M Method and apparatus for cutting out windows in envelopes M
The invention relates to a method and a device for cutting windows in envelopes and bags, wherein in a Fensterauschneidstation an envelope and bag machine, a transport roller »? comprising supplying means for the blanks or the web, a cutting roller and a counter-tool and at least one further-promoting suction roll are arranged.
In known devices of the type of interest here, the blanks or the web are either tangentially fed to the interface on the cutting roller and removed tangentially, or they are zoomed in and out of the interface to the interface. Both methods have particular disadvantages. In the first case, it comes easily to a draft of the blank, since the flat sheet or blank is unstable.
Furthermore, it often happens that, especially in far outward windows in the direction of the
/2
Window lying part of the blank is sucked together with the waste. This then leads to a fault in the machine.
With arcuate inlet and outlet, the construction of the rollers is complicated because the knife is slidably mounted on the transport roller. The production of these rolls is therefore expensive. Furthermore, the Befensterungsbereich is narrowed due to the need to provide a leading squeegee. Even a lateral displacement of the window opening is not possible during the run. Finally, these machines usually have three vacuum rollers, which is associated with a large energy demand and considerable noise pollution.
The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a method for cutting out of windows in envelopes and bags and a Fensterausschneidstation this, with the help of which it is possible to work to a high degree without interference, even if the cutting roller is set up for windows at any Creating the blank to produce, with further adjustment during the run is possible.
To achieve this object, the invention provides that the blank is transported tangentially to the interface and is transported from there in the circumferential direction of the cutting roller and that the blank and the window waste are taken over by suction.

According to the invention thus a shallow inlet is provided with sliding transport rollers, wherein the cutting takes place at the end of the straight forward. The leading edge of the blank is then already arcuate and is thereby stabilized. Hierd urch turn, an exact acquisition by suction on the next roller is possible and there are no problems in the delivery of the window pane in a known funnel. As a result, therefore, a good separation of the window opening and the blank is achieved.
Further features of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims and the description in conjunction with the drawings.
The invention will be described below with reference to an embodiment which is shown schematically in the drawing.
A window cutting station 1 or device for cutting out windows in envelopes and bags in an envelope and bag machine comprises feed rollers 3 for the blanks 4 or web, further comprising a cutting roller 5 and a counter tool 6 and at least one further conveying suction roller 7. The cutting roller 5 has an adjustable in a basically known manner cutting tool 8 with at least one suction channel 9 for the window waste and a suction funnel 1o, and the counter tool 6 is a basically known manner
in the machine head 11 clamped ceramic rod or a square bar made of a suitable material or counter roll or counter blade.
As can be clearly seen from the single figure, the blanks 4 or the web are transported tangentially to the interface in the region of the counter-tool 6 and from there transported further in the circumferential direction of the cutting roller 5. Furthermore, the blanks 4 or the web and the window waste are taken over by means of suction air, this being done once directly on the cutting tool 8 for the window waste and on the suction roll 7 for the blanks or blanks.
Essential for the guidance of the blanks 4 or web is the fact that they are supplied in a straight line to the interface in the region of the cutting tool 8 and the counter-tool 6 and are continued from there arcuate.
To guide the web or blanks 4, a tangentially arranged guide plate 12 in front and a circumferentially facing guide member 13 are arranged behind the cutting roller 5. Furthermore, spring-loaded and friction-driven transport rollers 14 are located laterally next to the counter tool 6.
The shape and shape of the suction roller 7 is finally known and therefore needs no further explanation.
