Cartridge case ejector.
Abstract
The invention relates to a disposed in a closed space battle Hülsenauswerfer for end socket a teitverbrennbaren cartridge case. In order not to hinder the process performed by an automatic loader loading a cartridge 101 comprises the Hülsenauswerfer 100 a to holding arms 12,12 ', 13, 13' suspended tray 10, which is pivotable between a receiving position and an eject position. In the receiving position, the shell 10 receives the end socket 102 of the fired cartridge, and, with this pivoted by actuation of a consisting of cylinder 14 and piston 15 hydraulic device in the eject position, in which the shell 10 of an opening 6 in the armor 5 faces. Thereafter, a chain 18 with a cap 19 is set in motion, which offset a surge of resting on the tray 10 end socket and this so removed through the opening 6 from the combat area. 2 In this ejection position the Hülsenauswerfer 100 is so far from the breech end of the gun 3 that a charging process can be performed by a charging machine.

The invention relates to a Hülsenauswerfer according to the preamble of claim 1.
Stub sleeves are known for example from U.S. Patent No. 4,159,678 of the applicant. Stub sleeves are part of a teilverbrennbaren cartridge case that also the 120 mm in the ammunition modern tank cannons, for example - cannon of the battle tank Leopard II is used. While most of the combustible propellant charge case mitverbrennt when firing the cartridge, which consists of metal stub casing is ejected after opening of the closure member from the loading chamber of the weapon tube and must be removed without endangering the crew.
A known, also realized in battle tanks Leopard II solution provides offset the solid from the weapon barrel stub pods in a sleeve case which is arranged in the battle space behind the weapon barrel. However, this sleeve case prevents Einbäu an automatic loader.
The invention has for its object to provide a novel Hülsenauswerfer which also conveys the ejected from the barrel end sleeves quickly and safely from the battle zone and claimed so little space at the same time that the installation of an automatic loader is made possible, the performance and thus the combat power the gun significantly increases.
This object is achieved by the invention defined in claim 1.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are apparent from the subclaims.
The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawings. In which:

Figure 1 shows a longitudinal section through the combat zone of a battle tank and arranged in this battle space Hülsenauawerfer;.

FIG. 2 is a front view of Hülsenauswerfers viewed from the forth barrel.

Fig.-1 is shown in longitudinal section, part of a battle space 2 of a battle tank 1 facing parts of the weapon system and the Hülsenauswerfer. The battle space 2 is protected by the armor. 5 The left part of the figure, a part of the weapon 3 of the battle tank 1 can be seen together with the breech 4 shown in the open position. The Hülsenauswerfer 100 is pivotally arranged between a receiving position and an eject position. The recording position of Hülsenauswerfers 100 is shown in solid lines, while the ejection position of Hülsenauswerfers 100 only indicated dash-dotted lines. The Hülsenauswerfer 100 umfabt a shell 10, which immediately after the closure side opening 7 of the gun 3 is disposed in the receiving position of Hülsenauswerfers 100 and may the solid from the weapon 3 end socket, which is not shown in the drawing field, in this way. FIG. 2 shows a front view of Hülsenauswerfers 100 viewed from the gun barrel ago. Especially from this figure can be clearly seen that the shell 10, for example consists of parts of a cylinder jacket, which are matched to the circumference of the male end socket with respect to their curvature. In the shell 10, connected to the support arm 13 flap 11 is further arranged which is folded out in the receiving position of the Hülsenauswerfers 100 from the surface of the shell 10 and is perpendicular to the top. This flap 11 serves as a stop for along the bore axis of the weapon 3 extracted stub sleeves. The shell 10 is pivotally connected at a total of four support arms 12, 12 ', 13, 13' mounted, which in turn are mounted on fixed in the combat zone 2 axes 17, 17 'rotate. A 15 consisting of cylinder 14 and piston hydraulic drive unit which is articulated to at least one of the holder arms 12 on the one hand fixed in the interior of the combat space 2 and on the other hand, allows for a pivoting movement of the tray 10 from the receiving position to its ejection position, which, as already mentioned, in is shown Fig. 1 dash-dotted lines. In this ejection position the tray 10 is in a plane above the holding position against a disposed in the armor 5 of battle space 2 opening 6 through which the stub casing still on the tray 10 can be ejected from the combat area. 2 It should be noted that in this discharge position in the receiving position, acting as a stop for the end socket flap 11 in wes is collapsed public in the contour of the shell 10, and thus no longer prevents ejection of the end socket through the opening. 6 The means for ejecting the stub casing from the opening 6 comprise a circulating chain 18 which carries at least one driver 19, 18, the stub casing resting on the shell 10 continues depleted when circulation of the chain and accelerates so that it out of the opening 6 in the armor 5 is thrown out.
As is shown in FIG. 1 further clearly, is the Hülsenauswerfer 100, in ejection position above the bore axis of gun 3, DAB whose cargo space is applicable freely accessible and preferably a new cartridge can be recharged by an automatic loader. While the components of the automatic loader are not material not shown in the invention, the contour of a newly supplied cartridge is dash-dot indicated to illustrate that the Hüleenauswerfer located in discharge position 100 does not hinder the loading process. After loading the cartridge 101 and the completion of the Abfeuerungsvorgangs pivots the tray 10 in the receiving position and back again is for receiving a stub sleeve 102 ready.
