The invention relates to an antenna arrangement, in particular for radio reception, which is characterized by small spatial dimensions and extensive customization to the local reception conditions.
It has already become known a loop antenna whose conductors are embedded in a frame made of insulating material, which in turn od as a removable frame for a photograph. Like. Is formed, so that the loop antenna does not interfere in a room setup. It is also known, an arrangement consisting of two similar loop antennas in such a way that the antenna frames are selectively connected individually to achieve a certain directivity or via a coupling direction to achieve richteffektungsfxeien round reception to the receiver input. It is also known, two frame antennas at right angles to each other, z. B. in the manner of a cross frame, to be fixed and connected to the receiver entrance via a goniometer to receive directional reception. In the known arrangement additional switches are provided to use the frame individually or together for non-directional reception. However, the known cross-frame antennas are spatial structures with considerable space requirements. The invention solves the problem of the space requirement of a cross-frame antenna, in particular for round

Funkernpfang whose with their winding planes perpendicular to each other arranged single-frame antennas are selectively connected individually or via a coupling device,. reduce. According to the invention, the single-frame antenna is designed as an aerial frame antenna and the other single-frame antenna as a known provided with a winding rod antenna made of ferromagnetic material ίο lies with their main extent substantially in the winding plane of the aerial frame antenna. The antenna arrangement according to the invention thus has areal shape with a small spatial depth and is due to their small footprint especially as indoor and housing antenna. The directional characteristics of the aerial frame antenna and provided with a core, such as ferrite, loop antenna are perpendicular to each other in the inventive arrangement, as is the case with the known cross-frame antennas, and there is at selective connection of the antennas, eg. B. by means of a special switch, up to a certain extent, the possibility of interfering transmitter ■ 25 by sudden pivoting of the receiving characteristic by 900 hide. To achieve a continuously variable directivity, the loop antennas can be interconnected via an adjustable coupling device. The coupling device can in a known manner in the manner of a goniometer or resistors, for. As potentiometers, or be located either in the housing of the device to be connected to the antenna assembly or in a special Ge-.35 housing. According to another embodiment of the invention, the loop antennas are interconnected via a coupling device such that in the horizontal plane for the arrangement results in at least approximately a circular characteristic. The coupling device consists in a known manner of a circuit arrangement by which the phase position of the voltage of one antenna by 900 is turned. The coupling device for the loop antennas can be controlled according to a development of the inventive concept of the tuning device of a connected receiver such that the antenna arrangement has at least approximately round characteristic at each received frequency. The elements to be adjusted advantageously installed in the receiver housing coupling device are suitably mechanically coupled to the Abstimmitteln of the receiver or form part of a Mehrfachabstimmaggregates.
The new antenna arrangement is preferably installed in the receiver housing in such a way that the aerial frame antenna is arranged in a plane parallel to the housing front wall or to the housing base surface. In the conventional housing shapes and dimensions then results for the airframe antenna a relatively large effective frame area. Also, since the ferromagnetic core of the other antenna can be given a considerable length, this built-in antenna has a relatively large effective antenna height. In order to recognize the set position of the receiving characteristic, it is recommended to provide a display device in a conventional manner on the receiver housing.
The loop antennas of the arrangement according to the invention can be mounted without difficulty on a boundary surface of a room or piece of furniture. It is for example possible to form the aerial frame antenna as a framing of a window and together with the z. B. above or below 'the window arranged, provided with a core loop antenna with a connection device, for. B. socket to connect, which optionally contains a coupling device.
The invention and related details are explained with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, for example.
Fig. 1 shows a radio receiver in perspective view, a housing half is broken away. In the interior of the receiver housing ι an aerial frame antenna 2 is arranged with the housing front side 3 parallel winding plane. The frame antenna 4 provided with a ferrite rod lies in the winding plane of the airframe 2, and the supply lines of both antennas are guided to a coupling device 5. The coupling device 5 connected to the antenna input of the receiver can be set up for the selective connection of the loop antennas 2 and 4 to the receiver input or for their simultaneous connection. If the coupling device 5 od to achieve an adjustable directivity as a goniometer. Like. Is formed to adjust the goniometer on the device, a control element, for. B. a knob or provided by a slot out of the housing knurled disk.
In Fig. 2, a part of a house wall with a window 6 is shown from the inside. The airframe antenna 7 surrounds the window opening in the required number of turns, and its ends are led to an antenna socket 8. In the vicinity of which is equipped with a core j second loop antenna 9, which is also connected to the socket 8. A coupling device for the two antennas 7 and 9 can be arranged together with any operating elements either at the socket 8 or in the to be connected to the antenna device receiving device.
The antenna arrangement according to the invention is particularly suitable for medium and long-wave reception, and optionally for shortwave. According to a development of the inventive concept i?At the same time, the airframe antenna is designed as an ultra-shortwave antenna, in particular as a frame consisting of a single turn. For FM reception, this antenna will be useful by means of one of the receiver's wave switch
pressed contact to the receiver input, and a special FM antenna may be omitted if necessary.
