Wire incrusted with abrasive grain and method for producing the same

A wire incrusted with abrasive grains character­ized in that it is produced by preparing a cylindrical metallic body having a metallic rod (2) inserted into the central part of a metallic pipe (1) with a gap formed between the rod and the pipe, then filling the gap with mixed powder comprising metallic powder and abrasive grains (3) having a Mohs hardness of 6 or more, and after that, applying hot working and cold working to the cylindrical metallic body before removing the above-­mentioned outermost metallic pipe (1).
