p0001The invention relates to a bicycle rack, the at least two interconnected legs which are arranged approximately parallel to the carriageway plane and between which the bicycle is kept.
p0002Such a bicycle carrier is already known from GB-PS 9492/95. This known bicycle racks holding the bike firmly on one of the tires on the front or rear end of the wheel. However, this bicycle rack is not suitable to keep the bike safely. It can further with this bike not be protected against theft bicycle.
p0003It is an object of the invention to eliminate the disadvantages mentioned above. The invention is characterized mainly in that the legs are designed to accommodate the pedal crank of the bicycle and that the legs are attached to an approximately perpendicular to the road plane attachment device.
p0004The invention is illustrated in the drawing for example, and FIGS. 1-5, an embodiment of the holding device according to the invention. Fig. 1 shows the holding device in a front view and FIG. 2 in a side view. Fig. 3 is a plan view, and in Fig. 4, the holding device is shown in section. Fig. 5 shows schematically the invention as it can be used in practice for parking a bicycle. FIGS. 6 and 7 show two further embodiments of the invention.
p0005The bike has, according to FIG. 1 - 5 on an anchored in the bottom mounting bar 1 at which the holder is attached 2 eg by welding or bolts. The fixing rod 1 is substantially perpendicular to the ground or the road.
p0006The holding device 2 consists essentially of two legs, namely, the outer leg 3 and the inner leg 4, which counter to the insertion direction of the pedal crank 15 extend (see FIG. 5) and are parallel to the road plane. The road surface is the common tangent 6 of the two wheels of the bicycle 5.
p0007The two legs 3, 4 are formed in the embodiment shown here by U-shaped bending of a metal sheet and fixed to the mounting bar 1 as a connecting piece, for example by bolting or welding. If the receiving slot 7, in which the crankshaft 8 of the gearbox 9 can be inserted between the two legs 3 4. The leg 3 is bent over at least a part of its length obliquely outwards (part 10), whereby the insertion of the bicycle crank is facilitated. Furthermore, the leg 3 is extended upward and bent inwards so that it engages the bottom bracket 11 via (flap 12). This tab 12 is prevented in the Haltevorrichtung latched crank bicycle upwards herausgezogen be, when the pedal 13 from the crankshaft 8 herausgeschraubt is.
p0008At least one of the legs 3 or 4 has a recess 14, or the like through which a bicycle-securing safety chain. may be drawn to secure the bicycle to the bicycle holder against unauthorized removal. The inside of the legs 3, 4 is coated with a rubber or plastic coating 16 in order to avoid the one hand damage to the crank and the other, to make the state of the bicycle in the bicycle racks safer.
p0009The operation of the above-described construction will be described: When the bicycle is parked the left pedal is initially 13 brought into the lowest position. The bicycle is then pushed into the vertical down (left) crank in the retainer 2, so that the existing of a rigid material legs 3, 4 enclosing the crank.
p0010This type of construction allows for the most varied mounting options and a wide variety of materials. With foreknowledge of the legs 3, 4 of the holder with a bore 14, can be pulled by an CYLINDER LOCK, and attaching a strap 12, the bicycle is secured against theft, since neither the bicycle is pushed back even when disassembling the pedal the bicycle upwards can be pulled out.
p0011Begins the outer leg 3 of the holder at a height of 15 cm and ends of the inner leg 4 at a height of 22 cm, this fixture can be used for all common types of bicycles.
p0012Further embodiments of the bicycle holder according to the invention are shown in Figs. 6 and 7. The to in Fig. 1 - 5 analog parts have like reference numerals.
p0013The two embodiments shown in Figs. 6 and 7 differ in that in Fig. 6, the fixing rod 1 is arranged on a fastened with the bottom of bottom plate 17, while extended in Fig. 7, the fixing rod 1 and anchored to the extended portion in the bottom is.
p0014The two legs 3, 4 are simple rectangular metal plates which are attached to each one end to the mounting bar 1, for example by welding. The leg 3 is bent towards the side analogous to the illustrations in FIGS. 3 and 4. The legs 3 and 4 have the same paps, but are added to the mounting rod slightly in height arranged. The leg 4, which is closer to the bicycle or its sprocket sitting, a little deeper than the outer leg 3. This displacement ensures that bicycles can be inserted into the bicycle rack with deeper bottom brackets, but by the outer plinth leg 3, the necessary maintenance is ensured.
p0015For securing the bicycle against theft, the recess 14 is arranged here at a separate flange 18th This arrangement of the bore 14 to a greater distance from the bottom has the advantage, that the fuse can be fastened to the bicycle frame chain easier.
p0016Installation of bicycle racks as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, in a case easiest with screws, which is advantageous when solid road surfaces, such as concrete, asphalt, etc.. The attachment in the case of Fig. 7 is carried out in that the fixing rod 1 is inserted into a corresponding hole in the ground and this hole is then filled with settable material such as concrete.
p0017As previously said, the legs 3, 4 is set in the embodiments according to FIGS. 6 and 7 up to today. Preferably, the lower edge of the inner leg 4 is located at a height of 16 cm above the floor and the upper edge of this leg 22 cm above the floor. The outer leg 3 is offset by 1 cm down so that the lower edge and the upper edge 15 cm-21 cm above the ground or above the ground 6 located. These dimensions ensure that all common Fahrradtypen in the invention Fahrradhalter be parked can. Preferably, the base plate 17 as well as the flange 18 of a metal plate of 6 cm width in the embodiment of FIG. 6 and manufactured so that the parts 3, 4, 17 and 18 can be made of the same metal plate, manufacturing standard is and in terms of cost advantage.
