Abstract
The invention relates to a system for remotely inquiring about the amounts of energy consumed by consumers (1). Said system comprises energy consumption meters (3) installed at each consumer (1), data transmission devices (4) connected to said meters, and at least one data processing device (2) by means of which the data transmission devices (4) can be connected via signal transmission links (5), whereby the data transmission devices (4) can be connected to the internet.
