Sound damping element.
Abstract
The sound damping element consists of two load-resistant parts (10, 12), provided with attachment means (28, 36), and an elastomer intermediate body (16) connecting them. It is used for the mounting of heating pipes, air channels, machines and the like. In order to increase the load capacity, especially by lateral forces, the lower part (10) has the shape of a socket with attachment means (28) on the edge and a central opening (26) which is arranged at a distance from the circumferential wall (22) of the inner cavity (14). A wide, flat base part (18) of the upper part (12) is gripped over therein by the edge of the opening (26) and is surrounded on all sides by the intermediate body (16). The attachment means (36) on the upper part (12) are fitted outside the opening (26).

The invention relates to a sound absorbing element consisting of two provided with fastening means, contract fixed parts which are interconnected by one of them largely enclosed intermediate body of an elastomeric material, for the storage of heating pipes, air ducts, aggregates, machines and. Like ..
Such a sound absorbing element is available under the brand name MÜPRO sound insulation commercially. It consists of an upwardly tapered cup-shaped base with a threaded hole in the middle of the floor and an upper part which protrudes in the form of a threaded bolt upward from the lower part. The known sound insulation is suitable for receiving vertically acting loads, however, as it provides only a point support, for simultaneously receiving horizontal forces unsuitable. Upon the occurrence of transverse to the threaded bolt directed forces that together with the attached parts of a tilting movement, which is often undesirable. This flexibility in transverse forces is equal because of rotationssymmmetrischen structure in all directions.
The invention has for its object to provide a sound absorbing element of the type described, which by the construction form is suitable for holding relatively large loads already, and take particular greater lateral forces than the previously customary Sound insulation is capable.
The above object is inventively achieved in that the lower part essentially has the shape of a box containing multiple fasteners at the edge and a central opening which is spaced from the peripheral wall of the inner cavity, and that the upper part with a foot part, by the edge of the opening is overlapped, an intermediate distance from all the boundary walls of the internal cavity of the elastomeric filling this intermediate body is enclosed and outside of the opening bears on a fixed head part connected to the foot with a plurality of spaced apart fasteners.
In contrast to the prior art the new sound insulation element, in view of the fastening means is not at points, but a flat shape. With spaced-apart mounting means, for. Example, fastening holes both in the bottom part and the top part reliably prevent tilting movements of these parts relative to the parts respectively attached thereto. The design of the lower part in the form of a preferably flat box in connection with an essentially plate-shaped foot part causes tilting moments with increasing tilting movement elastomeric a rapidly growing resistance through between the base part and the boundary walls of the inner cavity of the lower part locally compressed as a result of transverse forces intermediate body is opposed.
It is understood that the mounting of the Schalldämmelements can also take place in an inverted position such that the lower part is over the upper part. The assembly on vertical walls is possible.
In many applications, it is known from the outset that transverse forces occur solely or principally in a single direction. In a practical embodiment it is therefore provided that the lower part with its inner cavity and its opening and the top of his head and foot have an elongated shape and extend parallel one above the other and each other. When mounting the sound insulation is installed so that its longitudinal extent is aligned with the transverse force occurring.
By the feature that the foot portion of the upper part is overlapped by the edge of the opening of the lower part, on the one hand achieves the desired stiffness against tilting movements, on the other hand the safety that even when the hanging arrangement, ie with the upper part down, the two support fixed, preferably from steel, cast iron, aluminum or other metal existing parts will still remain engaged when the intermediate elastomeric body is damaged by overloading, fire or other external influences.
To maintain this positive engagement of the two contracting solid parts, these need not be assembled from several individual parts. Rather, a design is preferred in which the foot in its length although longer than the opening in the lower part, but only so long that it can be inserted into the opening in the base when assembling the parts of Schalldämmelements in skew or partially rotated position.
An embodiment of the invention will be explained hereinafter with reference to the drawing. Show it:

Figure 1 is a sound absorbing half in side view and half in longitudinal section.

Figure 2 is a plan view of the upper part of the Schalldämmelements of FIG. 1.

Figure 3 is a cross-section according to section line III-III in Figure 2 through one half of the symmetric with respect to the longitudinal center plane of the upper part..;

Fig. 4 is a plan view of the lower part of the Schalldämmelements of FIG. 1.

The sound insulation element shown in Fig. 1 consists only of two molded metallic parts, namely a lower part 10 and an upper part 12. They are thus connected to each other, that the bottom part 10 in an internal cavity 14 includes an elastomeric body 16, a foot portion 18 of the top 12 wraps.
The lower part 10 has according to FIG. 1 and 4, an elongated, substantially rectangular base plate 20 with rounded narrow sides. In the central region a flat, rectangular in the example, tin with a mean, substantially rectangular opening 26 in the upper boundary wall of the base plate 20 forms, together with integrally molded-on side and upper boundary walls 22 and 24 of the internal cavity 14 24. The marginal edges of the opening 26 come to be in the longitudinal direction of the lower part 10 extending lateral boundary walls 22 close relatively, while 26, a relatively large distance between the transversely of the base 10 extending lateral boundary walls 22 and parallel thereto edges of the opening.
The base plate 20 is just to the wall thickness of the lateral boundary walls 22 wider than the internal cavity 14 but is substantially longer than this. In the overhanging areas near the ends of the base plate 20 are bearing eyes with Be mounting holes 28. In the example, the underside of the base plate 20 is indented slightly throughout the central region so that only specified by dashed lines in Fig. 4 end portions of the must be applied and edited the sound insulation element supporting surface.
The upper part 12 has a substantially longer headboard 30 as foot 18. In between lies a perforated transition region 32 which tapers from the head 30 to the foot 18 towards. The foot 18 has according to FIG. 1 and 2 essentially has the shape of a rectangular plate with Verstärkungswülsten 34 to the transversely extending end edges. In the assembled state according to FIG. 1, the base portion 18 extends in the middle range and level parallel to the baseplate 20 in the inner cavity of the lower part 10 and is completely in the elastomeric body 16, the z. B. may be made of polyurethane, embedded. The transition region 32 is located in the region of the opening 26, and the head portion 30, at its ends bearing eyes are mounted with threaded holes 36, extending in its longitudinal alignment with the same central longitudinal plane parallel to the base plate 20 to the lower part 10. The head part 30 forms a beam with T-shaped cross section. Its length including the bearing eyes with threaded holes 36 is dimensioned so that the fastening holes 28 are not covered in the base plate 20 but are freely accessible.
The length of the foot part 18 is greater than the length of the opening 26, the width of the foot portion 18 but narrower than the width of the opening 26. Since the transition region 32 in the longitudinal direction substantially narrower (shorter) than the foot portion 18 and the opening 26 can the two parts 10 and 12 are placed in the manner to the procedure shown in FIG. 1, that the foot part in inclined position, that is, tilted in the longitudinal direction, inserted through the aperture 26 partially, then shifted in the longitudinal direction, then inserted with the other end edge and is finally brought into the central position shown in FIG. 1.
If the shorter side edge of the base part 18 are designed arrowhead-like, there is also the possibility of the foot 18 with diagonal introduce 26 aligned arrowheads for rectangular opening, and then the upper part to rotate parallel to the bottom 10 in the position 12th
It is understood that the parts 10 and 12, within the scope of protection claims also have a different shape than the drawn embodiment.
