The invention relates to a carrying roller for a roller conveyor according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
Such a support roller is known from EP 01 21 021 B1. Here, the expansion element surrounds the axis and thus fills the space between the axis and inner wall of the support roller coaxially. Distributed over the circumference, a plurality of screw connections are provided, which cause a deformation of the expansion piece and thus the connection axis / support roller. For this purpose, a multiple and uniform tightening the screws is necessary and this work arises, of course, when loosening.
The invention has for its object to simplify the attachment and thus the expansion of the support rollers in the side cheeks of the roller conveyor.
The simplification is inventively achieved in that a spreader is deformed by a Spreizdruckstück by means of a central clamping screw. The support rollers themselves can be made from very cheap, inaccurate pipes and need not be pinned at the ends, as is required in the previously known support rollers for holding the camp. Each factory representative or the customer himself can sawn the idlers from a commercial tube, which need not be a precision tube, in the desired length and is not dependent on standard lengths of roller conveyor manufacturers. By exchanging spreading elements can also change the type of traction means, for. B. Chains in drive belts. The spreader may be provided with the protruding into the support roller end with slots, wherein the pressure surfaces of the Spreizdruckstückes for widening the spreader obliquely or can be conical. The expansion element may also have an expansion piece for an expansion sleeve which is clamped between a pressure surface of the expansion piece and a pressure surface of a Spreizdruckstückes by means of a clamping screw and which is pressed when tightening the clamping screw against the wall of the support roller. In order to make this possible, it can be slit in the longitudinal direction and also have alternating slots starting from both sides, which extend to a short connecting web remaining between the individual segments. The expansion sleeve can also be made of a plastically deformable material, wherein two expansion sleeves can be arranged one behind the other, so that the spreader is well supported at two ends in the support roller.
The invention will be explained below using an exemplary embodiment.
It shows
1 is a stepped cross-section through a conveyor track,
Fig. 2, the expansion sleeve of FIG. 1 and
3 shows the side view of the expansion sleeve according to FIG. 2.
The Fig. 1 to 3 show an embodiment with a metal expansion piece 12 for a metal expansion sleeve 14, which is pressed when turning a clamping screw 15 by an oblique pressure surface 13 a of Spreizdruckstückes 13 against an inclined pressure surface 12 a of the spreader 12. Between the head of the clamping screw 15 and a pressure abutment 12 b of the spreader 12 compression springs 20 are arranged. As the Fig. 2 and 3 show, the expansion sleeve 14 from both sides alternately up to a narrow connecting web 14 c reaching slots 14 a. In addition, it has a over the entire length of the expansion sleeve extending through slot 14 b, so that the expansion sleeve 14 can stretch easily, the width of the passage slot of about 3 mm to approx. 6 mm is increased. A provided with insertion grooves 24 e cover plate 24 is held by screws 23 on a side wall 3. The left spreader carries a gear 6 a for toothed belt traction means 7 a.
A support roller 5 itself is held by height-adjustable supports 1 on console plates 2 and side walls 3. With 4 a cross member is referred to, which connects the opposite side cheeks 3. By the side cheek 3, a stub axle 17 is guided, which supports the roller 5 via a roller bearing 16.
