A method, apparatus and system for marketing (1710), delivering (1750), and collecting payment (1775) for information is described. In one embodiment, the invention is a method of providing information via electronic mail for a payment. The invention includes sending (1750) an electronic mail message which contains provided information and a price to a customer, the provided information having an inaccessible portion of information. If the customer decides to view the provided information for the stated price, the invention further includes transferring (1775) a payment from the customer then rendering (1780) the inaccessible portion of information accessible to the customer. If the customer decides not to view the provided information for the stated price, the invention further includes receiving (1790) a disagreement from the customer then discarding (1795) the information.
