p0001The invention relates to an apparatus for electrolytic deburring of connecting rods mounted in a housing consisting of pin-shaped electrodes which are each assigned to a connecting rod, of an electrolyte in the supply line to be deburred and the area of a connecting rod body connectable to the further electrode.
p0002In the production of connecting rods formed after the drilling of the connecting rod edge must be deburred. This preferably occurs by electrolytic means. For this purpose it is known to introduce electrodes which are adapted to the smaller or larger connecting rod eye in the Pleuelaugenbohrungen, wherein a container filled with the Elektolyt working gap produced between the edges to be deburred of the connecting rod and the outer surface of the electrodes. In the region which is not to be processed, the electrode is insulated. This insulation is also used positioning. The electrode is connected to the negative potential and the connecting rod is connected to the positive potential of the power unit, the connection being realized by means of a slip ring contact.
p0003In order to achieve a targeted deburring of these edges, a complicated positioning of the workpiece on the pin is required.
p0004This is as long as relatively unproblematic as long as the connecting rods of the same type, ie having the same diameter in larger or smaller connecting rod and the same distance of the connecting rod.
p0005However, changing the dimensions of the connecting rod to be processed, the respective conversion of the deburring device is very time consuming. This is particularly disadvantageous if an entire production line for the connecting rod to a different type of workpiece to be retrofitted.
p0006In contrast, the present invention seeks to provide an apparatus for electrolytic deburring of edges connecting rod further so that it can easily be adapted when changing bore diameter and eye relief of the connecting rod to be processed.
p0007This object is achieved in that each connecting rod is associated with such a one electrolyte feed containing Direction trained in the manner of a turret electrode holder for several along its circumference arranged peg-like electrodes that the pre-selected for the processing of the respective connecting rod end or Pleuelaugenabstand electrode by rotating the turret can be brought into the working position.
p0008The invention is characterized in that for different rods to be processed by rotating the turret type electrode holder each suitable combination of serving as electrodes pin can be selected from the available pins and placed in the working position. The separate formation of the electrode holder for the large or small eye a large variation possibility is another possible for both the eye diameter and the distance of the connecting rod. The accuracy of alignment is very high, since each of the selected journals can be reproducibly positioned by rotation of the turret type holder.
p0009A simple configuration results when the electrode holder is cuboid and means of an adjusting device about the longitudinal axis extending in its rohrfömige lead for the electrolyte to the working position for the pre-selected electrode position is rotatable.
p0010This embodiment consists of a fixed part, through which the electrolyte can be fed and a rotating part opposite him, on which are serving as electrode post. The thus resulting structure is both compact and allows the other hand a simple electrolyte intake. The negative potential is transmitted via a slip ring contact.
p0011When in another particular embodiment, the tubular supply of quaderfömigen electrode holder is mounted in the trough-shaped housing, can the existing base of electrochemical machining unit and its essential components, for example, remain received the minus electrode connected to the housing.
p0012As positioning means for the selection of the respective pin-shaped electrodes are suitable on the one hand a manually betätigtbare index disc or an automatic adjusting device by means of an electrically actuable servomotor. The latter solution has particular advantages in the processing of either connecting rods in the case of a type change.
p0013If each of which is arranged on the cuboid outer surface of pin-shaped electrodes is associated with an inwardly extending blind bore and in that the tubular feed line for the electrolyte, axially offset in each turret plane each having a transverse opening through which the selected electrode associated blind bore is connectable to the electrolyte supply, resulting a structurally simple solution, which implies that only the currently active, ie used for deburring pin is supplied with electrolyte, whereas the remaining pins are decoupled from the electrolyte supply.
p0014The fact that each of the electrode holder also may include a plurality of axially spaced groups turret-like arranged electrodes, several connecting rods can be processed in parallel.
p0015Preferably, the positive potential on the other electrode is lowered by means of a rotatably mounted on the housing cover piece on the rod body. In addition, the processing unit for the conversion operation is easily accessible. Thereby, the connecting rod is connected to the positive potential of the power unit. In addition, these rotatable means for loading and unloading by a transport system (or manual) is necessary.
p0016The invention is explained below with reference to an embodiment performing drawing.
p0017They show:

Fig.1

a perspective view of an embodiment of the invention,

2a

a section along the line AA in Figure 1 and

2b

a section along the line BB in Figure 2a.

p0018Figure 1 shows the mounted in a trough-shaped housing 1 arrangement for electrolytic deburring edges in connecting rod. Inside the trough-shaped housing 1 has two extending parallel with spaced-apart block-shaped electrode holders 2a, 2b are provided.
p0019The electrode holder 2a, 2b have at their ends in the wall of the trough-shaped housing 1 mounted pipe pieces 6a, 6b, which are respectively connected to a source of an electrolyte. In the intermediate region the electrode holders 2a, 2b are of cuboidal design.
p0020The cuboid holding means 2a, 2b are rotatably mounted on their associated tubular supply lines 6a, 6b. By the power supply via slip ring contact 11, the compound remains connected to the negative potential obtained in any position. The rotation takes place 8b by the bouncing of a mechanical gear 8a or an electric servomotor.
p0021On the four outer surfaces of the cuboid electrodes holder 2a, 2b are pin-shaped electrodes as tools for deburring of edges in the connecting rod 4a, a connecting rod 3 to be processed are 4b. The pins are arranged offset on the circumference of the electrode holder, but lie in the axial normal plane of the parallelepiped-shaped electrode holder, so that, by its rotation in the manner of a turret, the desired electrode can be brought into the working position.
p0022In each case a connecting rod is associated with an electrode holder 2a and the other electrode holder 2b. The illustrated apparatus thus enables the parallel processing of two connecting rods, said second connecting rod is arranged in parallel with the drawn rod 3rd
p0023Arranged on the outer surfaces of the respective block-shaped electrode holder 2a, 2b pins can firstly, as shown in Fig. 2b, different diameters D₁, D₂, such that correspondingly different connecting rod end can be edited. Secondly, the pin can be x offset by a certain distance in relation to a mean Pleuelabstand to consider a different eye spacing of the individual to be machined connecting rods. This is represented by the displacements x relative to the central location in the 2b.
p0024The position and the diameter of the pin is determined during the preparation of the respective block-shaped electrode holder 2a, 2b, taking account of different connecting rods to be processed. Through the selection of the respective stud on an electrode holder 2a and the other electrode holder 2b, a plurality of combinations of Pleuelaugendurchmessern or Pleuelaugenabständen is adjustable.
p0025As is apparent from Fig. 2a, extends below each peg-shaped electrode 5b has an inwardly leading in the cuboid space blind bore 9b, which can serve as a supply channel for the electrolyte. Axial offset along the tubular supply line 6b for the electrolyte cross holes 10b are provided in the tube jacket.
p0026These transverse holes are located on top of the case. This ensures that only that blind hole 9b is connected to the electrolyte supply line 6b, which is directed upward, ie, which is also selected for the deburring of the respective connecting rod. The other blind holes, for example, in Figure 2a shown downward blind holes are disconnected from the supply of electrolyte 6b.
p0027For carrying out the Entgratungvorganges the negative pole of the voltage supply unit is applied to the trough-shaped housing 1, while the positive pole via a hinged lid 7 is lowered to the rod body 3, so that the electrolyte is activated in the working gap between the pin-shaped electrode and the inner bore of the respective connecting rod eye.
p0028After machining, and for the purpose of conversion to a connecting rod with different eyes diameters or eyes intervals the machined connecting rod of the device is removed and then the block-shaped electrode holders 2a, 2b is rotated by means of the adjusting devices 8a, 8b in the manner of a turret head about its axis, that the desired pins that match the dimensions of the new connecting rod to be processed are arranged on the side accessible from the top of the processing unit. Then inserted to edit new connecting rods and proceed as described.
