The invention relates to a holding frame for connector modules according to the preamble of independent claim 1.
Such holding frames are used to hold connector modules, the holding frame being equipped with various connector modules and then inserted into a connector housing and screwed to it. The holding frame must be mechanically stable in order to be able to withstand the plugging and pulling forces that occur when joining or disconnecting the plug connection.
State of the art
From the <de-docref CY="DE" DNUM="19707120" KI="C1">DE 19 707 120 C1</de-docref> a holding frame for connector modules is known. The holding frame consists of two halves that are connected to each other via a joint. Snap-in hooks of the connector modules engage in recesses in the side surfaces of the respective half. The joint or the end joints are arranged in the fastening ends of the holding frame. When the holding frame is screwed onto a fastening surface, the frame parts align themselves in such a way that the side parts of the holding frame are aligned at right angles to the fastening surface. As a result, the connector modules are fixed in the holding frame.
The holding frame of the <de-docref CY="DE" DNUM="19707120" KI="C1">DE 19 707 120 C1</de-docref> has no clearly defined open position for fitting the holding frame with connector modules. This sometimes results in a somewhat bulky assembly, especially for inexperienced people.
If the holding frame is successfully fitted with connector modules, it must be brought into a closed state or into a closed position so that the connector modules are fixed. There is no fixed closed state for the closed state of the holding frame of the prior art, so that the holding frame can open accidentally, as a result of which the modules can fall out of their anchoring.
Due to a pure articulated connection there is no defined electrical contact between the halves of the holding frame. As a result, the holding frame cannot be used for grounding purposes.
The <de-docref CY="CN" DNUM="204205152" KI="U">CN 204 205 152 U.</de-docref> shows a holding frame which consists of two halves which are hinged together. The halves can be brought into an open angular position in order to equip the holding frame with connector modules. Here you have to work against the force of a spring. The restoring force of the spring pulls the halves<b>1</b>, <b>2</b> after the assembly back into a closed position.
The <de-docref CY="CN" DNUM="201656162" KI="U">CN 201 656 162 U</de-docref> shows a holding frame, which consists of two halves, which are connected linearly via a spring. The halves can be linearly pulled into an open position to populate the holding frame with connector modules. Here you have to work against the force of a spring. The restoring force of the spring pulls the halves back into a closed position after assembly.
Working against the spring makes the assembly process of the holding frame difficult, because on the one hand the halves have to be fixed by hand and at the same time the connector modules have to be inserted.
The <de-docref CY="DE" DNUM="202012103360" KI="U1">DE 20 2012 103 360 U1</de-docref> shows a holding frame, which consists of two halves, which can be locked together by linear displacement of one frame half relative to the other frame half in two different locking positions. However, the connector modules can drop through a linearly opened holding frame during assembly.
Task
The object of the invention is to propose a holding frame that is easy to handle and versatile.
The object is achieved by the characterizing features of independent claim 1.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.
The holding frame according to the invention is intended to accommodate connector modules. The holding frame is then installed in a connector housing or screwed to a wall surface, for example a machine.
The holding frame consists of two halves that can be connected together. Each of these halves has a side surface and an end surface. The two halves roughly define a separation plane in their contact area, which runs parallel to the long sides of the halves.
The halves can be aligned with one another in at least two positions. As a rule, the alignability is realized by an articulated connection, which is described in more detail below.
The holding frame has at least one fixing means and the halves can be fixed in at least two positions relative to one another, an open position and a closed position, by means of the at least one fixing means. In the open position, the holding frame can be fitted with connector modules. In the closed position, the connector modules are fixed in the holding frame and can no longer slip or fall out, for example when the holding frame is installed in a connector housing.
By open position is meant that the halves are at an angle along the dividing line <b>α</b> are not equal to 180 ° to each other. The angle is preferably between 130 ° to 170 °. An angle between 155 ° and 165 ° has proven to be particularly advantageous. In this angular position of the halves, the connector modules can be inserted particularly easily into the holding frame. In the closed position , the halves are at an angle of approximately 180 ° or exactly 180 ° to one another. The halves are parallel to each other in the closed position.
The end of the holding frame advantageously has a pivot point, the connecting line of the pivot points forming an axis of rotation which runs parallel to the side surfaces of the halves. The halves of the holding frame can be rotated along the axis of rotation and aligned with one another. The pivot points are usually formed by a joint head that is guided in a suitable joint holder and • is described in more detail below.
The first half of the holding frame has at least one joint head and the second half has at least one matching joint holder. The joint head of the first half can be engaged in the joint holder of the second half, whereby an articulated connection of the halves can be provided. Due to the articulated connection, the halves of the holding frame can be aligned with one another.
Alternatively, the first half can have two rod ends, which are generally arranged on the respective end faces of the half. The second half then has two matching articulated receptacles, into which the joint heads of the first half can be engaged. Two end joints give the articulated connection mechanical stability.
According to the invention, an articulated arm is on the articulated head or an articulated arm is molded onto the articulated heads. The articulated arm is or the articulated arms are connected to or molded onto the first half. A press nose is formed on the articulated arm or on the articulated arms.
According to the invention, the second half has two depressions in the area or in the vicinity of the joint receptacle or two depressions in the area or in the vicinity of the respective joint receptacles. The press lug can be pressed into the two troughs or the press lugs can be pressed into each of the two troughs, as a result of which the halves can be fixed to one another in at least two positions, an open position and a closed position. As a result, the articulated frame is reliably fixed in two positions, an open and a closed position. The technical means required for this purpose are molded directly onto the halves of the articulated frame, so that the holding frame proposed here does not require any further components in comparison to the prior art and nevertheless offers further advantages. The solution proposed here is simple and inexpensive to implement.
The fixation described above works with a so-called overpressure and is therefore particularly reliable.
The halves are preferably made of a metallic material. In a closed state, the halves are in electrically conductive contact with one another. This means that the articulated frame can also be used for grounding purposes.
In the present invention, the terms open or closed state and open or closed position are used synonymously.

The figures contain partially simplified, schematic representations. In some cases, identical reference numerals are used for identical but possibly not identical elements. Different views of the same elements could be scaled differently.
The <figref>1</figref> shows a holding frame <b>1</b> in a closed position.
The holding frame <b>1</b> consists essentially of two halves <b>4</b>, <b>5</b>that have a joint <b>2</b>, <b>3</b> are interconnected. A half<b>5</b> has an articulated head on the respective end faces <b>2</b>, <b>2'</b> on, in a designated joint holder <b>3</b>, <b>3'</b> the opposite half <b>4</b> intervenes. One speaks here of an articulated connection of the two halves<b>4</b>, <b>5</b> of the holding frame <b>1</b>.
In the <figref>2</figref> and <figref>3</figref> becomes an enlarged section in the area of a joint <b>2</b>, <b>3</b> of the holding frame <b>1</b> shown. The rod ends provided at the end<b>2</b>, <b>2'</b> are each via an articulated arm <b>6</b>, <b>6'</b> on the respective halves <b>4</b>, <b>5</b> molded. On the respective articulated arms<b>6</b>, <b>6'</b> is a so-called press nose <b>7</b>, <b>7'</b> molded. The joint head<b>2</b>, <b>2'</b>, the articulated arm <b>6</b>, <b>6'</b> and the press nose <b>7</b> together form approximately the shape of a flat cone.
The second half <b>5</b> of the holding frame <b>1</b> forms two troughs in the area of the articulated connection <b>9</b>, <b>9</b> , 10, 10 '. In total there are four such troughs, each side comprises two, on the second half<b>5</b> intended. The ones described above on the first holding frame<b>4</b> molded, press noses can be in the two troughs <b>9</b>, <b>9'</b>, <b>10</b>, <b>10'</b> intervene or can be pressed into it. This makes the halves<b>4</b>, <b>5</b> in at least two positions, an open position (<figref>2</figref>) and a closed position (<figref>3</figref>), fixable to each other.
Every face <b>11</b>, <b>12</b> of the holding frame <b>1</b> has two troughs, a first trough <b>9</b> and a second trough <b>10</b>, in the area of the articulated connection. In the respective pairs of hollows<b>9</b>, <b>10</b> can use the press noses mentioned above <b>7</b>, <b>7'</b> intervention. Are the press noses<b>7</b>, <b>7'</b> in the first hollow <b>9</b> is the holding frame <b>1</b> fixed in an open position and can be used with connector modules <b>19</b> be equipped. Are the press noses<b>7</b>, <b>7'</b> in the second hollow <b>10</b> is the holding frame <b>1</b> fixed in the closed position so that the connector modules <b>19</b> can no longer fall out and / or slip.
The open and closed position is indicated by stops in the holding frame <b>1</b> secured. The second half<b>5</b> each end has a first stop <b>13</b> and a second stop <b>14</b> on. The articulated frame<b>6</b> the first half <b>4</b> has corresponding stops, a first stop <b>15</b> and a second stop <b>16</b> on.
The stops mentioned above are each a half <b>4</b>, <b>5</b> of the holding frame <b>1</b> associated and each place an end position in the alignment of the holding frame <b>1</b> is the first stop <b>13</b> the second half <b>5</b> at the first stop <b>15</b> the first half <b>4</b> the holding frame is located <b>1</b> in the closed state. Is the second stop<b>14</b> the second half <b>5</b> at the second stop <b>16</b> the first half <b>4</b> the holding frame is located <b>1</b> in the open state or in the open position.
The holding frame <b>1</b> has an earth socket <b>24</b> in which a pin (not shown) of an opposite holding frame (not shown) can engage.
Connector modules <b>19</b> have been known for a long time and for example in the <de-docref CY="DE" DNUM="19707120" KI="C1">DE 19 707 120 C1</de-docref> described. The connector modules<b>19</b> are with protruding, approximately rectangular support means <b>20</b> and springy snap hooks <b>21</b> Mistake. In the side parts<b>22</b> of the halves <b>4</b>, <b>5</b> are recesses formed as openings which are closed on all sides <b>23</b> provided in which the bracket means <b>20</b> when inserting the connector modules <b>19</b> in the holding frame <b>1</b> immerse yourself.
In <figref>4</figref> is the holding frame <b>1</b> shown in an open position. The end press noses<b>7</b>, <b>7'</b> reach into the respective first trough <b>9</b>, <b>9'</b> the second half <b>5</b> a. In this position, the holding frame<b>1</b> with connector modules <b>19</b> (<figref>7</figref>) can be equipped.
In the <figref>5</figref> and <figref>6</figref> is the holding frame <b>1</b> shown in a closed position. The end press noses<b>7</b>, <b>7'</b> reach into the respective second trough <b>10</b>, <b>10'</b> the second half <b>5</b> a. In this position, the in the holding frame<b>1</b> inserted connector modules <b>19</b> no longer slip and / or fall out.
In the embodiment shown here is on the holding frame <b>1</b> one press nose at each end <b>7</b>, <b>7'</b>, i.e. a total of two press noses. But it would also be enough, only on one end<b>11</b> of the holding frame <b>1</b> a press nose <b>7</b>, <b>7'</b> to provide and the other end <b>12</b> left with a classic joint.
The essence of the invention relates to a holding frame <b>1</b>in which connector modules <b>19</b> can be used, the holding frame <b>1</b> of two halves that can be connected together <b>4</b>, <b>5</b> consists of the halves <b>4</b>, <b>5</b> can be aligned with one another in at least two positions, the holding frame <b>1</b> has at least one fixing agent and wherein the halves <b>4</b>, <b>5</b> via which at least one fixing means can be fixed in relation to one another in at least two positions. The first half<b>4</b> at least one press nose <b>7</b>, but preferably two press noses <b>7</b>, <b>7'</b>, is / are molded on. The second half<b>5</b> points on one face <b>11</b> two hollows <b>9</b>, <b>10</b> or on both ends <b>11</b>, <b>12</b> two hollows each <b>9</b>, <b>9'</b>, <b>10</b>, <b>10'</b> on and the press nose <b>7</b> is in the two hollows <b>9</b>, <b>10</b> or the press noses <b>7</b>, <b>7'</b> are in the two troughs <b>9</b>, <b>9'</b>, <b>10</b>, <b>10'</b> press-fit, creating the halves <b>4</b>, <b>5</b> in at least two positions, an open position and a closed position, can be fixed to one another.
