Superconducting wire structure.

Abstract

A wire structure according to the present invention has a buffer layer between an insulating layer and a superconducting ceramic wire body. Since this buffer layer does not chemically react with the superconducting ceramic wire body at a high temperature, the buffer layer does not cause the superconducting ceramic wire body to lose the superconductivity thereof during the formation of the wire body.

9 claims: 2 independent, 7 dependent

  1. 1
A structure of a superconductive wiring comprising an insulating layer, a buffer layer formed on said insulating layer, and a wiring pattern having a wiring strip formed of a superconductive ceramic material containing at least one element selected from the group consisting of scandium, yttrium and lanthanides, at least one alkaline earth metal, copper and oxygen, wherein said buffer layer is formed of a substance hardly reacting on said superconductive ceramic material in a high temperature ambient.
  2. 9
A structure of a superconductive wiring comprising an insulating layer, a buffer layer formed on said insulating layer, and a wiring pattern having a wiring strip formed of a superconductive ceramic material containing a plurality of elements selected from the group consisting of scandium, yttrium and lanthanides, a plurality of alkaline earth metals, copper and oxygen, wherein said buffer layer is formed of a substance hardly reacting on said superconductive ceramic material in a high temperature ambient.
