this case the arm sections must be connected together. Such compounds generally require the angular range special fixtures and fittings visible from the outside, which interfere with the design of the lamp stand. In addition, a luminaire must have a large rigidity and strength that would be affected by connecting elements in the angular range.
p0003A glow frame with the features of the preamble of claim 1 is known from US-A-2 665 870. This lighting frame has a light arm from two pivotal arm portions, whereby the one arm comprises a tension element, which anchored in the zone connecting the arm joint and the is the opposite end in the base biased by a spring. This pulling element is used, the lamp arm, which is pivotable with respect to the foot to balance, so that the position of the lamp is stable arm in each pivoting position. The ends of the arm lamps are screwed into the corresponding hinge portions. Would not swivel the luminaire at the bottom, so the balancer would not be necessary with the traction member.
p0004A similar lighting frame is known from FR-A-1 172 498. There, the luminaire on the foot is also mounted with a hinge and the various arm portions of the lamps arm are connected by joints with each other. However, the arm portions contain traction elements, but rods and tubes that serve as electrical leads for connecting the two power poles with the luminaire housing. Here, a length compensation of the rods is carried out by compression springs. The arm is connected to the foot and the lamp housing by screwing.
p0005The invention has for its object to provide a lighting frame that is easy to assemble prefabricated parts, a great rigidity and strength has and in which the individual components are not directly bolted together.
p0006This object is inventively by the features specified in claim. 1
p0007In the lamp according to the invention consist frame, the arm portions extending at an angle to each other, of hollow profiles having constant cross-section over its length, but need not be round. Such hollow profiles may for example be prepared by the extrusion method. The hollow sections are connected by an angle piece which is separately prepared. Within the hollow sections traction elements extend over the entire length. Each of the arm portions is initially loose and without retaining engagement with the adjacent part, namely the base, the elbow or the luminaire housing, stated. The retention force with which the arm portions are adhered to the adjacent components is provided solely by the acting as an anchorage device traction member. By the pulling the entire luminaire frame is held together without would be attached to the arm portions or threaded holes for mounting hardware. The invention enables a secure and rigid attachment of accessories on the ends of the arm portions, wherein the additional parts have no play or movement ability. The luminaires frame is thus inherently rigid, with no externally visible fasteners. Thus lights frame of the invention can be varied within the framework of a modular system, with arm and pulling elements of different lengths are available. For example, the lighting frame can be used either for a table lamp or a floor lamp. By using different angles, the bending can be changed. The lights frame thus offers numerous possibilities of variation, whereby only individual components need to be replaced. In principle, the same hollow profiles may be used for all types of lamps frame.
p0008The luminaires frame is particularly suitable for a luminaire which has two angled sections, the angle forms the anchoring part for the tension elements of the two adjacent arm portions. The bracing of the two arm is carried forth to the elbow opposite ends of the front sides, ie without interfering with the externally visible structure.
p0009As clamping elements preferably wing nuts are used, allow the use of tools by hand, a voltage of the traction elements. The assembly of the lamp frame from the individual components can then take place without the use of tools.
p0010The lights frame invention is particularly suitable for workplace lamps and work zone lighting, where the light preferably directed to a work surface or a zone and the lighting frame does not affect the area to be illuminated.
p0011According to a preferred embodiment of the invention the luminaire housing can be mounted in different positions on the lamp base, said lamp housing is again aligned (in plan view) in the extension of the lamp frame and can be on the other aligned transversely thereto. The lighting frame allows these two configurations using the same components, which merely have to be mounted differently aligned with each other.
p0012In the following an embodiment of the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawings.

p0014The lights frame shown in FIG. 1 has a light arm 10, which joining of a straight lower arm 11, a straight upper arm 12, a the arm portions 11 and 12 elbow 13, a further elbow 14 at the end of the upper lamp arms 12, one on the other elbow 14 supported carrying plate 15 and an adapter plate 16 is. On the support plate 15, the optical assembly 17 is mounted, in which a light source is located. At the lower end of the arm portion 11, a foot 18 is provided, on which the entire luminaire frame 10 rests. This foot 18 is designed here as a holding device for mounting on a tabletop 19, but it may also consist for example of a stand-up on the base plate when the lower arm portion 11 has a greater length.
p0015The two arm portions 11 and 12 consist of mutually identical hollow profiles 20 made of metal, preferably aluminum. The hollow section 20 has a tubular rectangular structure with a closed circumferential wall, 21 and 22 longitudinally extending on the outsides of the grooves 23 are provided at the opposite main walls, while the narrower side walls 24 and 25 are convexly curved smooth and outwardly. Of the side walls 24 and 25 project inwardly from the profile webs 26, 27 form C-shaped guide channels for receiving a respective pull member 28th The guide channels 27 surround each traction member 28 to more than 180 °, so that the tension elements are not laterally moved out of the guide channels, but only in the longitudinal direction can be inserted into the guide channels. The tension elements 28 are rigid rods of metal, each extending over the entire length of an arm portion 11,12 and are provided at their ends with threads 29 and 30 respectively.
p0016At the lower end of the lower arm portion 11 an end piece 31 is attached as shown in FIG. 4, pass through the the traction elements 28th To the threads 29 of the tension elements 28 nuts 32 are screwed, which are supported on the underside of the end piece 31 and with which the tension elements 28 can be clamped. On the outstanding end portions of the tension elements 28 boards 33 and 34 are pushed, which form the base 18 and between which a table top 19 can be clamped with wingnuts 35th The end piece 31 and the plates 33 and 34 have central openings 36 to cables pass through the interior of the frame lights can.
p0017The angle piece 13 is adapted in its outer contour in each case to the outer contours of the two arm portions 11 and 12, therefore has a substantially rectangular cross-section. It has a transverse partition 40 with a central opening 41 for the passage of cables. From the intermediate wall 41 are provided in the longitudinal direction of the respective adjacent arm section 11 and 12, bushings 42 and 43 with internal thread for screwing the thread 30 of the tension elements 18 from. The sockets 43 are arranged in alignment with the guide channels 27 of the arm portions 11 and 12. FIG. This ensures that the elbow 13 relative to the arm portions 11 and 12 can not rotate. The two off-center running in the arm portions traction elements 18 thus ensure a torsion-free mounting of the bracket 13 to the arm portions. If the traction elements 18 have been clamped by the nuts 32, the arm portion 11 is firmly clamped between the end 31 and the elbow 13, with tail and elbow can not move relative to the arm portion 11th
p0018Towards the upper end of the arm 12, the other elbow 14 is set, which is also hollow and its angle is the same size as that of the elbow 13, so that the elbow 14 to a certain extent compensates for the effect of the elbow. 13 The angle piece 14 thus has a horizontal upper wall 45 and at its lower end an opening 46 for the passage of cables. In the top wall 45 is a recess 47, which is larger than the opening 46. guide channels for the traction elements 28 are not present in the elbow 14th By the inside of this elbow 14, the pull members 28 go straight through, so that they cross the plane of the top wall 45 at an acute angle. The top wall 45 of the other angle piece 14 is square and along its periphery Peaks 48 are arranged at regular intervals.
p0019Against the top wall 45 of the bracket 14, the support plate 15 is set. This support plate is made of a profile 49 has on its lower longitudinal grooves. In the grooves 49, the towering battlements penetrate 48 of the bracket 14 so that the support plate 15 is held rotationally secure manner on the elbow 14th It is possible, the support plate 15 also rotated through 90 ° on the top wall 45 of the angle piece to place 14, because the merlons 48 that are arranged both on the longitudinal sides and on the transverse sides of the upper surface 45, enable this.
p0020The supporting plate 15 has for the passage of the oblique tension elements 18 a pair of elongated holes 50 which are arranged on either side of an opening 58 for cables. Another pair of long holes 51 is arranged perpendicularly to the elongated holes 50th Through this pair of long holes 51, the tension elements lead 28 therethrough when the support plate 15 has been arranged rotated by 90 °. Finally, the support plate 15 has another pair of holes 52 in order to affix the lamp housing 17 can. This is done with screws that are placed from below against the mounting plate 15 and subsequently included by the elbow 14th
p0021On the support plate 15, the adapter plate 16 is placed. The adapter plate has according to FIG. 7 inclined holes 55 for the passage of obliquely passing through the long holes 50 traction elements 28. The oblique bore 55 opens into a right angle extending to the oblique bore support surface 56. A wing nut 57 which is screwed onto the thread 29 at the end of the traction member 28 is pressed against the support surface 56 and tensioned by the tension member 28, the other end is anchored in the elbow. 13
p0022The adapter plate 16 is always mounted in the same orientation to the elbow 14, even if the support plate 15 is arranged rotated by 90 °. The adapter plate 16 has an alignment with the opening 58 of the support plate 15 (not shown) opening for the passage of cables on.
