Description:
The invention relates to a cutting table for a three-knife cutting machine for three-sided trimming of book blocks, brochures od. DgL. by means of cutting blades which work against cutting edges of a cutting table, wherein the cutting table is formed of two on a guide rail of a machine frame in the transverse direction relative to each other displaceable support frame for receiving the lateral cutting bars and interposed one-piece filler pieces.
In known Dreimesserschneidemaschirien the material to be cut is guided under the knife, aligned and held by a ram on the cutting table, whereupon successively side knives prune the head and foot and a side knife the front of the material to be cut. This three-sided trimming is generally carried out according to the vibration cutting method with working against cutting edges knives.
In order to meet the different dimensions of the material to be cut, there is a need, when changing formats and the cutting table with its associated cutting strips the respective cutting

good format. For this purpose, cutting tables in various embodiments are known.
In DE-GM 85 24 091 a cutting table for a three-knife cutting machine is provided with three cutting edges under protection, which consists • of a one-piece, provided with inserted cutting edges cutting plate which is releasably fastened to a table support be. The adaptation to different Schneidgutformate done by replacing complete Srhnpiritisr.he and thus requires • ine variety of individual tables to be provided, which is associated with a considerable manufacturing effort and requires a complex stockpiling. When using complete cutting tables, it is also not possible to cut the outer edges of the cutting edges for all formats, but this is desirable in terms of proper chip removal. Remedy would bring a finer gradation in the table formats, but in turn would cause an unreasonable increase in the number of cutting tables.
It has also been proposed to design the cutting table for a format change such that different widths matched to the cutting material filling segments are assembled in a modular manner between lateral cutting strips bearing segments. Although this embodiment takes into account, with appropriate selection of the Füllsegemente a near-edge cutting and thus a trouble-free chip removal, especially larger table formats but make a variety of individual to be joined by screw wide and narrow segments necessary. In addition to a high production cost, this inevitably requires an exact alignment of the segments to each other, resulting in a costly installation in the cutting machine associated with high setup time.
Finally, the embodiment of a cutting table is known, find in the lateral support frame use, on which the side SchntHdleisten are detachably mounted and which are assembled for format change with one-piece filling pieces. In this cutting table as well as in the previously described a plurality of stepped filler pieces necessary with the disadvantage of high production costs and a complex stockpiling.
Allen mentioned cutting table designs also has the disadvantage that a change of individual cutting strips in case of wear only with considerable installation effort is feasible.
The object of the invention is to provide a cutting table of the generic type, which does not have the disadvantages of the known cutting tables, which in particular requires a significantly lower structural complexity to adapt to different Schneidgutformate and with the with regard to optimal chip removal always a near-edge cutting given at the cutting edges. In addition, a light, quick replacement of cutting strips to be ensured.
The object of the invention is achieved in that the one-piece filler pieces with different width cutting strips receiving cutting bar holders are assembled to form a cutting table and the cutting bar holder are releasably connected to the support frame.
Further advantageous features emerge from the subclaims.
Due to the possibility of combining different width cutting strip holder with different widths one-piece filler pieces, the construction cost can be reduced insofar as the variety of previously required filler, for example by using two differently wide cutting strip holders by half
can be made. In addition, there is a further significant advantage insofar as by assembling the different widths components in all resulting cutting material formats a close to the edge cutting on the cutting bars is possible.
The invention will be described below with reference to an embodiment with reference to the drawings. Show

For three-sided trimming of book block 1 is known to be used in a so-called DreimesserschneidemascHne a cutting table with cutting strips use against the cutting blades.
In the illustrated embodiment of a cutting table this is held by lateral support frame 2 evnc ir on one-sided dovetail-shaped guide rails 4 and 5r- -
indicated machine frame 6 engage and relative to each other on the guide rails are displaced.
According to the invention can be to adapt to different Scnneidgutformate the cutting table of one-piece differently wide Füllstücken 8 and flush with these adjacent lateral cutting strips 9 receiving cutting strip holder 11; 12 in preferably two different widths "x" and "y" together.
Both the filler 8 and the cutting bar holder 11; 12 are received together by the two support frame 2. In view of a quick, trouble-free replacement, which is required either in format change or wear, the cutting strip holder 11; 12 with an integrally formed longitudinal spring 11 '; 12 'in longitudinal grooves 2a of the support frame 2 and are fixed therein via a respective clamping and Positionierschrsube 14.
To insert the cutting bar holder 11; 12 to allow positioning in the longitudinal direction of the grooves 2a, the support frame 2 are provided with upwardly open slots 14 ', in which the clamping and positioning screw 14 engages closing.
The fastening of the cutting strips 9 in the cutting bar holders 11; 12 in the pre-assembly outside of the three-knife cutting machine via lateral clamping bars 15 which are connected to the holders 11; 12 are bolted.
For connecting the two lateral support frame 2 with the machine frame 6, two clamping claws 17 and 18 are provided, which are supported with lower stepped surfaces 17a and 18a on the guide rail 5 and enclose the guide rail 5 with the wedge-shaped recess 2b of the support frame 2 in a form-fitting manner. The setting of the support frame 2 with the cutting bar holders 11 and 12 after

The format adjustment is carried out by means of the clamping claws 17 and 18, through which clamping screws 19, which can be screwed into the end face of the two support frames 2, are inserted.
As can be seen from FIG. 2 in conjunction with FIG. 4, a clamping device is provided, which comprises a further central clamping claw 20 for receiving the front cutting strip 23, a clamping block 21 held away from the clamping claw 20, and a clamping screw 26 for connecting the clamping block 21 and clamping claws 20 , With an upper pin 21a of the clamping block 21 summarizes in a recess 8a of the FüLLstücks 8 and clamping block 21 and clamping claws 20 comprise together via offset surfaces 21b and 20a the form-fitting guide rail. 5 By tightening the clamping screw 26, the clamping device simultaneously causes the connection of the filler 8 with the machine frame 6 via the guide rail 5 and the holding of the front cutting bar 23 together with the two clamping claws 17 and 18 on the end face of the FüLlstückes. 8
Finally, the three clamping claws 17, 18 and 20 carry holding pins 25 onto which a supporting strip 24 carrying the front cutting strip 23 can be slipped.
As can be seen, the above-described structural design makes it possible to replace the front cutting strip and the completely assembled cutting strip holders as well as to assemble the differently wide filling pieces and cutting strip holders into cutting tables of different formats in a very short time unit, whereby the machine tool life and set-up times can be substantially reduced.
