Flexless telephone system

A cordless telephone, consisting of fixed and handset (FT, MT), is expanded to a private branch exchange. Each handset (MT) exchanges with the hard part (FT) a device-specific identifier and can therefore be identified by a switching controller in the fixed part (FT). The hard part (FT) also contains a switching network that connects the handsets (MT) with each other, with trunks (AL) and other extensions. The signal processing lines of each handset (MT) run in the fixed part (FT) in parallel and are summed in the high-frequency area at the transmitter end and separated at the receiving end. Therefore, a fixed part (FT) maintains the connection with a plurality of mutually independent handsets (MT).
