The invention relates to a metering device for dispensing a liquid additive to the rinsing water in a cistern of a toilet flushing device, with an attachable in the cistern tank for Additional liquid, with an approximately U-shaped suction tube, one leg of the supplementary liquid in T ANK ter to near the bottom and the other leg when attached in the cistern tank into the rinse water the filled cistern projects and from above the maximum level of the flushing water until his lower end extending first suction pipe with a by a multiple larger inner diameter than the rest of second part of the suction tube has, with the bottom of the T ANK ters above the maximum fill level of the rinse water located in the cistern.
In a known dispensing device of this type (US-PS 37 84 058 US-PS 41 68 550 or GB-OS 20 65 738) is formed when emptying the cistern of the toilet Spüleinrich tion, a vacuum in the intake manifold through which the To set liquid, which is to a cleaning Perfuming and / or disinfecting agent may act, is sucked from the container of the metering device. The in each flushing with complete evacuation the cistern from the container of the metering device sucked amount of additional liquid in this case depends measure allegedly by the ratio of the flow areas of the two Saugrohrteile with different internal knife from. Since the Zusatzdlüssigkeiten often differed have Liche viscosities who can Durchflußquer section of the second, smaller inner diameter looking Saugrohrteils not chosen arbitrarily small , when an economical consumption of the additional liquid aimed at speed and only a small amount of additional liquid supplied to the rinse water during each flushing is to be set. The suction tube is on the reservoir Metering device mounted to the upper part of first Saugrohrteils with the larger flow area above the maximum level of the liquid additive located in the container to a continuous flowing on the auxiliary liquid at emptied cistern to re-filling of the cistern on the bottom end the first Saugrohrteils avoid addition. this leads to a relatively long first suction pipe with larger flow area and a correspondingly high cost of materials.
The invention has the object of providing a Dosiervor indicate the direction of the generic type, in which to easily with less material a small t nere amount of additional fluid into the flushing water dosier bar.
This object is achieved in that above the case attached in the cistern tank the interior maximum flush water fill level lying the first Saugrohrteils through a ventilation duct with a smaller passage cross section than the second suction tube in part with the outside above the maximum Spülwas ser-fill level is connected.
This solution is a part of the flushing by produced the falling Spülwasserspiegel in the intake manifold about having a negative pressure throttling effect reduced ventilation duct, so that not the full suction power acts on the additive liquid and a correspondingly smaller amount of additional fluid at each Spülvor aspirated passage from the container of the dosing device becomes. The extracted amount depends largely also from Ratio of the flow cross sections of the second suction pipe part and the ventilation duct from. When the cistern after a purging operation (automatically) refilled, is a part of the emerging in the intake manifold overpressure over reduced the ventilation duct, while the remaining About pressure still in the second suction pipe with the smaller Flow area remaining amount of Zusatzflüs fluid pushes back into the container. Even after a Reducing the excess pressure in the intake manifold flows the Zusatzflüs fluid does not by itself from the container into the purge water, even if the upper end of the second suction pipe partly below the level of the additional liquid is in the tank because of the passage cross section of Lüf is processing channel so low that once again Backpressure in the intake manifold builds when the auxiliary liquid speed on reaching the maximum filling level of the Spülwas sers endeavors in the cistern, ERS in the rinse water flow. In addition, this prevents the viscosity the additional liquid in conjunction with the narrow flow area of the second Saugrohrteils drainage the auxiliary liquid. The upper end of the first suction can pipe part with the larger flow area therefore relatively far below the maximum filling prior addition of liquid in the container Dosiervor direction, possibly below the container, are. Correspondingly low cost of materials for the suction pipe.
Although the can Saugrohrlüber the upper edge of the container be conducted across the metering device, but it is also possible for the first suction pipe in the bottom of the T ANK ters to secure press fit. In this way, Container and suction tube in a simple manner with each other are tightly connected without welding them or application only. According to that simple mold for the manufacture of the container and the suction pipe of synthetic material.
Then it can be provided that the first suction pipe partially open at both ends and with one end in a recess in the underside of the container bottom and the second suction pipe in a hole in the bottom of Depression is used. Both can Saugrohrteile therefore be easily manufactured separately. Thus, the first suction pipe from a longer tube and the second suction pipe of a longer hose be cut off. After mounting yet both Parts tightly connected through the bottom of the container.
Preferably, the duct is a radial bore below in the side wall of the first Saugrohrteils the maximum level of additional liquid in T ANK ter formed. Such drilling is easily manufacture, for example by means of laser beam.
It is advantageous if a second radial bore with the same diameter as the ventilation channel forming hole in the side wall of the first suction pipe partly at a distance from the lower end of the first suction is formed tubular member, which is about equal to the distance the first bore from the upper end of the first suction pipe partly is. In this way needs at the onset of first Saugrohrteils in the bottom of the container not to be paid to the correct position of the hole. Rather, the first suction pipe may either the in advance one or to the other end, the recess the container base are introduced.
It can further be ensured that the container has a Cover with a filler having, the one in the ground outer, end, formed in the filler neck Ver recess that surrounds a central feed opening, little having least one vent. Here is si chergestellt that for insertion or refill the additive liquid into the container of the metering device only an inflation bottle, preferably a plastic squeeze bottle, with an adapted outlet into the filler used and only an additional fluid with the rich term viscosity on or can be refilled and occurring when entering or refilling the tank Air pressure increase abge immediately via the vent building is.
Here, the recess in the filler neck, an annular groove be. The case at the bottom of the depression upstanding, by one side of the annular groove limited projection With appropriate design of the outlet portion of the Filler bottle a check valve in the outlet on initiated and the issue of additional liquid from the Filling bottle to share.
When the side walls of the annular groove diverge outwardly, ensure at the same time for a guided tour of the outlet the inflation bottle when preparing the filling.
The invention and its developments are below reference to the drawings of preferred embodiments described in detail. Show it:
Fig. 1 is a cross section of a flush tank of a toilet th-flushing with these eingehäng th metering device and the Outlet of a filling bottle and
Fig. 2 is a cross section of a modified portion of the dosing device according to Fig. 1.
After Fig. 1 is in the purge shown only partially box 1 a toilet flushing device with automatic shear refill the rinse water 2 to a vorbe agreed maximum level 3 a metering device 4 hooked, by at each flush a vorbe agreed amount of in a container 5 contained to set liquid - a liquid cleaning, perf mierungs- and / or disinfecting agent - in the purge water 2 is discharged.
For the dosage is approximately U-shaped suction tube 6 provided, one leg of the additional liquid ness 7 in container 5 up to close to the bottom 8th protrudes and the other leg into the flushing water 2 of ge filled cistern 1 protrudes. This other leg has one from above the maximum level 3 of rinse water 2 extending up to its lower end, first suction pipe 9 with a multiple of a size Ren inner diameter than the rest of the second part 10 of suction tube 6, Thus, the inner diameter of the suction tubular part 10 be less than 2 mm, and the inner diameter of Saugrohrteils 9 so much larger than the Inner diameter of the Saugrohrteils 10 be that to set liquid 7 during suction from the container 5 after exiting the second exhausting pipe 10 in the suction pipe 9 continues to flow as current.
The floor 8th the container 5 is above the maximum filling level 3 the rinse water 2 in cistern 1, Of the first suction pipe 9 with the larger inner diameter penetrated a hole 11 the soil 8th press-fit and ends above below the maximum level 12 the addition liquid 7 in container 5 and down above the ground the cistern 1But rises in the filled cistern in the rinse water 2,
Also, the suction pipe 10 is at one end in a hole 13 in an upper end wall 14 Manifold part 9 press-fitted. The exhausting pipe10 is produced as a flexible tube made of plastic and bent to be curved upper part above the maximum fill level 12 the additional liquid 7 lies.
The exhausting pipe 9 likewise consists of plastic and has in its sidewall-forming a ventilation duct drilling 15Which is above the maximum filling level 3 the rinse water 2 and below the bottom 8th the T ANK ters 5 and thus also below the maximum Füllstan of 12 the additional liquid 7 lies. The Durchlaßquer section of the ventilation duct 15 is smaller than that of the second Saugrohrteils 10Especially so small that the ventilation duct 15 practically acts as a throttle. In practice, the diameter of the ventilation duct 15 at about 0.5 mm or below.
The container 5 has also been translated in a press fit th cover 16 with a hole 17In which a filler 18 is inserted in snap-fit. The filler18 Has in its outer end a recess 19 in shape a concentric annular groove with outward or upward diverging sidewalls. In the bottom of the recess19 are vents 20 laterally adjacent to a central fill opening 21 provided that one by the inner Wall of the annular groove 19 limited outwardly projecting cone-like projection 22 interspersed.
For filling or refilling of the container 5 the Dosiervor direction 4 is a squeeze as plastic trained filler bottle 23, in the Fig. 1 only partially is shown, with a the filler 18 matched outlet 24 to the filling 18 recognized. The Off laßteil 24 has a medium outlet channel 25 with a check valve 26 and a conically outwardly flared end section 27, Of a conical section 28 the projection 22 fits. The outlet24 fits into the annular groove 19 and rests upon insertion into the annular groove 19 with the end section 27 the kegelförmi shaped section 28 and with radial webs 29 at the RDIAL outer sidewall of the annular groove 19 at which outlet channels 30 next to the webs 29 remain free and with the vents 20 related as by the dotted lines between the filler 18 and the inlet part 24 is indicated. The outer Endab section of the projection 22 has a smaller diam ter than the outlet channel 25 and abuts on insertion of the outlet portion 24 in the annular groove 19 the check valve 26 on. The additional liquid can then from the Füllfla cal 23 through the opened outlet channel 25 about the medium feed opening 21 the filling 18 in the container 5 the metering 4 stream. simultaneously is of the container 5 rising air pressure on the vents 20 reduced.
When triggering a purge of the cistern is 1 partially or completely emptied, so that the suction in pipe 6 above the rinse water 2 resulting vacuum the additional liquid 7 through the suction pipe 10 in the suction pipe 9 up in the wash water 2 sucks. simultaneity tig is on the ventilation duct 15 the vacuum in the suction tube 6 partially degraded, so that by the remaining Vacuum only a small amount (dose) of Zusatzflüs fluid 7 from the vessel 5 is drawn. If the filling was the rinsing water 2 the lower end of Saugrohrteils 9 below, the vacuum in the suction pipe is 9 dismantled immediately, so that no additional liquid more out of the container 5 is aspirated. Even though the maximum level 12 the additional liquid 7 in T ANK ter 5 above the uppermost portion of Saugrohrteils 10 would, although some liquid on the might continue suction pipe 10 from the vessel 5 drain as long as the filling level of the rinsing water 2 below the intake manifold part 9 lies, but the case outflowing amount due to the viscosity of the fluid additive 7 and small inner diameter of the Saugrohrteils 10 very low. Moreover, could even at permanently open held drain the cistern 1 only as long Additional liquid from the container 5 flow until the Surface of the auxiliary liquid 7 below the upper End of Saugrohrteils 10 or the upper end of Saugrohrteils 9 lies. In normal case, however, the cistern 1 automatically be filled again, so that the filling level of the rinsing water 2 in a short time the lower end of Saugrohrteils 9 exceed and, despite the ventilation duct 15, The suction pipe 9 About a pressure is built up of a continued flow of Zusatzflüs fluid 7 from the vessel 5 preventing and finally through the suction pipe 10 and the ventilation duct 15 reduced becomes. In a renewed flushing repeats also the dosing. By appropriate selection of Dimensions of the container 5Whose capacity may be about 0.6 l, and the inner diameter the Saugrohrteile 9. 10 and the ventilation duct 15 - of the Inner diameter of the Saugrohrteils 9 may be about 25 to 50 mm at a dipping length of 200 to 240 mm Betra gene - it is possible, during each flushing operation, only about 3 ml additive liquid 7 from the vessel 5 suck, so that the additive liquid for about 200 rinsing sufficient.
In the Fig. 2 partial illustrated, modified metering 4 differs according to the Fig. 1 essentially only in that the suction pipe 9 at open both ends and with one end in a deepening 31 in the ground 8th the container 5 press fit is used. Further, the suction pipe10 in a the bore 13 corresponding hole in the floor of the United depression 31 press-fitted. is In this way, it is possible also the suction pipe 9 in sections before specific length of a longer pipe cut. Also, the exhausting pipe 9 after Fig. 2 two ventilation channels 15, Namely one near the top and one near the lower end of the Saugrohrteils 9. wherein the distances of the ventilation ducts 15 of the jeweili Towards the end are approximately equal, so that the insertion of the Saugrohrteils 9 in the recess 31 not in the situation the ventilation duct 15 to be paid needs.
Another modification of the embodiment according to Fig. 1 can for example be that the Lüf relief duct 15 not in the side wall of Saugrohrteils 9. but as a bore in the end wall 14 after Fig. 1 with an inserted in this hole until about the maxi paint filling 12 the additional liquid 7 in container 5 is protruding hose or tube formed. Further it is possible, the exhausting pipe 9 is closed ground 8th outside the container 5 to be attached to this and the suction pipe 10 over the upper edge of the T ANK ters 5 or, when a lid 16 is provided by a hole in the lid 16 in the auxiliary liquid 7 protrude allow. The filler18 may be omitted and instead the hole 17 used as a filling opening be, said hole 17 initially represented by a circle plate can be closed, the liquid- a density frangible connection to the rim of the hole 17 connected and for refilling the container 5 in the Interior of the container is pushed.
