p0001The invention relates to a remote control arrangement according to the preamble of claim 1.
p0002With the ever increasing number of remote-controlled devices in a household and the different transmission systems for the transmission of remote control signals and the number of loaded in a household remote controller is so large that the assignment of the remote control transmitter to individual remote-controlled devices by the user is no longer manageable. Therefore, there is the desire to combine several remote-controlled electrical devices to a device group, which can be detected and adjusted by a single remote controller. It is known for example from the magazine radio show, 1985, Issue 18, pages 54 to 58 to operate television and VCR from one manufacturer with a single remote. In another, from the radio show in 1982, No. 10, pages 63 to 66 known radio receiving and -wiedergabeanlage five remote-controlled electric devices are connected together to a device group. Only one of the units of this group includes a remote control receiver and controls the system this device group. The other devices of known devices group are connected via remote control cables to the remote control receiver containing the device to the device group. The corresponding remote control transmitter includes on its front panel for each remote controlled device to the device group an optically differentiated keys group all remote functions of the associated remote-controlled device. By this measure, the number of remote controller for remote control contained in the device group remotely controllable electrical devices though are substantially restricted. On the other hand, however, is the large number of controls on the the device group associated Fernbedienungsg boar so great that a technically not preformed in the art user of such a remote control transmitter is very difficult to use this remote control transmitter.
p0003On the other hand, it occurs more frequently that in a household, a remote-controlled electrical device occurs multiple times and the user intends to remotely like this remote-controlled electric devices overlapping in time. For example, in a household a VCR currently used for playing a videotape and simultaneously use a second video recorder from the same manufacturer to receive a video program, there is a risk that this will affect a device through the use of remote control transmitter of another device and set up in the wrong functions.
p0004The invention is based on the object at a use of remote-controlled electric devices that are remotely controlled via the same remote control signals to ensure that only the selected remote-controlled device to a group similar remote-controlled device is influenced. This object is achieved according to the invention by the features stated in the characterizing part of claim 1.
p0005The measures according to the invention is achieved that not only one Ferbedienungsgeber is required for a group similar remote-controlled electrical appliances, but also that the number of the controls on the front panel of the remote control transmitter only slightly, namely only to the number of controls for selecting the is remotely controllable electrical devices increases.
p0006The sub-claims indicate advantageous embodiments of the invention. Are in the address signal generator of the remote control transmitter on the one hand and in the remote receivers of the remote-controlled via the same remote control signal devices on the other hand the same selectable addresses stored, only simple or no mechanical devices for adjusting a the remote control receiver characterizing address are provided on the remote control receivers required and on the remote control transmitter, the adjustment means for Selects the reference controlled electrical appliance also be easily configured.
p0007The invention is detailed below using advantageous embodiments. In Figures 1 and 2 of the accompanying drawings two remote control arrangements are shown as exemplary embodiments of the invention, each in a block diagram schematically.
p0008The device group shown schematically in Fig. 1 by the circuit blocks 1, 2 and 3 consists of a remote control transmitter 1 and of two remote-controlled electric devices 2 and 3. The remote control transmitter 1 includes a control panel 4 with a group of buttons shaped control elements 5, in which a user he enters selected settings for the remote-controlled electric devices 2 or. 3 These inputs converts a commander 6 in input commands EB and transmits these signals to a transmission signal generator 7 of the remote control transmitter 1. In addition, the operation panel 4 includes a button 8 which is used to select the remotely controlled electrical appliance. This key 8 illustrates a switch 9, which controls an address memory 10 in an address transmitter 11 of the remote control transmitter. In the open state of the switch 9, a first address A1 is effective in the closed state of the switch 9, a second address A2 of the address memory 10 is effective. Upon receipt of an input command EB of the transmission signal generator retrieves 7 from the address encoder 11, an address signal AS from containing the effective address A1 of the address memory 10, and forms it into a remote control signal 12 which is formed of an address part AT and a command portion BT and by a transmitter element 13 is wirelessly transmitted to the remotely controllable electrical devices 2 and 3. FIG.
p0009Each of the remotely controllable electrical devices 2 or 3 including a remote control receiver 14 with a receiving element 15, the wirelessly transmitted remote control signals 12 receives the remote control receiver 14 and supplies. The remote control receiver 14 also includes an address memory 16 with the same addresses A1 and A2 as the address memory 10 of the address generator 11 of the remote control transmitter 1. The second address A2 of the address memory 16 of the remote control receiver 14 can be effectively switched by a soldering or switching bridge 17th Without this jumper the first address A1 of the address memory 16 is effective. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1 in the first remote-controllable electrical appliance 2, the first address A1 is effective and the second remote-controllable electrical appliance 3, the second address A2 effective. The remote control receiver 14 values from only the received remote control signal 12, the address portion AT contains the address (A1, A2) which is switched to be effective in the address memory 16 of the remote control receiver fourteenth Thus, the remote control receiver 14 of the first remote-controlled electrical device 2 evaluates only remote control signals 12 from whose address portion AT containing the first address A1, and forms from the command BT this remote control signals 12 and the commands StB terminating the first remotely controlled electrical appliance. 2
p0010In FIG. 2, a further device group with two remotely controllable electrical devices 2 and 3 and a common remote control transmitter 18 is illustrated schematically by the Schaltungsbblöcke 2, 3 and 18. Corresponding circuit blocks are marked in Figures 1 and 2 by the same reference numerals. The remote controller 1a of the device group shown in Fig. 2 differs from that in Fig. 1 illustrated remote control transmitter 1 essentially in that the control panel for each selectable and remotely controlled from the remote control transmitter of electrical equipment 2, 3, a selection button 18, 19, 20, includes the selection buttons actuated switches 21, 22 and 23 and a key memory 24 which stores the operation of the last operated mode key (eg 21) and the last operated switch assigned address (eg A1) of the address memory 10 in address encoder 11 switches effective so long until another switch 22 or 23 is operated. Before a remote control of the remote-controlled electric devices 2 or 3 by means of adjustment elements 5 on the operation panel 4 of the remote control transmitter must 1a first by pressing one of the selection buttons 18, 19 or 20, the remote-controlled electrical device 2 or 3 are selected to be operated remotely. If this selection is made, all subsequent setting commands to the selected address (eg A1) to be completed to remote control signal 12 in the transmission signal generator 7th
p0011The remote control receiver 14a of the remote controllable electric devices 2 and 3 contain an address memory 25, which does not contain any address in the unprogrammed state. In this address memory 25 to the remote control receiver characterizing address is A1 or A2 triggered by the remote control receiver 14a, program sequence contained in the remote control receiver 26, during which the 14 characterizing address is input A1 or A2 or A3 to remote recipients stored in the address memory 25th The stored in the address memory 25 of a remote control receiver 14a addresses A1 or A2 or A3 must of course comply with the stored in the address memory 10 addresses of the address generator 11 of the remote control transmitter 1a. The triggering of the program sequence 26 in the remote control receiver 14a and the input of the remote control receiver characterizing address, for example, by means of existing controls 27 and 28 of the local operation of remote-controlled electric devices 2 and 3 are entered, accordingly, no additional adjustment to the remotely controllable electrical devices are required and the triggering of the program run is 26 triggered merely by pressing a certain combination of these controls 27, 28th
