Light aircraft

Abstract

A light aircraft has a parachute-wing (6) which supports a carriage (1). Motive power is provided by an engine (3) which drives a single propeller (4). Propeller torque reaction is compensated for by permanent adjustment of the relative lengths of the rigging lines (7) which support the carriage (1). This allows the aircraft to be balanced so that control of flight can be effected without difficulty.
