A complete change disposable comprising means for fixing the loop type and claw also known as VELCRO.
Complete disposable diapers after use, for infants or incontinent adults, are generally formed of an absorbent mass consists of a mat of cellulosic fibers obtained, for example by dry defibration of paper pulp; the absorbent material is placed between a generally impermeable backsheet and a liquid-pervious topsheet intended to come in contact with the skin of the user. In the case where the support sheet is itself permeable, sealing is achieved by incorporation of a liquid impervious sheet between the absorbent mass and the support sheet.
The maintenance of the exchange around the waist of the infant or adult is generally assured by fasteners lateral adhesive which consist of a strip or tongue-shaped rectangular section whose end is firmly attached to the backing sheet on the rear upper part of the exchange, and the section free end is coated with an adhesive substance pressure sensitive, protected by a silicone paper.
At the time of implementation of adjustment and of its attachment around the waist, separating the portion of adhesive-coated from its backing paper and binds the rear part to the front part, on each side, applying the surface adhesive-ties on the support sheet in the ventral region.
This method of fixing is simple and economical realization, and is relatively reliable. however it has some drawbacks: - If the surface is soiled by adhesive-foreign material, it loses its power partially or fully adhesive, resulting in less resistance to fixing the stresses to which it is subjected during the port change. To avoid this, the mother, for example, must ensure to maintain the surface adhesive-sharp once the protective sheet removed, it must ensure not to apply the fingers on the surface or as talc or body fat will come drop it. This is not easy when it comes to maintaining at the same time a baby. - Current adhesives offer only a reduced number of possibilities to temporarily undo the fixing to move the attachment for example in order to adjust the exchange or check its status. - Depending on storage conditions, the adhesive can alter.
It was suggested alternate methods for not utilizing an adhesive substance. Thus the patent application FR 8401333 and its certificate of addition FR 8416844 advocate the use of fixing means of the type known as VELCRO and consist of two complementary elements, ç'est ie, an element lined with a plurality of loops between which grip the ends of hairs provided with asperities in the form of hooks or claws, which is the second cover member.
According to this patent, the edges opposite the same side of the mattress changes are provided with a pad or loop gripper and their connection is provided by a half-belt fabric loop or claw additional pavers precedents. This eliminates the disadvantages mentioned for with adhesive fasteners. Can bind and loose fasteners at will without fear of altering their properties of adhesion; they also risk any damage by foreign matter. This method of fixing this however the disadvantage of being more expensive, which limits its development.
Known also by patents or patent applications, GB 1428572, US 3081772, US 3141461, US 4402690, US 3359980, WO 83 / 03,754, clothing for babies, diapers, all fabric - which are therefore not intended to be discarded after one use -for which there are provided Velcro type fastening means.
Pavers are sewn on the front of the garment, and side clips complementary material are sewn at one end to each of the side panels or are fixed on the inner face of the rear part. Such solutions can not be transposed simply to articles disposable, not least by the manufacturing process, the cost should be for these, as low as possible.
The invention relates to a complete disposable exchange comprising means for fastening the loop type and claw of which a first loop member or gripper is integral with the backing sheet, characterized in that the second loop member or claws, complementary to the first is mounted on the free end section of a tongue secured to the support sheet.
Preferably, the first member is a loop member, for example a pad of mesh fabric scraped, and the complementary element forming part of the fastener is to claws.
The advantage of such a provision is to allow a simple and effective mounting of the second element with the means already known for achieving with adhesive fasteners. In particular, the element can be fixed by simple gluing by means of a hot melt adhesive, for example.
Another advantage is the significant saving of material it authorizes. Indeed, the size of the clip claw member can be limited to that strictly necessary to ensure the fastening function.
By choosing a flexible tab material but little deformable, it ensures a uniform distribution of shear forces on the connection between the element and the tongue, thereby limiting the risks of detachment of the element. This result could be achieved if we stared this element of small dimensions directly on the sheet-supporting outdoor, polyethylene generally, which is flexible but weak the shear forces cause then a deformation of the support which leads to loosening progressive binding.
Furthermore, with the solution of the invention, one can choose an outer tie sheet bonding area as wide as is necessary to prevent the creep of the sheet material, without having to increase the size of the element.
The invention will be better understood and other advantages will appear on reading the description of an embodiment which follows, accompanied or drawings:

- Figure 1 shows a complete change disposable according to the invention

- Figure 2 is an enlarged view of one of the clamps

- Figure 3 is a sectional view along III-III of Figure 2

- Figure 4 is a partial diagram of a fastener of the mounting device on the exchange.

Figure 1 shows a complete change disposable designated by reference 1; it is seen from the side intended to come into contact with the skin of the user. It includes a mattress absorbent 2 of substantially rectangular shape, made of a material absorbent cellulosic fibers, for example obtained by defibration of dry pulp, enclosed between an outer support sheet 3 and a liquid-permeable sheet 4 for come into contact with the skin. The materials are generally a polyethylene for the support sheet, and a nonwoven fabric obtained by direct spinning for the sheet 4, but other materials are also used. The support sheet is usually impermeable, but it may also have a certain permeability and be associated with an additional impermeable sheet disposed between itself and the absorbent material. The two sheets are bonded together to form a closed pocket. The mattress can comprise cutout rounded corresponding to the contour of the thighs of the user, and be provided in this area, on either side of the absorbent mass, elastic strands or other means allowing a good adaptation to the anatomy of the user, and avoid leakage.
The mattress has side fasteners, 5 and 6, close to the edge 21. These fasteners comprise a tongue 51, 61 of rectangular shape, linked to the mattress by an end section, and made of a flexible and non-deformable material. It may be a polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester, paper, a nonwoven or a laminate structure composed of two or more layers of the foregoing materials. It may be for example a nonwoven fabric manufactured by spunbonded polyester associated with a polyester film.
According to the invention, the fastener comprises also, a fastener VELCRO type 52, 62 attached to the face of the tongue situated on the side of the sheet 4, close to its free edge. This element is preferably bonded by gluing, but it can also be welded.
Near the edge 22 opposite the edge 21, the mattress comprises at least one element type fastener VELCRO 8, complementary to the elements mounted on the fasteners. This element is linked by bonding or welding to the support sheet. Preferably, items 52, 62 ties are of the claws, and the element 8 is loop type such as a mesh fabric scraped.
According to the embodiment shown, the element 8 is rectangular and extends over a substantial part of the mattress width to provide sufficient room for adjustment at the establishment of the exchange. However, other embodiments are conceivable, for example two or more paving-like elements may be arranged appropriately on this front face to enable an optimum adjustment of the fasteners 5 and 6.
The fastener 5 is shown in more detail in Figures 2 and 3. The tongue 51 is bonded to the support sheet, along an end section, via a continuous or discontinuous layer of an adhesive which is preferably of the hot melt glue. The element 52 with claws is fixed to the tongue via a continuous or discontinuous layer of an adhesive substance 55 that can be the same as the previous one. The element 52 is set slightly back from the free edge of the tongue 51 to arrange a band gripping 54. This band can be obtained by folding the end of the tab on itself and form a bead and facilitating entry of the fastener.
The clip 6 is made in the same manner as the fastener 5. It includes a tab 61, a claw member 62 secured to the tongue by a layer of adhesive 65, and a gripping strip 64.
In a variant not shown, the end of the clip can not be applied to the external face of the support sheet, but disposed between the support sheet and the permeable sheet, so that the connection of the attachment to mattress offers a greater resistance to tearing.
Is shown in Figure 4, the example of a device enabling the achievement of fasteners according to the invention and their connection to the mattress.
A ribbon 10 is unwound from a coil mounted on a reel, its width is equal to the length of the tab fasteners. A pistol 12 with two nozzles set width deposited melt glue along two parallel strips. It is obviously possible to apply glue along a single band. Then, the ribbon 14 material constituting the element claw, is unwound from a coil mounted on a second reel, and deposited on the adhesive-coated portion of the tape 10 provided for this purpose, with application of pressure by passing between the rollers 16.
The double tape reaches then to a cutting station and transfer which comprises in a manner known per se, a knife 18 cooperating with a drum 19 partially perforated whose inner volume is kept in depression. This drum causes at regular intervals, a fastener cut by the knife 18 and will place it on the film 20 of polyethylene constituting the support sheet exchange, where it is fixed through the adhesive layer.
In the variant in which the fastener is connected between the two sheets of the envelope, the film 20 on which is deposited the fastener may be the film material or film permeable for the substrate, and the coating of adhesive material may be performed directly on one of the two films.
