Motor-planter. Patented in the German Reich of 2f. June 1923.
It is known in seeders that the absorbed by induced suction grains are guided by a transport member on the seed tube and dropped there. In these known systems discs, arms u. Like. Used. According to the invention, the essential working member is a kind of bell, which, placed horizontally, rotates under vibration and with internal grooves,
aufo the soles of which are suction nozzles, is provided. From the .Saatguivorrat lying at the bottom of the bell are the. Grains are arranged longitudinally in the grooves by the vibration. So it is imperative to \rWhenever the suction nozzle is fl oating under an ifce of longitudinal grains, it must hold on to one of them, and then, because of its longitudinal position, guide it safely through the grain layer, because it finds the least resistance in the longitudinal position. In addition, this resistance is reduced to the lowest degree, since here only one thumb-thick layer of grains is present, while in the other systems, the pressure of a large portion of Sekerkcnkörnermasse makes the resistance considerably larger.
; The other systems also have the disadvantage that they do not place the grains equidistant in the earth because they produce the grain
Drop grain over the seed tube. In the seed tube the grain will more or less collide or fall free as a result of driving the machine, and above all, on) the ground, it will still jump and roll. In the present invention, all this is avoided, and thus the real purpose of the single-seed sowing is achieved: to sow out the smallest seed quantities with a uniform grain distance. The grain falls, arrived at the apex of the bell, from the groove in the passing underneath cell of an elevator, which continues the grain and drops it a few inches above the ground. In order to prevent further rolling, the web is corrugated by a corrugating roll.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the invention is shown> as follows:
Fig. Ι a side view, partially in section,
Fig. 2 a single view (section). On a bearing block a, which forms the Wcllenlager, a disc b is attached to which a diaphragm c is located. The disc is rotatable on the block, for example, this may be made possible by seated on the buckle tabs d with locking bolt. The twisting is used for arbitrary adjustment of the aperture. The disc is graduated at the inner edge (e) and has a passage at which a neck /7 followed. The bell sits on a bearing and has a hub h provided with Innengeλvinde; in this is stored in the Bock bearing shaft i. It is coupled by a cardan joint / with the drive. The bell also has a stepped (I) neck m and runs with this step in step c. The space enclosed by bell-top, disc h and neck »is the wind chamber sealed by the aforementioned step-engagement. At the stub f connects the wind line. At the lower edge of the open side of the bell there is a firmly fixed shelf o. A layer of seed, which steadily supplements itself from the storage box by a feed line, lies in the lowest point of the drum and keeps itself there constantly even when turning; the board borders them.
Grooves r (eg, three) are formed in the inner surface of the bell wall. The wind channels j go first radially in the ceiling, then joins each one running in the jacket channel t, and from each channel t suction nozzles u come into the grooves. At z. B. twenty channels S1 t thus result in 60 Ansaugstellcn. The drive of the shaft i is carried out by a motor v, which is arranged so that his gait pulses vibrate the shaft and thus the bell. By this vibration, the grains are influenced to longitudinal insertion into the grooves, and each grain also lays longitudinally in front of the nozzle υ, where it adheres. The Sauglochreihen now move up when turning the drum with three grains. As soon as it has moved so far that the associated channel input j passes behind the diaphragm c (the time for this can be set as desired by the adjustability of the disc Z), the wind is switched off and the three grains are released.
In the bell, a self-contained elevator enters zv. He rests on runners and on corrugating roller x, which riffles the saw while driving the machine. The elevator is rotatably mounted with its upper roller, so that it can swing out and yield to the unevenness of the ground or movements of the machine. On the chain links a cell is formed by a diaphragm: the three released grains fall into the cell, are carried over the grooved lane and dropped a few inches above it.
You can combine any number of bells with accessories in one machine: four are usefull.
