"Electronic bite indicator for fishing in the dark"
The invention relates to a bite indicator, which indicates by means of a liquid switch the angler in the dark d-irch a light signal the bite of a fish. There are already several devices for dark fishing known. The most commonly used are, for example, the bell or the permanent light, which are attached to the top of the fishing rod. There are also electric sounders with buzzer and indicator, which are directly associated with the fishing line.
The disadvantages of the aforementioned devices are, for example, in the bell, that in several darkly designed fishing rods not immediately the signaling fishing rod can be determined, especially since the process from bite on the drill to landing the fish requires a certain amount of time and the bell during This process rings and thus by the Bimmelei the desired fishing peace is disturbed.
The duration of stay after the attachment to the rod tip constantly turned on, so that a relatively high battery consumption is incurred. In addition, a fine bite can often no longer be registered in the dark, as the constant illumination requires too much concentration.
In the acoustic signal transmitters, the device is directly associated with the fishing line, which has the disadvantage that can form entanglements in the fishing line, which hang in the suspension of the signal generator and thus a flawless line sequence is prevented. Even with the other indicators, since they are also associated with the cord, there is the same risk as in the aforementioned devices.
The advantage of this invention is that, for example, in the eel trap, which occurs mainly in the dark, a silent, responsive and precisely adjustable bite indicator has been provided.
The object was achieved in that a light signal transmitter is attached by means of a liquid switch at the top of the fishing rod, which can be rotated variably even in the attached state. This rotation is a fine setting achievable, whereby the minimum vibration of the fishing rod tip is signaled by a flashing.
An embodiment of the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing.

Figure 2: Assembled bite indicator in longitudinal section
With Fig. 1 a fishing rod tip (3) is shown, on which the bite indicator (1) with the mounting clip (2) is shown.
2, the bite indicator is shown completely in longitudinal section. The sleeve (4) contains a Flusenigkeitsx switch (9), an LED (1O), a resistor (β), 2 batteries (7), a screw cap (5) in which a compression spring is included, a mounting clip (2) and the Swivel mount (11).
Funktionsorinzip;
The mounting clip (2) is attached to the fishing rod tip (3). Thereafter, the bite indicator (1) is adjusted so that the liquid (6) does not come into contact with the contact (12). When the fishing-rod tip (3) vibrates, the liquid (δ) moves toward the contact (12) and thus closes the circuit, causing the LED (IO) to light up.
When the vibration is finished, the liquid (6) returns to its original position, causing the circuit to break and the LED (10) to go out. By a rotation of the rotary joint (11) upwards, the liquid (6) further away from the contact (12), so that even stronger vibrations, eg by wind and flow can be compensated. By unscrewing the cap (5), the positive contact is removed and the bite indicator is switched off.
