Monitoring device.
Abstract

The invention relates to an emergency power supply device according to the preamble of claim 1 and a method with which this emergency power supply means is operated.
In known emergency power supply equipment, the problem is that the individual consumer, in particular emergency lights or security lights and the like must be kept reliably in operation during a power failure of a battery. In the past, it was checked in consumer operability by abandonment or by visual inspection.
The object of the invention is to provide an apparatus and a method for use of the device, in which a central monitoring and central battery is present.
This object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.
The method by which this emergency power supply unit is operated is to extract the features of claim. 4
Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are disclosed in the dependent claims.
Due to the device according to the invention, it is now possible to provide a central battery, also to reach beyond that individual consumers no longer need to be verified by visual inspection, but that the functionality of each individual consumer through central control, evaluation and recording of each test center to a location displayed or logged.
Reference to the drawing in which an embodiment of the invention is illustrated, the invention will be explained and described in more detail.
It shows: the sole figure is a schematic representation of a circuit arrangement of an emergency power supply device according to the invention.
The emergency power supply device has a central unit 10, which is connected via a supply 11 to the common power supply (mains). Via a supply line 12 with a transformer 13, which is then not needed if the mains voltage is equal to the battery voltage, and via a switching circuit 14, the current of the general supply of a bus bar 15 is supplied, which is housed in a distribution sixteenth The switching device 14 has a switch 17 with which the connected to the busbars 15 output 18 of the changeover to the supply line 12 and the other is connected again to a further line 19, which is connected on one side to a charging unit 20 and the other with a set of accumulators 21 is. About the power supply 11, a controller 22 is jointly supplied to the changeover switch 14 via a signal line 23 from the drawn in the figure standing in the broken place, with which the battery 21 are connected to the connecting line 18th
At the busbars 15 within the distribution 16 more circuits are 241 or 24n , said in these circuits respectively fuses 251 or 25n are arranged. The individual circuits is one data line 261 or 26n assigned.
About the individual circuits 241 or 24n be 27 or 28 powered consumer. The consumer 27 is a fluorescent lamp and accordingly the load is an inverter 27 29 upstream of which is suitable for supply with alternating current as well as direct current. The consumer 28 is a light bulb, so an inverter is not required.
The consumers 27 and the inverter 29 and the load 28 is in each case one monitoring device associated with 30 and 31 respectively, whose output signal via a connecting conductor 32 to the data line 261 or 26n is supplied (in the single figure is the connection line 32 to the data conductor 26n connected). The data manager 261 or 26n are connected to an evaluation and testing device 33 which has a pulse generator 34, a monitoring device 35 and a display device 36th To power the busbar is 15th
About the pulse generator 34, a power failure will periodically simulated, fed through a connecting line 37 the control device 22 with which the switching device 14 is actuated, so that the battery 21 is used for powering the loads 27/28. The monitoring devices 30 and 31 monitor both the inverter 29 and the fluorescent lamp 27 and the incandescent lamp 28, and the check result, the signals via the data line,26n is given to the test facility 33, is displayed on the display device 36th At the beginning of the test and test cycles, the data lines are first tested for interruption and short circuit. Thereafter, each of the individual monitoring devices 30 and 31 is requested, the signals "error-free operation" or "fault" are detected and processed. Here, the result can be displayed or logged either visually or by binding pressure. There is also the possibility that the facility 33 via data lines 38 (see figure) to be connected to central monitoring equipment, such as in the area of building control.
In addition, as shown in the figure likewise, also a push-button switch 39 may be provided in order to manually initiate a test cycle at the central unit 10th
