Description:
The invention relates to a tub sound insulation profile referred to in the preamble of claim 1 protection type.
The edge region of conventional bath and shower trays is designed so that the substantially horizontal upper edge strip has a first, vertically standing turn and this in turn has an inwardly standing second horizontal turn. Trough profiles covering only one turn are known. These have the disadvantage of not fully effective in preventing sound transmission in recessed in recesses pans, since at least one Abbugseite can be in direct contact with the recessed wall for lack of coverage. In many cases, bathtubs and shower trays are set in wall niches, the light size of which is just about the bath dimension. When inserting the tubs, the tape, which is only glued to a turn, is then often rubbed off through the wall contact. It is obvious that the heavy trays are then left in the inserted position so as not to interrupt the work. Thus, not even the function of the glued on only one Wannenrdndbug soundproofing strip is guaranteed, since this is wholly or partially abused.
The baths and shower trays are mostly set to so-called level plugs with the edge of the bath, ie the second turn lies on about five or six dowels embedded in the walls. The direct contact of the unprotected edge of the bath with the supporting dowels results a considerable sound transmission.
As a result of their elastic consistency, bath sound insulation profiles tend to have internal tensions as a result of fitting them to the joints
to return to their level shape. It is therefore difficult to keep them, for example, at the inner edge with plug-in clips. In the case of gluing is to be considered that the adhesive force, for example of transfer adhesives, is limited anyway in cold tubs. The bonds dissolve before the tubs are set, which in turn puts the function of the tub sound insulation profile in question.
The invention has for its object to completely prevent the sound transmission in each bath or shower tray, regardless of the selected installation.
Diose task is based on a tub sound insulation profile of the type referred to innovation according resolved that the soundproofing profile is so wide that at least the largest part of the upper edge strip of the tub and all bends are covered. By such a three-sided applied sound insulation profile, the sound bridge is completely canceled, even if the 'edge of the tub is embedded in the wall or rests on level plugs.
The problem of internal tension of the soundproofing profile is overcome by the fact that the profile consists of a one-piece strip of material and has at least one longitudinal slit or perforation. A particularly suitable slotting consists in that the material strip on the outer or upper side in the glued state receives a longitudinal section which cuts through the material except for part of its thickness. But it can also be provided a plurality of spaced apart strips of material, which are held together by means of a cover sheet. Preferably, three are by slotting, perforation
, τ '4 -
or space provided separate width zones, two of which are the widths approximately matched. Thus, if the slightly bendable lines of the soundproofing profile come to rest on the more or less rounded edges of the bends, then the profile can be glued or attached without tension, whereby a tight fit is ensured. There is then no risk of erosion of the profile when inserting the tub in a wall niche more.
The wide profile section resting on the tub protects the visible tub surface from damage or can serve as a stop for the ceramic plates (tiles) during the plate laying work. After this work, this profile part can be easily removed by means of perforation or slotting.
The soundproofing profile is preferably made of a foam (plastic) or other sound-absorbing material, such as mineral fiber, felt, cork, textiles o. The like.
Embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows in a spatial representation and in section the edge formation of a tub with the upper edge strip 1, the first turn 2 and the second turn 3. In addition, a soundproofing of foam in a flat shape, as it comes from the supply roll shown. It is divided by two longitudinal slots, here in the form of V-shaped grooves 7 on the outside, in three width zones 4, 5 and 6. A dashed hatching indicates that the width zones 5 and 6 are covered for gluing on the bends 2 and 3 with an adhesive layer 8, which are provided for storage with a protective film, not shown.

FIG. 2 shows the soundproofing profile according to FIG. 1 in the glued or laid-on state before the displacement of the tub.
Fig. 3 shows another embodiment of a soundproofing profile with three separate, separated by joints foam strips, which are held together by a cover sheet 9. On the cover sheet 9, if necessary, the adhesive is also attached for gluing.
FIG. 4 corresponds to FIG. 2 and additionally shows how tiles 10 are struck on the overhead width zone 4 of the soundproofing profile.
Fig. 5 makes it clear how after the tiling of the wall \ the width zone 4 is demolished. After grouting is
; thus the remaining part of the soundproofing profile is not
more visible.
Fig. 6 also shows the tub edge provided with a soundproofing profile according to Fig. 2, which rests on a shoulder 11 formed on the wall and is embedded in a recess 12 of the wall.
