Process for the preparation of dispersible colloidal systems of amphiphilic lipids in the form of submicronic liposomes

Process for the preparation of colloidal dispersible systems of amphiphilic lipids, in the form of submicron oligolamellar liposomes, whose wall is constituted by lipids and optionally of a substance A and whose nucleus is constituted by water or an aqueous solution , and optionally containing a substance B, characterized in that: (1) a liquid phase consisting essentially of a solution of the lipids and optionally of the substance A in a solvent or a mixture of solvents is prepared, and may contain the substance B in solution, (2) a second liquid phase consisting essentially of water or an aqueous solution of the substance B is prepared, (3) the first phase is added, with moderate stirring, to the second phase, so as to obtain ,a colloidal suspension of liposomes, (4) if desired, removing all or part of the solvent or mixture of solvents and water, so as to obtain a colloidal suspension of desired concentration of liposomes. Applications: drugs, cosmetics.
