Electrically ignitable explosive cartridge
The invention relates to an electrically ignitable explosive cartridge arranged in a cup-shaped housing primary and secondary explosive charges and means for electrically igniting the Primärsprengladung.
Such blasting cartridges are used for example bsi firing systems of missile warheads to initiate the initiation. Since in such missile warhead development continues to require a higher level of functional reliability, it has become necessary to design the ignition means, in particular the electrically ignitable explosive cartridges, redundant.
In conventional ignition systems, this is realized by means of two separate ignition means, which are mounted close to each other and fire together on the other components of the downstream ignition chain. This method is relatively expensive and requires a lot of space and weight.
From DE-OS 28 16 299 an electric ignition device is known which contains at least one pyrotechnic delay set for igniting the Zündsatzes with two different delay times. This is a universal applicability to be achieved, as can be set longer or shorter firing times for Zündaysteme in rocket engines, explosive charges or the like.
The Erfildflung is based on the object to make an electrically ignitable explosive cartridge so that they two independent, at any time points without delay ignitable, to a common

has the same secondary explosive charge acting primary explosive charges, which are ignitable by two different, independent circuits.
This object is achieved in that the explosive cartridge has a Sekundärsprengladung, which can be triggered by two independently electrically ignitable similar primary explosive charges, which are arranged symmetrically to the secondary explosive charge and each have their own, mutually insulated connections.
In order to achieve a secure ignition, the partition wall between the primary charges is dimensioned so thin that when the ignition of one of the two primary explosive charges, the second Primärsprengladung is mitgezündet by the action of the first.
An embodiment of the invention is illustrated in the drawing and will be described in more detail below. Show it:
1 shows a longitudinal section through an electrically ignitable explosive cartridge.
Fig. 2 is a section through Fig. 1 along the line AA1; Fig. 3 is a section through Fig. 1 along the line B-B '.
In Fig. 1, an inventive embodiment of an electrically ignitable explosive cartridge is shown. On a glass body 1 serving as a base, the two initiation systems 2, 3 for the primary explosive charges 10a, 10b are mounted at a small distance from one another. These initiation systems are preferably used as thin

However, bridging systems with a bridgewire are just as possible.
The electrical connections 4 of the primary explosive charges 10a, 10b are potted in the region of the solder joints 5 with synthetic resin 6, as a result of which the connecting wires undergo strain relief. On the glass body 1, the explosive carrier 8 is attached by means of a Ringbuckelschwelßung 9 with the addition of a shim 7 made of rubber. Subsequently, the primary explosive 10a, 10b is poured into the chambers. The secondary explosive 11 is pressed as a pressing part in the explosive carrier 8. The explosive cartridge is closed by the cap 12, which is also welded by a Ringbuckelschweißung 13 or a laser weld 17 to the glass body 1. The attachment of the cap can also be done by a press fit.
For easier Ausfeuerung the cap 12 is diluted at its front side 14. The attachment of the explosive cartridge in the ignition system via the flange 15th
The particular advantage of an electrically ignitable explosive cartridge according to the invention is to be seen in the fact that a redundant ignition system was created, which is compared to the previous versions with two separate blasting cartridges particularly small, light and inexpensive to produce and replaced in a simple manner against previous, non-redundant blasting cartridges can be.
