A control method for a distributed processor system including a plurality of processors (10, 20, 30) connected via a transmission medium (01), comprising the steps of:monitoring, in each processor, data receiving means (13) of its own processing unit and judging its own receiving capability;and performing abnormality processing when result of said judgment satisfies a predetermined condition.
  2. 2
A control method for a distributed processor system according to Claim 1, further comprising the step of informing other processors of situation of its own processor according to the result of said receiving capability judgment.
  3. 3
A control method for a distributed processor system according to Claim 1, wherein said judging step comprises the step of judging, in each processor, the receiving capability of its own processor by monitoring the number of data stored in a receiving buffer (14) of said receiving means (13), data received from said transmission medium being stored in said receiving buffer.
  4. 4
A control method for a distributed processor system according to Claim 1 or 3, wherein said processing step comprises the step of setting a flag for indicating an abnormal state in each processor in accordance with the result of the receiving capability judgment.
  5. 5
A control method for a distributed processor system according to Claim 1 or 3, wherein said processing step comprises the step of transmitting from each processor a data transmission delay requesting message for stopping data transmission for a predetermined time to other processors on the basis of the result of the receiving capability judgment.
  6. 6
A control method for a distributed processor system according to Claim 5, wherein said processing step comprises the steps of:receiving, in each processor, said data delay requesting message from another processor;storing, upon receiving said message, data is generated in its own processor as to be transmitted to the transmission medium (1) into a buffer (18) included in its own processor;and transmitting data stored in said buffer upon elapse of a predetermined time since reception of said data transmission delay requesting message.
  7. 7
A control method for a distributed processor system according to Claim 6, wherein the time elapsing until data stored to be transmitted are transmitted is changed according to how frequently the data transmission delay requesting message is received.
  8. 8
A control method for a distributed processor system according to Claim 1, wherein said processing step comprises the step of stopping its own data transmission for a predetermined time in accordance with the result of the receiving capability judgment.
  9. 9
A control method for a distributed processor system according to Claim 5, wherein said processing step comprises the step of repetitively transmitting a first message at predetermined time intervals after transmission of said transmission delay requesting message and transmitting a delay cancel message upon dropping of load of its own processor below a predetermined value.
  10. 10
A control method for a distributed processor system according to Claim 9, wherein said processing step comprises the step of temporarily stopping data transmission from its own processor upon receiving a data transmission delay requesting message from another processor and reopening data transmission from the processor upon receiving a delay cancel message.
  11. 11
In a distributed processor system including a plurality of processors (10, 20, 30) connected via a transmission medium (01), a data transmitting and receiving apparatus (11, 21, 31) comprising:a receiving buffer (14) for storing therein data received from said transmission medium (01);received data monitoring means (15) for monitoring the number of data stored in said receiving buffer;message sending means (16) for transmitting a message to said transmission medium;data receiving means (13) for receiving data from said transmission medium;a transmittin buffer (18) for storing therein data so generated in its own processor as to be transmitted to said transmission medium;and data transmitting means (17) for transmitting data stored in said transmitting buffer to the transmission medium, for receiving a message received by said receiving buffer, and for controlling data transmission.
  12. 12
A control method for a distributed processor system according to Claim 9 or 10, wherein said processing step comprises the step of reopening the data transmission in each processor under the condition that the processor receives a data transmission delay requesting message from another processor and then the processor does not receive a message from a second processor for a predetermined time or longer.
  13. 13
A transmission method for a distributed processor system including a plurality of processors (10, 20, 30) connected via a bus (01), said transmission method comprising the steps of:transmitting, in each processor, a message onto a network;and sending, in a processor which is not ready to receive a message on the network, a busy signal until the receivable state is attained.
  14. 14
A transmission method for a distributed processor system according to Claim 13, wherein a processor of transmission side detects collision between a busy signal and a transmitted message or collision between a message transmitted its own processor and a message transmitted from another processor.
  15. 15
A transmission method for a distributed processor system according to Claim 13 or 14, wherein a processor which has detected collision retransmits the message at predetermined time intervals until collision becomes undetected.
  16. 16
A control method for a ring-shaped network, said control method comprising the steps of:judging whether each transmission control unit on the ring-shaped network is ready to receive a message on the network or not;and erasing a message arriving at that transmission control unit from said network when that transmission control unit is not ready to receive the message.
  17. 17
A control method for a ring-shaped network according to Claim 16, wherein a transmission control unit, which is an origination source of a message, detects the fact that a transmission control unit, which should receive said message and which could not receive said message, exists in the system on the basis of the fact that said message does not come back in a predetermined time.
  18. 19
A control method for a ring-shaped network according to Claim 16, wherein a transmission control unit, which is not ready to receive a message generated by itself, erases a message, which should be received by the transmission control unit and which is included in messages arriving at the transmission control unit.
  19. 20
A control method for a ring-shaped network according to Claim 16 or 19, wherein each transmission control unit detects abnormality existing in a processor connected thereto and each transmission control unit does not erase a message received from the network in case the transmission control unit falls in such a state as not to be able to receive a message when the abnormality is detected.
  20. 21
