An aqueous reagent composition comprising: (a) water;(b) tripropylamine at a concentration between 50 mM and 1000 mM;and (c) an electrolyte solution comprising a pH buffer selected from the group consisting of a 5 tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane buffer and a glycylglycine buffer at a concentration of the pH buffer of between 50 mM and 1200 mM, wherein the reagent composition has a pH between 6.5 and 8.5.
  2. 6
The aqueous reagent composition of any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the tripropylamine concentration is between 50 and 200 mM.
  3. 7
The aqueous reagent composition of any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein the electrolyte solution further comprises potassium and/or chloride ions. 20
  4. 8
An aqueous reagent composition comprising:(a) water;(b) piperazineN,N'-bis(2-ethanesulfonic acid) at a concentration between 10 mM and 200 mM;(c) an electrolyte solution comprising a pH buffer selected from the group consisting of a tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane buffer, a glycylglycine buffer and a phosphate buffer at a concentration of the pH buffer of between 40 mM and 1000 mM;and (d) a 25 phenyl ether-containing surfactant, wherein the reagent composition has a pH between 6.5 and 8.5.
