Arrangement of a fuel tank on a
The invention relates to an arrangement of a fuel tank on a agricultural or construction tractor, wherein the fuel tank rests in its lower region via a receptacle on a clutch and / or transmission housing of the tractor, to which the fuel tank of a substantially U-shaped trim box is surrounded.
In a known fuel tank assembly of the type listed in the preamble of claim 1 (DE-OS 15 30 734) serving as a receptacle for a fuel tank frame is elastically mounted on the chassis of a tractor. This elastically supported frame merges at its end faces in each case into a vertically extending part, wherein the sheet metal part facing the driver's cab of the tractor serves for fastening a dashboard and a steering column. In the frame, the Krafstoffbehalter, a battery and a tool box are arranged.
In this case, the frame is covered in a section adjacent to the driver's compartment by a trim box and in the remaining area by a hood. The fuel tank is attached to the frame while the trim box surrounds it with play; So there are special fasteners in the region of the bottom of the fuel tank required. In addition, the filler neck of the fuel tank protrudes through the hinged hood, so that for the unfolding of the hood either the cap of the nozzle must be removed or the filler neck must protrude through a particularly large opening in the hood.
It is an object of the present invention to avoid the above drawbacks, and to provide an arrangement of a fuel tank, which is characterized by particularly simple and inexpensive fastening means, with a vibration-insulated mounting of the fuel tank is possible.
This object is achieved on a fuel tank assembly of the type in question by the features listed in the characterizing part of claim 1. Due to the tension of the fuel tank by means of the trim box in the outer contour of the fuel tank adapted trough-shaped receptacle, the fuel tank can be securely fixed in its position in a simple manner.
The filler neck serving to fill the fuel tank penetrates the trim box. A proposed in another embodiment of the invention, the filler neck ring-like surrounding clamping buffer made of elastic material causes a vibration isolation between the panel box and fuel tank and seals the interior of the lining box from the filler neck. The clamping buffer may have a circumferential collecting channel, which is connected to a leak fuel targeted purge drain pipe.
To support the fixation of the fuel tank within the trim box and the sound attenuation can also be arranged between the trim box and a groove extending parallel to this in the wall of the fuel tank, a soft elastic profile band, in particular made of foam. Furthermore, the fuel tank can be made as a simple plastic molding, which is protected by the special design of the trough-shaped receptacle and the trim box against mechanical damage.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the fuel tank may have fastening tabs in the region of the end faces of the trim box, which are fastened via elastic bearings on the trim box. This additional attachment is particularly necessary if due to the expected use of the tractor with strong shaking loads of the fuel tank is to be expected or if due to the shape of the Krafstoffbehälters the footprint in the trough-shaped receptacle is relatively small.
For further explanation of the invention reference is made to the drawing, in which two embodiments are shown in simplified form. 1 shows a fuel tank arranged according to the invention, which is clamped into a trough-shaped receptacle by a trim box via a clamping buffer and an elastic profile, in a side view, FIG. 2 shows a front view of the fuel tank according to FIG. 1, FIG. 3 4 shows an arrangement of a fuel tank in which it is clamped by the trim box by means of an elastic profile in a trough-shaped receptacle and is additionally attached at its end sides via elastic bearings on the trim box, in the side view, and Fig. 5 is a partial view of the frontal attachment of the fuel tank in section.
In the figures 1, 2 and 4, as far as shown, 1 denotes a coupling housing of a tractor, on the insertion of rubber elements 2, a trough-shaped receptacle 3 is fixed. This trough-shaped receptacle 3 receives a fuel tank 4, wherein it is adapted in the area in which it surrounds the fuel tank 4, whose outer contour. Furthermore, the fuel tank 4 encloses a substantially U-shaped trim box 5, the legs of which are fastened to the coupling housing 1 via holders 6. By means of this trim box 5, the fuel tank 4 is internally clamped with the interposition of a soft elastic profile 7 in the trough-shaped receptacle 3 and thus attached to the tractor.
1 and 2 is also a filler neck of the fuel tank 4 ring-surrounding clamping jaw 8 is disposed between the trim box 5 and the fuel tank 4, which is also to transmit the clamping forces of the trim box 5 on the fuel tank 4 elastic. The special design of this clamping buffer 8 can be taken from the further FIG. 3, according to which the clamping buffer 8 has a collecting channel 10 surrounding the filler neck 9, which is connected to a drainage pipe 11 for targeted removal of leaked fuel.
In the embodiment of the invention according to Figures 4 and 5, the fuel tank 4 is provided in the region of the end faces of the lining box with additional fastening tabs 12 which are mounted with the insertion of elastic bearings 13 and retaining members 14 on the trim box 5.
