p0001The invention relates to a sanitary water valve with a control element consisting of three superimposed control disks and enclosed by a housing, wherein the lower and the upper control disk are fixed and the central control disk is displaceable relative to the fixed control disks via an actuating member engaging it Two planes in the housing tiltably or pivotably through the housing cover and the upper fixed control disk.
p0002A water valve with the features according to the invention is described in DE-OS No. 35 25 053.4; This water valve has, as a special feature, a control element consisting of three disks, the central disk of which is displaceable relative to the two outer fixed control disks as a movable control disk. The displacement of the central control disk and thus the regulation of the water flow is effected by means of an actuating element which engages in the central control disk and is connected to the latter and for this purpose engages both the cover of the housing enclosing the control element and the upper fixed control disk in a correspondingly arranged opening . In the known water valve, the actuating element is mounted by means of a spherical widening which is formed thereon and lies in the opening of the upper fixed control disc.
p0003This has the disadvantage that due to the narrowed dimensions of the upper fixed control disc, only a very small radius can be formed for the bearing ball to be accommodated by the upper control disc. The tight manufacturing tolerances associated therewith are, however, scarcely to be met in serial production of larger unit numbers of water valves, and in addition the bearing surfaces available for a small ball radius for the actuating element in the upper disc are so narrowly dimensioned that hardly a sufficient stability of the bearing of the actuating element in Of the upper disc as well as of the guide of the central movable disc via the actuating element.
p0004In view of the avoidance of such disadvantages, it is known, for example, from DE-OS 34 19 208, in a valve comprising two windows, in which the actuating element engages on the upper movable disk, the actuating element is correspondingly strong with a bearing ball of comparatively large diameter Shaped cover part of the housing. However, such a solution can not be applied to a water valve of the generic type because, owing to the additional third control disk and in the case of a correspondingly thick design of the housing cover for receiving a bearing ball of larger diameter, the overall height of the valve would overall exceed the acceptable level.
p0005The invention is therefore based on the object of improving a water valve with the features of the invention in such a way that its overall height is limited by a bearing which is easy to produce and which is effective in its function.
p0006The solution to this object, including advantageous embodiments and further developments, results from the content of the patent claims, which are prefixed to this description.
p0007The invention is based on the basic idea that the actuating element is mounted on bearing locations arranged outside the housing surrounding the control element in such a way that the center of rotation of the actuating element lies in the plane of the housing cover. This is associated with the essential advantage that on the one hand the cover of the housing enclosing the control element can be kept comparatively thin because it has no bearing function, but only has to fulfill a passage function for the actuating element; On the other hand, however, a short-range distance between the pivot point of the actuating element arranged in the plane of the housing cover and its connection with the movable disc is advantageously obtained, which results in the fact that the pivotal point and the point of application are located on the central disc And the longer lever arm between the pivot point and the handle formed at the upper end of the actuating element, a greater pivoting movement of the hand lever only leads to a comparatively small displacement of the movable pulley so that a fine adjustment of the water paths is possible. This aspect is therefore of great importance in the valve according to the invention, because the water flow through the valve, which is possible in two planes, is much greater than in the case of a two-plate valve, so that even slight displacements of the movable control valve have comparatively great effects The total amount of water flowing through the valve.
p0008According to a preferred exemplary embodiment, provision is made for bearing points which are raised on the housing cover and which are encompassed positively by a sleeve connected to the actuating element in such a way that a bearing of the actuating element acts over the sleeve formed thereon in cooperation with those on the housing cover Bearing positions. According to an exemplary embodiment of the invention, these bearing points are designed as a semi-cylindrical body, which is placed on the cover of the housing, perpendicular to the pivoting plane of the actuating element, and has an opening for the passage of the actuating element; The sleeve has projections which overlap the half cylinder, so that here a sliding bearing is realized on a cylinder section.
p0009According to an exemplary embodiment of the invention, the actuating element has, in the plane of the housing cover, a ball-like thickening filling the passage opening through the housing cover, which forms an additional guide and securing of the actuating element against tensile loading; However, this spherical thickening does not have any bearing function for the actuating element.
p0010According to the invention, it may also be provided to secure the actuating element with a sleeve by means of a holding part to be fixed to the housing so that the actuating element with the sleeve is fixed with respect to the bearing points.
p0011The drawing shows two exemplary embodiments of the invention which are described below. Show it:<ul><li>1 is a sectional view of a sanitary water valve, FIG.</li><li>FIG. 2 shows another exemplary embodiment of the water valve according to FIG. 1.</li></ul>
p0012The water valve 10 has, as the control element 11, a disk pack consisting of three individual disks which is enclosed by a housing 12 with a base 13, a side wall 14 and a cover 15. The lower disc 16 of the control element 11 is fixed against the housing base 12 and has openings 17 for the passage of the cold and warm water which flows into the valve via correspondingly assigned through openings 18 in the housing base 13; Only one opening 17, 18 can be seen in the figures.
p0013The upper disc 19 of the control element 11, which has deflection chambers 20 assigned to the openings 17, 18, is fixed against the upper housing cover 15; Between the fixed disks 16, 19, the movable disk 21 is arranged with correspondingly communicating openings 22, as can be seen from the figure representation. In the figures, the valve is in each case shown in the open position, in which the right edge of the movable disc is displaced opposite the associated edges of the fixed discs 16, 19 so that the water flowing into the water valve 10 from below, The opening 22 and the deflection chamber 20 can flow into the water space of the valve. When the movable disk 21 is displaced to the right until the disk edges come to coincidence, the closed position of the water valve is reached in which the deflection chambers 20 are constantly under the pressure of the water present on the valve.
p0014For the movement and displacement of the movable disk 21 an actuating element 23 is provided which passes through the housing cover 15 in an opening 24 and the upper fixed disk 19 in an assigned opening 25 and engages with a spherical guide 26 into the movable disk 21, Has a bore 28 into which a sleeve 27 for receiving the spherical guide 26 of the actuating element 23 is inserted. The actuating element 23 is essentially rod-shaped with a smaller diameter in the region of the through-openings 24, 25 in the fixed upper disc 19 or the housing cover 15 and with a larger diameter in the region outside the housing 12. The upper disc 19 is sealed against the underside of the housing cover 15 by means of a seal 29 surrounding the corresponding through-opening 25 so that no water flows out of the water chamber of the valve via the separating surface between the control element 11 and the underside of the housing cover 15, Housing 12 can emerge.
p0015In order to support the actuating element 23, bearing positions 30 are formed on the upper side of the cover 15, which have the shape of spherical segments in their cross-sectional representation in the figures. The plane of the valve which is perpendicular to the plane of movement of the actuating element 23 resulting from the sectional view is a semicylinder, which is placed with its cutting surface on the cover 15 and has an opening for the passage of the actuating element 23.
p0016The ball-shaped spherical sections 30 are overlapped by projections 32 of a sleeve 31, which in turn is connected to the actuating element 23; The respective projections 32 have a surface, adapted to the outer shape of the bearing locations 30, of their inner side.
p0017The side walls 14 of the housing 12 are extended upwards beyond the cover 15 so that a cup-shaped space enclosing the actuating element 23 with the sleeve 31 is produced in which a holding part 34 is fixed by means of a suitable connection which in turn comprises the lugs 32 of the sleeve 31 and thus axially fixes the actuating element 23 with the sleeve 31 in the valve 10.
p0018FIG. 2 shows an exemplary embodiment which corresponds to the exemplary embodiment described above, but in this embodiment the actuating element 23 has a ball-like thickening 35 filling the through-opening 24 in the plane of the housing cover 15, by means of which the guidance of the actuating element is improved and, An additional axial securing against an axial displacement of the actuating element 23 is effected. In conjunction with this, an additional seal 36 enclosing the spherical thickening 35 of the actuating element 23 is inserted into the inner wall of the recess 24.
