Abstract

gprs / geran handover support method and apparatus for lut eutran a handover method (ho) support device (ho) for a general packet radio service (gprs), global mobile radio access network system (geran ) and an evolved universal terrestrial radio access network (eutran) of long-term evolution (lte) includes the receipt of a lte measurement report (602). one hour starts for the lte network and a repositioning request signal is transmitted. a repositioning command signal is received that includes an evolved b-node identifier (id).
