Switching system having capability for telecommunication conference.

Abstract

A switching system having a capability for telecommunication conferences, including therein, at least, a speech path memory (24), a mixing circuit (41'), and a feedback circuit (101, 102). The speech path memory (24) is operative to store therein voice data signals provided from subscribers holding a conference. The mixing circuit (41') is operative to mix each two voice data signals. The feedback circuit (101, 102) is operative to feed the thus mixed voice data sigals back to the speech path memory (24) to accumulate therein each set of the mixed voice data signals for each subscriber except each own side voice data signal, whereby the subscribers receive respective accumulated voice data signals.

  1. 1
A switching system having a capability for telecommunication conferences, comprising:a multiplexer circuit (22) being operative to multiplex in time division a plurality of voice data signals transmitted via respective lines;switching means being operative under control of central control equipment (26) and including, at least, a speech path memory (24) being operative to sequentially store the thus multiplexed voice data signals from said multiplexer circuit (22);and a demultiplexer circuit (28) being operative to demultiplex the switched voice data signals and transmit the same to subscribers via respective lines, characterized in that a mixing circuit (41) and a feedback means (22,28;101,102,41') are further introduced in the system, the mixing circuit (41) is operative to mix each two said voice data signals, and the feedback means (22,28;101,102,41') is operative to feed the thus mixed voice data signals back to said speech path memory to write again the fedback voice data signals therein, in which the related mixing and feedback operations are achieved to accumulate the thus mixed voice data signals in said speech path memory for each of the subscribers by using the individual voice data signals except each own side voice data signal, and each of the thus accumulated voice data signals is returned, from the speech path memory (24), to respective subscribers via the corresponding lines.
