The invention relates to a tracked vehicle od. Like., In which at the front and / or rear end of the treadmills whose middle rollers are the support rollers of the upper strand, with the lower strand rising risers connect whose lower pulleys sit with the pulleys of the treadmills on the same axis.
In known tracked vehicles, the diameter of the pulleys of the lateral treadmills is equal to that of the lower pulleys adjoining the front or rear end risers chosen, the treadmills enclose the pulleys at each end with I8o ° and rotate parallel to each other with upper and lower run. The treadmills and the front and / or rear risers are selectively on and / or uncoupled from the drive. In this known embodiment, the front and / or rear risers are in contact with the ground when the treadmills touch the ground, so that the front and / or rear risers also run, ie are driven by the ground when the vehicle moves with the treadmills on a straight road. As a result, a very strong deceleration occurs or an increased drive power is required. Despite the very low for the arrangement of the vehicle body, low height and the simple and inexpensive construction of such vehicles, this disadvantage has meant that vehicles with such a chassis were not or hardly used in practice.
In order to avoid these disadvantages, the invention consists in that the deflection rollers at the front and / or rear end of the treadmills with its axis are higher than the axes of the middle rollers and that the diameter of these pulleys is chosen so that their top vertex with the top vertex the middle rollers closes and in a conventional manner equal to the diameter of the lower pulleys of the drive on and uncoupled risers.
This new design ensures that the front and / or rear risers do not touch the ground when the vehicle with the middle treadmills od on a flat road. Like. Moved so that the front and / or rear riser easily from the drive can be uncoupled and then no longer run. If necessary in hilly, uneven terrain, the risers can then be coupled to the drive, so that the vehicle is fully off-road. A special wheel gear for the locomotion of. Vehicle on even roads od. Like. Is not required. It is further possible by the inventive design to provide the middle treadmills on the outside with so-called elastic street shoes, so that the vehicle drives quietly and quietly on roads with a hard ceiling and does not damage the road surface. The front and or rear risers can be designed as a strong steel hinge bands, so that the vehicle can also drive over rock cliffs or other rigid obstacles in the field without damaging the belts occurs.
The known per se pivotability of the risers angled to the roadway or the ground is not hindered by the training of the invention, so that the position of the risers can be adapted to the terrain even with this construction.
Two embodiments of the invention are shown schematically in the drawing with Figs. I and 2 in plan view and side view.
According to these embodiments, on both sides of the vehicle in the usual way caterpillars I are provided, which rotate with their upper run and essentially with their lower run horizontally (parallel) to the ground. These crawler belts I carry the vehicle and are expediently designed as steel belts with a pad of rubber blocks or so-called street shoes on the outside. At the front and rear ends of these middle treadmills I further caterpillars 2 and 3 follow, which protrude in or against the direction of travel over the crawler belts I. These crawler belts 2 and 3 are also advantageous steel belts, but need not be provided with a support of rubber blocks, since they do not always run on the ground or a road surface. The bands 2 and 3 are formed weaker compared to the bands I, because they have to absorb any particularly large loads. The crawler belts 2 and 3 are arranged so that they rise obliquely at least with their lower run 2a and 3a forward or backward. It does not matter whether the front and rear crawler belts each side with its rear or front end between or outside the middle crawler belts I, as shown in FIGS. I and 2 show. One can also proceed in the arrangement so that, for example, the front bands 2 inside and the rear bands 3 are outside the middle treadmills I, so that the crawler belt assembly results in an unsymmetrical image in the plan.
The adjoining the front and / or rear end of the middle treadmill risers are further arranged in a conventional manner so that the lower pulleys of the front and / or rear risers with the pulleys 4 and 5 of the middle treadmills at the front and rear ends sitting on the same axes 6 and 7. The rollers 8 of the middle treadmills are at the same time supporting roles for the upper run of these bands. According to the invention, the axes of the pulleys for the middle treadmills and the front and / or rear risers are higher than the axes 9 of the middle pulleys, and also the diameter of these pulleys is chosen so that their tops parting with the top part of the middle pulleys, wherein the diameter of the pulleys of the middle treadmills is equal to that of the lower pulleys of the risers. This ensures that the risers do not touch the ground when the vehicle moves on a level road, so that these bands then no longer run when they are disconnected from the drive. At the same time, however, it is also achieved that the middle treadmills overcome smaller ground obstacles without difficulty, since these bands are at the front and rear end with their lower strand at an angle to the ground. It is therefore not necessary to couple the risers to the drive for smaller ground obstacles.
