The invention relates to a barbed wire according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
A barbed wire of this type (DE-PS 10 40 940) is inexpensive because of the existence of his barbed band of unalloyed steel and due to the relatively low strength of the barbed tape produced with relatively little effort, however, its blocking effect is limited and especially when used to secure protective structures not sufficient because the spiked tips can not be made so long because of the relatively soft material of the barbed tape, as would be required for a desired higher barrier effect. Because longer spike tips can be deformed and rendered ineffective without much effort.
The invention has for its object to provide a barbed wire according to the preamble of claim 1, which has a higher barrier effect without significant additional technical effort.
This object is achieved by the invention by forming the barbed wire according to the characterizing part of patent claim 1. With regard to further embodiments, reference is made to the claims 2 to 5.
The embodiment of the invention provides a cheap and easy to produce barbed wire with long slender, the blocking effect increasing spiky parts whose free spiked tips have such a high degree of dimensional stability that deformations are made more difficult with the aim to make them ineffective.
Sting parts in the basic form of approximately isosceles, very serpentine triangles delimited to form long free spiky tips of an outer longitudinal base edge of relatively long length and at very small base angles of leg edges which merge only near their imaginary inner intersection in a connecting part to the barbed tape are basically already known (US-PS 34 63 455), However, the training provided there the Stacheltei-Ie the use of high-quality, rigid material such as spring steel, which significantly increases the cost price and at the same time makes the processing considerably more difficult. Also, the processing requires a much higher machine cost, since the rigid material used to stabilize the spiked tips a form punching and buckling of the band part and its spiral winding a relatively high resistance opposes.
Several embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are illustrated in more detail in the drawing. to show individual
F i g. Figure 1 is a plan view of a portion of a barbed wire according to the invention with various configurations of the paired spiked pieces, F i g. 2 is a side view of F i g. 1, and
F i g. 3 to 5 sections according to the lines III-I1I to VV in Fig. 1.
The barbed wire according to Fig. 1 consists of a barbed strip, optionally galvanized steel sheet, the longitudinal strip part 1 in the form of a first flat and then crimped around a spring steel wire 2 strip and this one-piece, at intervals, one behind the other, from the band part 1 laterally projecting spiked parts 3.4 and 5.6 and 7, 8, respectively.
The spiked parts 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, regardless of their Endform- and -orientation shown in the drawing in the basic form of isosceles, very slender triangles of

10 °, and go only near their imaginary internal intersection in a connection part 11, which forms only a short connecting web The base edges 9 of the sting parts 3, 4.5, 6, 7 and 8 respectively
connect with the longitudinal center line of the spring steel wire 2 a small acute angle, which may be caused by a slight deformation of the connecting parts 11. The spiked parts 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are on both sides of the band part I each other unopposed in pairs opposite, but may also be offset from one another in the longitudinal direction of the gap.
The sting parts 3,4,5,6,7 and 8 are all provided with the free spiked tips stiffening beads 12, 13 and 1.4, which at the same time also the dimensional stability of
Increase stinger parts 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 in total. In the embodiment of the spiked parts 3, 4, these each have two beads 12, each of which extends along a leg edge 10. The leg edge 10 forms the outer Begrenzungskantc the bead 12th Instead, the spiked parts 5, 6 each have a single bead 13 running parallel to and close to their base edge 9, while finally the spiked parts 7, 8 have such beads 14 that run parallel to and along the base edge 9. Such, before the Endausrichtuiig the sting parts 5, 6, 7 or 8th longitudinally extending beads 13,14 can be advantageously formed by continuous passage of the spiked parts by pairs of rollers manufacturing technology, whereas the beads 12 are formed by embossing operations using stamping dies.
The spiked tips 3 'and 4' of the spiked parts 3,4 are in each case bent together to one side of their sting and out of sting part to sting part in opposite directions from the central region, while the spiked tips T and 8 'within their associated sting part 7, 8 alternately are angled towards opposite sides of the central region of their sting. The bending direction changes from sting part to sting part within the opposite pair. The spiked parts 5, 6 have the simplest orientation without any turn.
In addition to or instead of the spiky parts can also be entangled as a whole by Querverdrehen their connecting parts in space, such as
verο illustrate this example, the dash-dotted lines 5 ', 6' in Figure 2. The Verschränkungswinkel can be chosen largely arbitrary.
For laying to spanking or locking the barbed wire according to the invention is known
is helically wound into a bundle and the turns alternately clamped together in places, so as to bring about a positional fixation even with exploded turns to facilitate laying and also to improve the recombination during removal.
