Adjustable bedside table Patented in the German Reich from 22nd August 1929 onwards

The invention relates to a bedside table with height-adjustable table top.

The invention consists in that the blocking

and brake levers of the adjustable by racks table top sit on a common shaft and are simultaneously triggered by a hand lever.

As a result, compared to the known height adjustment by means of a screw spindle a faster adjustment of the raised and lowered table top is achieved, which may be of importance for patient tables. Also, a wobbling of the raised and unfolded table top is avoided, since the wedge-shaped brake lever, the racks, which in turn are firmly connected to the table top, also hold in the respective height position laterally.

The bedside table has doors α on its front and back in its lower part. Further, the upper drawer b can be pulled up to both sides, so that the bedside table can be placed on any bedside.

The bedside table has an upper table top c, which is hinged to extend the lower table top e by a hinge d.

Instead of a hand lever, for example, a push button can be used by means of linkage use.
